Eavesdropping Again

Athena continued to hold onto Julie's sweaty hand. He looked at his friend and wondered.

Julie just shut up. He gave the code with a nod of his head and through his eyes if everything was okay.

Julie continues to focus on eavesdropping on the conversations Frans Adams and his wife had.

"What's? A safe in the bank? What is money?" ask Maria Adams. His tone suddenly turned happy when he heard the word money.

"Yes, maybe. Omar left the safe before he died and his stupid wife apparently knew nothing. The key to the safe I stole years ago and he didn't realize it." Frans said confidently.

"All right, we'll be waiting for her" Maria Adams said as she pushed her husband's wheelchair into the waiting room.

"Don't be here. I told you we were going to a deserted hospital cafeteria. Take me there, ", Frans said.

They seem to be walking away. Julie looked back.

"We go to cefetaria" Julie told Athena.

Athena held her hand.

"Julls, focus. We're going to see Anna's doctor. Don't put yourself in dangerous situations. Who're they?" Athena was worried.

"It's more important. I have to eavesdrop. Come on, help me. Anna's doctor is still an hour away from her appointment. Please, Athena," said Julie pleading.

Athena looked at Julie with resignation. His friend was very adamant apparently.

"How are we gonna eavesdrop? They're going to the cafeteria" said Athena, looking confused.

Julie was silent for a moment. He saw the therapy room where Frans Adams was out. The name of his friend who was mentioned was apparently not out yet.

"We pretended to order food and eat. His position was like that. I turned my back to them and you sat in front of me. So you can see them" Julie said.

Anthena seems unsure.

"You're sure they don't recognize you?" ask Athena.

"Related. Frans Adams, I've never seen his face. If Madame Maria had seen me several times when she met Celia who followed Dario to the office. But she doesn't seem to remember me" Julie said.

Athena hesitated, but she kept what Julie said.

"Alright, we can chat anything to look not eavesdropping. Remember, I'm worried about you. We'll focus on seeing Anna's doctor" Athena said.

Julie nodded. He then elbowed Athena's arm when he saw the old man appear out of the hospital's therapy room.

The man had white hair and wore a checkered shirt. His face was small and his body was quite thick.

A woman in a uniform like a nurse pushed her wheelchair.

After some distance, Anthena and Julie followed them. As soon as they got close to the cafeteria area, Julie could see Frans Adams.

Frans Adams is thin and has white hair. He got involved sick. Unlike his friend who looked fresh and fit.

Mistress Maria looked young to her. Of course, all beauty is expensive. She can hire any beauty clinic to take care of her face for a lot of money. It used to be possible because of Dario's money.

"I'll pretend to take the call and you order a drink or something" Julie said.

Julie then sat a short distance away from them and took a position to turn her back on them.

The canteen is quite crowded. Some benches filled. Their adjacent positions and in corners allow them to hear conversations with each other.

Athena came up with two glasses of fresh fruit juice. Julie greeted him by taking a glass and he put it on his front desk.

"Ah, Maria is apparently here. I am so excited to see my friend being escorted by his wife for treatment. Look at me just being escorted by a nurse" Travis Topper said in a witty manner.

Mistress Maria who heard this of course only smiled faintly. She drove her husband because she had to. How else. They don't have a nurse or a waitress anymore because they're broke.

"It could be you. I want to help my friend. Great Travis Topper can help me, right?" frans Adams said flatteringly.

"What can I help you with?" ask Travis.

Frans Adams pulled a gold key out of his shirt pocket.

He observed it with pride and loaned it to Travis Topper.

"What's this?" travis asked a little confused.

"See the carving hidden at the end of the key's eye, Travis," Frans Adams said.

Maria Adams was interested in it.

Julie who heard about it immediately grabbed Athena's hand. He gave the code to photograph them secretly.

"Dante Bank?" Travis was surprised to have read the code.

"Yes, that's a special key to unlock the secret vault of a bank's priority customer. It wasn't mine of course" Frans said.

"Then?" Travis still doesn't understand.

"Yes, your great son will have a position at Dante Bank. I can pay you for this" Frans said meaningfully.

Travis didn't answer anything. But he nodded with a smile happy to hear the word money.

Julie who could not see the scene coded with eyes at Athena.

Athena didn't reply to anything. It was just that his eyes were glaring in fear.

"What?" julie whispers to Athena.

"Miss Mary looked at me" said Athena whispering quickly. His eyes were shocked when he said that.
