Make Me His Substitute

Make Me His Substitute
I'll Take Care of It

"Oh yes, Gatha. Hasn't Kak Anjani visited Kak Aga here yet?" Ask Amara.

Agatha squinted her eyes at Amara's face. "Why are you asking about Anjani?" Inquiringly.

"It's okay. I just want to know. You see Kak Anjani looks so attentive to Kak Aga."

Agatha folded her lips holding a smile. "That's it, Mara." He said a little teasing.

Amara nodded her words.

"If that's what I don't know. But a few days ago I had a chance to see the story of Kak Anjani who was on his way to a foreign country."

"What, abroad?"

Agatha nodded her head in response. "Maybe Anjani's sister wants to meet someone there."

"Oh..." Amara chose to just nod and no longer asked much.

A moment of silence enveloped Amara and Agatha. Both of them were busy with their thoughts. If Agatha thought about what other plans Richard would make to make her life difficult, while Amara thought about Rendra who had no news.

"Oh yeah, Mara, how's your current relationship with Richard?" Ask Agatha.

Amara sighed deeply and exhaled slowly in the air. "It's still like this, Gatha. I've lost contact with him for a few days."

"What, what do you mean?" Agatha asked for an explanation.

"Rendra has been hard to contact lately. In fact, whatsapp hasn't been active since yesterday."

Agatha frowned. I can't believe Amara's words. As he remembered, Rendra was the one who most looked forward to the reply of a message from Amara. Moreover, Rendra is also unlikely to ignore Amara considering he really wants Amara.

"But yesterday Mom told me.

Said Rendra was buying building materials at the mom and dad's shop along with a woman."

"What?" Both of Agatha's eyelids were wide open. "With a woman, who is that woman, Mara?" Ask Agatha curiously.

Agatha kept quiet and remembered. "I know Rendra doesn't have a sister. Is it possible that brother is far away, huh?"

Amara put her shoulders down. "Come on, I don't know."

"Don't think bad, Mara. It's possible that the woman was Rendra's brother whom we didn't know all along."

"Yes, I try to stay positive. But... Why did Rendra turn off whatsapp? Not usually."

"I don't know for that either. I'll try to call her later when I get home."

Amara rubbed Agatha's arm. "All right, thanks for helping."

Agatha nodded with a smile.

"Oh yeah, then what about Mr. Richard's order yesterday, did you finish the order well?"

Agatha nodded her head. "Otherwise he'll make my life unsettled. So it was I who sacrificed my rest to work on his unreasonable order."

Amara gave a small laugh at the annoyance on Agatha's face at this moment.

The arrival of Papa Andrew who had returned from the doctor's room stopped the conversation between Amara and Agatha.

"Gatha, Papa wants to go home first because there's something Papa wants to take home. Don't you have a problem here with Amara?" Ask Papa Andrew.

"No problem, Pa. We can take turns to go home."

Amara, who listened to him, said. "You want to go home too, Gatha?"

"Yes. I want to take a shower and pick up some of my clothes at home to take to the hospital."

Amara nodded in understanding. "Then you can go home with Uncle. Let me accompany Kak Aga here."
