CHAPTER 44

Kaylee blinked her eyes. His body slowly moved. When the two girls eyes opened perfectly he circulated his gaze around.

"Thank God it was all just a dream. I was in my apartment" he said.

Kaylee felt like she had been asleep for a long time. He also felt his body was fine. The girl was about to get out of bed when her attention was fixed on the clothes she was wearing. Kay remembered very well, when she arrived at the apartment still wearing clothes last night. But..

"Thank God you're awake".

That baritone voice really surprised Kaylee. Kaylee raised her face to see Flint standing at the bedroom door, carrying a tray filled with food.

"I made you Kay porridge, eat it. Then take the medicine given by the doctor", said Flint approached Kaylee who was sitting on the edge of his bed.

Flint brought a tray over the bed and took out a bowl filled with porridge. "I'll feed you–"

"Prude!

Instantly the bowl broke and food splashed on the floor.

"I don't need your mercy. Get out of my life!", cried Kaylee to her feet and drove out Flint who was sitting on Kaylee's bed.

"I don't want to see you again in my life. As you said, our relationship is over! It's all over!", said Kaylee.

Flint looked at Kaylee who was so angry at him. The girl was standing by the door. "Listen to me first. All happened because I didn't know–"

"Yes right. You didn't know Kaylaa died when you were about to see your sister's funeral. You don't know what you've known all along is Kaylee. But you fucked me in a conscious state. And you realize you paid for my virginity! ". Kaylee replied to Flint with a shout.

"You never loved me, all you had in your head was wanting to take revenge for your sister's death and hurt Kaylaa. Just so you know, Kaylaa wasn't the cause of Andrew's death. But Kaylaa's death was because of your sister. That's the real story" Kaylee said, unable to hold back her emotions anymore.

"Forget over. We never met and knew each other. I have nothing to do with you guys anymore. Let me live alone. Never again appear before me Flint Myron Gladwyn. It's all over like yesterday's words!"

Flint moved from his seat. Approaching Kaylee stand up. The girl turned her face unwilling to look at Flint.

"All right, I'm going. But one you should know...That night was precious to me" Flint said deeply.

Flint passed from Kaylee's presence. I heard the door shut tight.

As Kaylee's body slumped, the girl fell on the floor of her room. He was crying so much. "I have to be strong. I can get through this. I don't need anyone else" he said in a trembling voice.

Flint leaned his head against the seat of his car. The man repeatedly hit the steering wheel of the car. The hand was wrapped in bandages but Flint kept hitting the steering wheel of his car.

"It's all my fault. Why did you do this to me, Andrew. You know I've always loved you. But you made me want revenge for your death. I didn't even know you had a boyfriend. You set me up and Kaylee. We were at the meeting under these circumstances" Flint said angrily.

"Even I got that girl in trouble. I don't know, on the same day her father died it turns out Kaylee was being overwhelmed with grief because of the loss of her brother. I'm sorry, baby".

"If I could turn back time, I wouldn't hurt you. I'll give you my shoulder where you lean".

Flint pulled his hair back. "For God's sake I love Kaylee Morgan so much. I have to go if it makes her happy. I won't hurt a second time.."
