Mama'S Twin

Mama'S Twin
Secret of Dario

"Julie, it's gonna be long. And this is a story I've kept to myself all along. It's my secret" Dario said.

"I can keep a secret. I promise," he said with confidence. He looked at Dario's eyes seriously.

"You remember when you said the Celia family was dangerous? Frans Adams may have got his karma by now. He's had a major stroke the last five years. Just slumped in his bed and everywhere in his wheelchair and his servant." Dario now sees Julie. I felt that the girl was ready to hear her story. She was afraid that her story would only make Julie more frightened.

"Frans Adams is my papa's best friend, Omar Axton. You must know Frans Adams company. Called Tunels. The public already knows the rot? Yes we're all fed up. Fortunately, the company was destroyed. My mother closed her eyes with that rot. He married me to Celia. This match is to repay the debt of gratitude," Dario said.

"What kind of mind?" ask Julie.

"Butang Budi because Frans once saved me during an accident on the ship. We went to the lake to fish. As a boy close to Papa, I insisted on coming along. I used to call him Uncle Frans. He's preparing the ship. He, me, papa, and one boat driver. We go to the middle while Mama and Maria Adams and little Celia are waiting on the sidelines while setting up a tent. We had a picnic that day. I was 5 or 6 years old maybe. Here's the photo" Dario said, showing the photo on his phone.

Julie saw. Little Dario and little Celia looked familiar. Her front teeth are dated and Celia's hair looks curly like a doll.

"Surprisingly I don't remember anything. He said I drowned and was saved. I just remember the moment I was in the hospital and Mama crying over Papa's body. But you know, when you had that nightmare about the lake, I had the same dream, Julie." Dario breathed a long breath.

The wind got less and less into the car. Dario looked back at Julie, he was still listening.

"The dream piece keeps coming. Papa is good at swimming. I don't know why he drowned, what a strange thing, right? In my dream, I saw Uncle Frans and Papa arguing. Whether it's a real memory or something. I was confused because I was still a little girl. After that debate, they seemed to get along again. Uncle Frans gave papa a bottle of fizzy drink. He drank it and fell out of his chair. He was on the floor of the ship. His mouth froze, his eyes darting towards me. I was scared and pretended to be asleep on that couch. In my dream, someone walked up to me and smothered my nose with a cloth. I may be sedated. And yes, I don't remember anything. Mama said the boat was tilted, sank and exploded. The news is in the newspaper. I drowned and Papa too. Somehow, Papa's body was taken by the driver of the ship to swim to the edge. Uncle Frans took me swimming to the edge too. Is anything awkward? What do you think," asked Dario after explaining everything to Julie.

"Who prepared the ship?" ask Julie.

"Of course Uncle Frans" replied Dario.

"The driver of the ship survived, right? Where is he now? If your dreams and memories are correct, the driver of the ship must be involved" Julie said.

"I don't know, Julie. Where can I find his name?" Dario wonders.

"You said the news about the accident was in the papers. Maybe his name is. Is it on Google?" Julie grabbed her phone.

"Note the year and the name of the ship if you remember. Maybe the lake or where the boat sank," Julie said, ready with the search engine on her phone.

Dario. Julie typed in and the search results showed up. He showed it to Dario. Dario grabbed Julie's phone. He read the news. Even the photo of his late father is there, the picture is there too.

Dario looked serious. Why didn't he think to look for her here yesterday. The advice from Julie brightened her mind.

"Simon Rogers's. Where can we find the address?" ask Dario.

"can't. The case has been closed because it is only 15 years old. It's been over 20 years now. Almost 25 years. It expired 10 years. No way, Julie. It's the policy of the laws of this country" Dario said desperately.

"You think your father died from poisoning by Frans Adams?" ask Julie carefully.

"To be honest, whether it's a dream or a memory, I don't know. It can't be used as evidence anyway. But Frans Adams' track record you know for yourself. Any dirty thing can do. Yeah, my gut feeling is very strong." Dario said weakly. Like there's no hope for this.

"There's no other clue. They argue maybe because of a business problem or something. You didn't hear anything?" ask Julie.

"No Julie" answered Dario.

"Your Papa's documents, your agenda book, you know any leads?"

"Mama got rid of all her stuff in the warehouse of our old house in Valex. It is now a villa that we visit several times a year. Papa was buried near the place. The house is guarded by Mama's former servant and her elderly husband. They took care of the garden there," replied Dario.

"Have you ever unpacked or found out?" ask Julie.

"Yet" answered Dario. Now his eyes are back alive. Yeah, he's never found out that far. Julie's advice has a point, too.

Julie saved her phone. He saw the grass in front of him. The horses were running agilely. Its manes sparkled in the spring sunlight.

"Julie, actually I asked Shan to hire a detective. I plan to see him if he's willing, of course I'm very careful. It cannot be denied that this is a secret case. There's the Axton Group name at stake if this thing comes out. Including you Julie, I believe you can keep my secret. 25 years I suffered this nightmare. I don't know dreams, I don't know memories. Of course, dreams cannot be used as evidence. But my gut feeling is strong. Frans Adams is involved in this" Dario said.

Julie just shut up. But he understands enough.

"Then the empty divorce papers?" ask Julie.

"Yes, Robert is taking care of it. Celia refused to be contacted. I don't know what he wants. I'm sorry, Julie." Dario looked at him desperately.

"Not to think too much. I don't care if you're divorced or not. I just want to focus on my son and I don't want to be disturbed" Julie said, stroking her stomach.

Dario looked at him and then looked down. He turned his eyes to the grassland.

Be ill. It turns out that this sick man expects the person he loves to return his love. Despite being his wife, Julie's heart is still untouched by him. Not in the least.
