Make Me His Substitute

Make Me His Substitute
Who's He?

"Yes, you." Anjani.

Amara took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. "Sorry Brother Anjani. I don't feel interested in hearing it. We better just continue on the path."

"But, Mara." Anjani was about to ask Amara to think again but seeing Amara's already unfriendly eyes made Anjani undo his intentions. "All right then." Ajani continued with Amara without saying another word.

Amara smiled faintly. He was pleased that Anjani no longer forced him and respected his decision. "I promised myself to learn to forget Brother Aga. So right now I have to be consistent with my promise. Don't let the words of Anjani make me doubt my own decisions." Amara said in her heart.

Amara really did not give a gap to Anjani to discuss about Aga again in front of him. Amara even set the distance from Aga and Anjani for fear of yesterday's misunderstanding reoccurring. Not only that, Amara also refused an offer from Aga who wanted to take her for a walk that night with various reasons and asked Aga to invite Anjani alone.

"From the fact that I was gripped with Kak Anjani's heart problem to Kak Aga, I'd rather stay in this room alone." Amara muttered as she stared at the ceiling of the room which was dominated by white. Actually, he really wants to enjoy time at night in town B with a walk. But rather than being a problem later, Amara chose not to comply with his wishes.

The voice of the phone call from her phone turned Amara's gaze towards the nightstand where her phone was. Amara immediately crawled towards the nightstand and took her cell phone there.

"Rendra," a smile as bright as the morning sun rose on the beautiful face of Amara saw the name of the phone caller who was none other than Rendra.

Rendra's voice was heard greeting when the phone call was connected. Amara did not reduce the smile on her beautiful face to hear the voice of Rendra who had been missed.

"When are you coming back, hem? I miss playing with you." Rendra.

There was a long gust by Rendra across the street. Amara can conclude that Rendra is not happy to hear the answer he gave.

"Why? If you miss, you can play with Gatha first. It just so happened that Gatha was also alone there were no friends there." Advice Amara.

"Ck, what kind of lie is that? Who said Agatha was alone here? He even spent a lot of time with a man here." Answer Rendra.

"What?!" Amara's voice sounded shrill. Both of his eyes bulged as if he wanted to get out of his container. "What did you say? Agatha spending time with a guy? Tell me, who's that guy?" Amara's voice rang out in an impatient hurry.

Silence enveloped Rendra across the street. Rendra is seen closing her mouth without Amara knowing. He had slipped into talking to uncover Agatha's secret that Rendra should not tell Amara.

"Rendra. let's answer my question. Don't just shut up!"

"I'm just kidding, Mara." Rendra's voice sounded stifled to make Amara conclude if Rendra was lying to him at this time.

"Are you good at lying to me now, Rendra? What did Agatha tell you that you kept your mouth shut like this?"

Rendra went back to silence as if it was difficult to give an answer to Amara's question. Not getting an answer from Rendra made Amara then just connect their phone call to Agatha to ask for answers.
