Chapter 9. Stealing Start

Not a message from Rhiana, but from a girl obsessed with Kenneth, Jane Jennifer. The girl had landed perfectly at the airport. He asks Kenneth to pick him up and then takes him around for a few days.

"Ma, after driving you to the boutique, I have to go" Kenneth broke the silence.

"Where are you going? Mama wants you to be at the boutique to accompany us" Stella said.

"My girl's coming, Ma. He wanted to ask me to take a walk" Kenneth lied.

There was at least a reason to run from girl to girl until Rhiana gave up on him. Really, this is an incredible sacrifice.

Stella's upset. If he already has a girl, it should be honest from the start. Not like this. It was like playing with Serry. The girl had clearly heard Kenneth's words. How else would you like? He was trapped with his good looks.

"Ehm, no problem, Aunty. We can go shopping together while waiting for Kenneth to come back" he said, staring at Stella with a very shady look.

"Is this not a problem, dear?" Stella tried to confirm Serry's condition.

Kenneth really pissed him off. This should not have happened. Serry is the only candidate after Samantha who was rejected outright by Kenneth. Then Kenneth says that the girl is coming. I want to curse his son.

"No problem, Aunty. Come on, we're shopping!" At least Serry will be replaced with some dresses that will be bought by the Kenneth family.

"alright. Come on!" Stella's making new friends. No problem going with girls. Later she will also find the best dress for the next meeting.

Jane is thrilled to be waiting for Kenneth's arrival. It was unexpected that the cold and haughty man's response changed drastically. Jane thought she would get a rejection if she asked Kenneth to accompany her for a walk.

Apparently he's wrong. Kenneth even asked him to wait in the airport lounge. He's the one who's gonna come to her.

"Oh, Kenneth. I didn't think you would accept me so well. In the past, in college you always turned me down. Tumben now you're changing so fast. Is this your new trick to flirting with girls?" jane muttered in surprise.

Waiting is a very boring time. However, not for Jane because the man who has been filling the space of his heart will come to pick him up. It is like getting an amazing door prize.

Jane repeatedly looked at her watch. He waited a long time, but Kenneth never came. Jane's getting nervous. Could it be that the man was also playing tricks on her at this time? Suddenly someone patted her on the shoulder, Jane was shocked.

A man in sunglasses and wearing a Hoodie jacket with a head covering approached him. Kenneth's posture is what makes Jane immediately able to recognize the man.

"You?" Jane surprised.

"Don't be noisy! I'm not what you expected on campus. Wearing attractive clothes and giving good looks. Here I'm different" asserted Kenneth.

The point is, the number of paparazzi that began to investigate his life. He did not want Rhiana to know when he was playing another girl to avoid the other girl. If the nanny who is currently the target of his love knows, Kenneth is finished.

"Oh, no problem, Kenneth. I thank you for accepting me here. I thought you'd just turn me down" said Jane, showing her happiness.

"It's only temporary, Jane. I ran away from Serry. At least I'm safe" Kenneth said in his heart.

Jane was amazed again. That super shitty guy pulling his suitcase? Jane felt that this was not Kenneth, but an angel who possessed her soul.

When the two got into the car, Kenneth kept his distance. He sat down near the driver, while Jane was in the back.

"Damn! I thought he was gonna sit with me here. Failed my plan" Jane muttered.

Jane wants to spirt with him. Yeah, at least put his head right on Kenneth's shoulder. Then, he would clasp his hand tightly. However, it was just a mere shadow.

"How long are you gonna be here?" kenneth asked in such a flat tone of voice.

"A week, two weeks, three weeks, or maybe a month. Why, Ken? Do you mind?"

Jane is a rich kid. How long he disappeared from his family mansion, there would be no shortage of anything. So, how long he wants to vacation here will not be a problem.

"You'll regret lingering here. You know, the men here love to play with women. Don't let you fall victim to one of them" said Kenneth trying to scare.

"Then I'll be with you all the time. Do you mind?" Instead of Jane being scared, she took advantage of this opportunity.

"That's impossible, Jane. I have to work. I'm not like you who can waste money for nothing" Kenneth said.

Ah, goddamn. Had to use any other way for Kenneth to bend his knees before him? Do I need to use a one night stand with him? No, Jane's not that low. It could be that his family's inheritance rights will directly cross his name. He does not want to live miserable to get happiness overnight. That's a crazy idea!

Arriving at the hotel, Jane thinks Kenneth will help her. Turns out he was wrong. The man simply asked her to check in immediately and then come with him again.

"Ken, help me!" pinta Jane pleaded.

"will not. Better do as I say. If not, I have to go now."

Kenneth was devising many plans, while Rhiana was enjoying the beauty of all the sketches he made. Today he felt calm because it was far from Kenneth's distraction. The young man who had already revealed his heart.

"It feels peaceful. I hope the boy gives up. It is easy to be a successful man in an instant. The dream!" Rhiana had switched to staring at her portrait in the frame with Kenneth a few years ago.

Rhiana will also not care about the commitment of the marriage. He would only marry if the man was serious and would not play with his feelings alone. I don't know, until when will he find her? Rhiana herself was anti towards those men. So, don't expect him to decide to get married anytime soon.

Rhiana also knew that Kenneth was a spoiled man. He would definitely ask his papa for help getting a job. In addition, Rhiana will definitely get her photo that was deliberately exhibited because of its success. Rhiana could read that.

All of Rhiana's thoughts on Kenneth were gravely wrong. While waiting for Jane to get out of the hotel, she had already stolen the start to look for job vacancies near Rhiana's boutique. At least this will prove that he can be independent.

"Ah, I got it. Tomorrow I have to come there to submit the file and also take the interview," he said excitedly.
