Chapters 17. For Good

Rhiana tense. He took a deep breath and then exhaled. His gaze was flat, not fiery like before. Normally he would be angry at Kenneth, but not done.

"Listen to me, Kenneth! Better forget your plans, this unclear relationship, and your child-like desires."

"Why? Are you afraid that our relationship will get rejected?"

Kenneth was already used to Rhiana's high voice. As Rhiana spoke in a slow, but emphasis-filled tone. It feels a little strange in the ears.

"Yes. That's obvious. Now, you can leave my room. Go home!"

If Rhiana thinks Kenneth is going to give up, she's wrong. Kenneth was thinking of a way to convince Rhiana to leave. It was done solely because of Albert, his papa.

"No. I'm not going home without you, Rhiana. We will face that rejection. Please!"

Very amusing. Kenneth was already convinced of the rejection, but he was unwilling to give up before trying it. If his mother refuses, not with his father. Albert will accept it with open arms. Moreover, Rhiana has contributed greatly to the life of the Nathanael family.

"Say now!" pinta Kenneth's.

"After your parents refused, never see me again! And, one more thing! Our relationship will end after that rejection."

Kenneth nodded. Who is Rhiana? He could control Kenneth as he pleased. However, after this no longer. Kenneth must learn to be a grown man in order to take control of Rhiana. Some times Kenneth was considered like a kid yesterday afternoon.

They went to Rhiana's apartment first. Rhiana had to carry one small suitcase to put in some of her clothes. He also will not bring his car because it will be very troublesome while there.

"Is everything ready?" kenneth asked after seeing Rhiana pull one medium-sized suitcase.

"Ready, but you also have to be prepared for the risks" Rhiana said.

"Wait a minute! We need to talk before we go" Kenneth said.

Rhiana turned to look at Kenneth. To be honest, from the bottom of Rhiana's heart there was absolutely no love for Kenneth. He only felt sorry for the man who kept chasing him without giving up. However, for a moment he realized the man's fear at the rejection of his parents. Can Rhiana leave him alone? What if Kenneth makes the wrong decision? Maybe suicide, or even run away from his family life? Rhiana did not want that to happen at all.

"What do you want to talk about?"

"Tonight I'll take you to the hotel. Tomorrow before my birthday party is held, there will be people who prepare everything specifically for you. Then, I'll get the driver to pick you up at the hotel. I can't leave the mansion. There will be many guests asking for my whereabouts" Kenneth explained like an adult man who had arranged in detail.

"What if I don't come?" ask Rhiana.

"I'll chase you all the way down to the ant hole!"

Rhiana thinks Kenneth's stupid? Nah! Kenneth learned a lot from Rhiana. The more Rhiana moved away, Kenneth's two steps would be in front of her.

"OKAY. We've agreed on one thing. If one of your parents rejects this unusual relationship, then let me go!"

It was painful to hear Rhiana say that. For the time being, Kenneth agreed to whatever Rhiana said. Once everything is clear, Kenneth will find a way out.

"Yes" replied Kenneth.

Kenneth pulls Rhiana's suitcase, puts it in the trunk. Then, let's sit in front.

Rhiana folded her hands and closed her eyes. He did not want to disturb Kenneth who was focusing on looking ahead.

While Kenneth occasionally stole a glance towards Rhiana. How beautiful and attractive the cute face of his nanny first. Rhiana still looks charming. When compared to the young girls introduced by her mother, Rhiana is a complete package. He fulfilled every aspect Kenneth needed.

Beautiful, independent, intelligent, and most importantly Kenneth loves her. I don't know, since when did Kenneth start feeling love for his nanny? Maybe if Rhiana asked, she would definitely admit it or at least remember when she started falling in love.

The trip was exhausting enough to take them all the way to the hotel. Rhiana refused to eat as the journey progressed. He wanted to enjoy the food in the hotel alone without Kenneth.

"You go home. I want to enjoy the atmosphere of this hotel alone."

Kenneth had never been knocked over even though Rhiana had driven him away hundreds of times. One day Rhiana will be her most romantic woman. Maybe he is currently selling expensive because of something. Next time Kenneth will talk to her from heart to heart.

"Hmmm. Tomorrow don't forget as agreed" Kenneth explained.

The night was getting late, Kenneth had just arrived at the mansion. Apparently Stella and Albert still haven't slept. The two looked extremely anxious when Kenneth was not in the mansion.

"Finally you're home too, honey. Where the hell is it?" ask Stella.

"From a friend's house, Ma. Why aren't you asleep?" Kenneth looked at Stella and Albert in turn.

"You're afraid you're running, Kenneth. Tomorrow this mansion will be filled with beautiful girls. That's why he's afraid that you won't come" Albert replied.

Kenneth smiles. For her only Rhiana was the prettiest. No more beautiful girls would shake his heart.

"really? I thought Mama would be jealous if Papa would drop her eyes on one of the girls" Kenneth joked.

"Kenneth! Don't try to influence your Papa!" pissed Stella.

If it had been three like this, Stella would have been defeated by two of her heroes. They won't stop making fun of Stella until she admits defeat.

"I just don't want to be influenced by the girls you invited here" Kenneth said. She didn't want her mother to expect too much.

"No problem. Just as one girl you proposed matched your mom," Stella said, encouraging her son.

Kenneth was still doubtful. Rhiana would be one of the suitable candidates for both him and Albert. However, to convince Stella, Kenneth needs Albert as reinforcements.

"Must fit, Ma," said Albert. "The quality of the girl of her choice will not be in doubt. Still remember with our gamble when the day, right?"

A bet? Kenneth did not understand the direction of his parents.

"What kind of a bet is this?" ask Kenneth.

"Later you'll know for yourself" replied Albert.

Kenneth looked towards Stella. The woman also pretended to take her eyes off. After all this betting was not something that was common to Stella, but it was very interesting.

"You didn't plan anything bad for me, did you?" search Kenneth.

Albert and Stella both shook their heads. After all, this gamble is for the good of Kenneth in the future.
