Maple High School Academy Year 3

Maple High School Academy Year 3
The Last Chaos in Boneyard - Wisteria Academy

The Wisteria Academy

THE OLD WELL, which has carved rocks and is completely covered by vines, looks abandoned with leaves falling around it. Well of Time, a well that's gone hundreds of years from bridging the past to the future, is a disaster for Maple Academy students who want to take part in a tournament in Autumnland.

The result of a 465-year journey to the past— armed with new mission information, which suddenly changes due to the portal that connects them with the past—Mr. Navarro and Lord Betelgeuse delivered the mandate of the theft of mirror fragments from the Half-Blood Nobleses Squad, in which anti-prefect circles mentioned the Headmaster as part of them.

Dozens of Maple Academy students who were selected in the mission— consisted of four teams with different mission targets— spewed into the air, in turn out of Well of Time. The team with the Snow-haired Wizard became the first survivors to make it out of the well. A body whose endurance is strong enough against magic like the striped Dwarf of the Wizard lineage follows later. Candra alone was grateful her body only experienced aches. Unlike the blind girl from the team next door, her body hit the ground with quite a loud noise. Not intending not to ignore friends, given the suffering they experience, it feels difficult even to just say hello.

The werewolf was bongsor-bodied, curled up on the ground. He did not stop raving about his butt hitting the thorny rocks. “I think we should petition the Principal. Not only is our task suddenly replaced, at least our landing in this land of antagonism must be guaranteed,” complained the man with the most striking silver hair among his group mates.

“It stays in Autumnland. Just .. We are in the past. At least, use your ears wisely to hear the direction of the Headmaster,” said Candra Menhera, a mixed-blood Autumnland noble whose elements are contradictory, but dominated by the Menhera gene, a descendant from the Darksville region.

“Wow .. I just found out that your mouth works. At first, I thought it was just a display, like a mask covering a part of your face.” The insinuation came from the blonde Elf who looked cynically at Candra.

Fallen Angel's descendants, but lacking wings and in charge of team leadership, broke up the quarrels of its members. “If you guys don't stop babbling, I make sure you can't voice anymore.” Ashlen's words continue, “Evan, you better immediately share the anti-nausea potion.”

The elf whose name is called, immediately distributed nausea relieving fluid. Especially for Arion, the Werewolf who looks the most miserable with a pale face and a mouth-to-mouth. Apparently, Evander herb is quite powerful to reduce nausea and relieve the crumbling of the body due to colliding with the ground when out of Well of Time.

The blinding, but non-intercepting sunlight on the skin, made Candra refrain from removing her cloak. Their clothes have automatically changed to lilac color with a medieval style of clothing that covers his white shirt.

"We should hurry up, it's day. We shouldn't waste time here" Ashlen said. He asks Candra to lead the way. As the only magician in her group, it's no wonder that Candra knows the topography of Autumnland. The sweet aroma of willow trees and the sound of waves pounding from the southeast, where the steep coral connecting Well of Time with Wisteria Academy, will look like an isolated island when the sea water around it is rising.

They passed through the Purple Coral, a steep reef with an unbalanced topography. The team members had trouble getting to the top, where the Wisteria Academy castle was located. Had Candra not reminded them of the message from Lord Betelgeuse regarding the ban on the use of magic, Evander would have already summoned his contracted animal. He is the laziest if he has to walk down the winding streets and uphill with a sweat bath condition.

On the way to the Wisteria Academy castle, the team devised a strategy to capture mirror fragments from Navarro. "It can be said that our mission is, simply, difficult. We need to stay alert. Even though the Headmaster is in a younger version, I'm sure that his strength is above ours." Ashlen explained, while warning the team to always be on standby. In fact, give a plan for a second plan, if the actions of Navarro do not match their predictions. "As long as we work together, we can minimize losses."

Arion is given a special warning by Ashlen not to carelessly brag, let alone to reveal their mission to others. "Be more intelligent. I could've exposed the information I have about you, which many people don't know."

Ashlen smiled faintly, then whispered softly at the Elf who looked tense. "You're good not to mess with my mood." Pat Evander's shoulder twice, then turned around, continuing the journey.

They reached the gates of the Wisteria Academy, a banner reading "Humanday Festival" clearly displayed. The Magic Knights were armored with spooky faces, keeping a tight guard. The crowd and the line of people lining up in front of the castle gate greeted them. Ashlen leads the way and enters the queue first.

After passing through the gate, they reached Tunnelove, a long tunnel with beautiful wisteria flowers. Seeing the fiercest girl of his age on the team next door, Arion galloped quickly, interrupting the team negotiations while showing off an innocent smile. “Sip. There carry out. Don't kayak my team who already smells terrible.” Arion is between Sam and Akkad. The target girl is ready to hit Arion with the ultimate weapon. However, Kannika had to undo her intentions because Sam had already first pulled her arm for the rood work, so as not to cause a commotion that harmed their team.

Just a few minutes they were crossing the Tunnelove, luck was on his side. They saw Navarro walking leisurely under the tunnel. The Headmaster with a younger appearance, the look on his face looked rather friendly. For some reason, after becoming the Headmaster, he looked terrifying. Maybe due to taking care of troubled students who spend a lot of energy and facial veins so often tense.

Navarro seemed to have realized that he was being stalked by a group of young people from the future. It galloped quickly, mingling with the crowd of people.

Every time the festival was held, Wisteria Academy students were released in and out of the castle, it facilitated their disguise around the castle grounds. They took advantage of the opportunity to be able to snatch the mirror fragments.

Ashlen patted Arion on the shoulder, whispering softly, "Replace the second plan." Without rebutting, Arion resigned, walking away from the crowd.

Situation's changed. Candra, Ashlen and Evander split up. They're trying to cut the distance with Navarro.

The crowd grew even more when the sun was almost at the top of the head. The noisy conversation between sellers-buyers enliven the atmosphere. Dozens of Magic Knights stood guard at the corners of the castle grounds.

After a long time, there was a rumbling sound, not big and harmless, but powerful enough to make people panic. People were talking about the cause of the commotion, some had already walked away from the booth. The Magic Knights gave instructions and some ran in search of the source of the chaos. Up to half of the initial number of Magic Knights patrolling.

Utilizing the chaos, Ashlen activates Deadly Voice in the form of singing in a soft voice. Some people wonder, singing in a crowd may be a bad idea. Meanwhile, the team had already taken the potion to reduce the side effects of Deadly Voice.

Ashlen made it to the closest point to Navarro. Candra caught up behind, with her shuffling grasping a wand or golden magic wand hidden behind a cloak. The Wand of Bloodstone, a 10-centimeter stick belonging to Candra, with the Bloodstone— stone being the iconic rarest resource in the Darksville area, one of the regions in the southeastern part of Autumnland— can be found at both ends of the stick.

As small as possible, Candra casts her magic in the form of a black shadow that creeps into Navarro's body to detect the presence of the thing being sought. Basically, a small vibration that posed no danger, most likely would not be ignored by the Magic Knights.

"Slow once!” Evander grumbled, “If so, it's been since the beginning that I should have started." He was in the back row, observing Candra who for him was ineffective in acting. He thought, it would be better to use big magic at once, so that it would be resolved faster. It is not a silent act that takes a lot of time. Evander has decided. He did not care when Ashlen was about to scold him.

Never mind. Forgetit. Run the mission first.

The power of Evander is able to make the movement of the people around him stop. Within the next ten minutes, they would look like statues, with bodies surrounded by ice chips. To avoid people's consciousness, Ashlen manipulates their minds with singing. As for Candra, she enhances her magic to find mirror fragments. Come ..., hurry!

Minutes passed, Candra managed to find where the object they were looking for. Unfortunately, before Candra could seize the mirror, the barrier wall with a greenish aura made Ashlen and Candra who were within the radius closest to Navarro bounced. Once there was a reproach from Ashlen, Candra wiped the corner of her lips.

Damn it, but a little more.

The ice chips that had surrounded the people and stopped their movement were gone. Everything returned to normal activity. Their minds had been tuned in by Ashlen, so they thought there was no strange occurrence, other than a young man suddenly singing.

Another commotion occurred near the castle gate. Candra's eye tail caught two familiar figures. Dwarf girl with neatly braided hair—Lyra—walk fast, following the long steps belonging to the red-haired Werewolf girl with a short cut, Zanesha.

Though usually, they always do not get along, especially with the mini body of Lyra. Zanesha looks like a stepmother dragging her son home from the festival. They forcibly broke through the queue to Tunnelove, despite getting scorn from people for being reckless, but the inspectors still allowed them to pass.

The looseness of the rules that the examination officers carried out, attracted the attention of the Magic Knights. They are close to the Candra team. It could be, the identity of the team revealed if discovered. Candra shook her head slowly to regain focus, there was no time to think about anything else. Their mission has just begun.  Failing the first attempt, Ashlen continues the plan, again manipulating people's minds. However, apparently the Magic Knights were galloping towards them. It's time to get it!

Candra and Ashlen attempt to weaken Navarro's power and force him to unleash the power of Absolute Protection which for them is very troublesome. Evander helps from behind. He released arrows made of ice chips to penetrate Navarro's defenses.

Unfortunately, instead of getting lucky, because of panic. He was in a hurry and did not control the mana that came out to stop the movement of the people as well as restrain the Magic Knights' steps. As a result, those Magic Knights actually approached towards them with wrath!

Evander complained inwardly, I shouldn't have been as careless as I am now! We could all die before lunch.
