THERE WAS NO OCCURRENCE of catching a magic knight while asleep. Not any other worries. The money Kannika brought was still safe. The feathers of Betelgeuse were still kept in Akkadian pockets, although it was initially Galavidi who was appointed to keep them and turned down. Team Charming realized it was a real oddity.
“I don't understand.” Sam sighed deeply filling his claustrophobic chest.
Galavidi. He doesn't understand either. Within a few seconds the series of events appeared one by one, becoming a surprise without an answer. Had Kannika really stolen such a thrown charge, the chase with the magic knight would not have needed that dormitory. However, if the perpetrator of the theft told is not Kannika—and they really know it—then the game of fugitives does not need to happen.
But there is something more important. “No matter the actual situation, whatever the motive of this incident, we really feel terrorized. It's like a big blow. We can not do anything even though we know it will be played,” Galavidi said.
Kannika. “But .. when the allegations are filed and the face is known to the public, I will be excommunicated. The discrimination of criminals in Autumnland is very bad. The magic knight gets a report and searches for the fugitive. Isn't there someone guarding the entrance of the city? They can be additional witnesses if I come with you long after the theft happened.”
Galavidi. “There has never been discrimination to anyone at Autumnland.”
“You know where this information is from?” Akkadian is suspicious.
“Sam says it.” Kannika's reply made the others look towards Sam.
“It is true, Galavidi told me.”
“I?” Galavidi was surprised not to be a bitch. “When?”
Rather than intimidating, Sam's gaze was more toward the purpose of observing and guessing. “You really don't remember when we waited for Kannika and Akkad to come? Although I'm forgetful, but this incident is still attached to my brain. You told Autumnland and I continued the story to Kannika because Akkad was engrossed in seeing fish in the fountain pond.”
“While in the fountain pool, I met Galavidi who came out of the public toilet,” Akkadia said.
Galavidi massaged his head. “I experienced severe abdominal pain and ended up languishing in the toilet long enough.”
“However, you came five minutes after that, then kannika and Akkadia were seen carrying each other.” Sam said very sure.
“No one pretends to be us, ‘right?” chirps Akkadia.
Faintly, the faces of each member looked suspicious of each other. Instead of finding a solution, they were more raging with their individual thoughts. Although the rustling of the wind in the lush tree where they were shelter was a little noisy. Although the splashing water from the colorful tailed fish in the fountain pool sounds interesting. Although the fountain is no less like the soothing splash of rain. Although the clock tower is chiming as a sign of the sun has reached its peak. And even with the collaboration of such a beautiful atmosphere, they remained unmoved. Reluctant to accuse and reluctant to respond.
Sam's eyes moved to every face. Nothing is strange and different. They did not expect such a simple mission to change so seriously. True or not, the Charming team has always been brave in terms of opinion. They are far from a sloppy team. From the beginning, they were the best combination even though bickering was common.
“Alright, we will enter that possibility.” The cloak and his right hand covered the hair and one of the eyes of Galavidi, as well as the intense gaze it showed how serious he was towards this matter. “However, now I can't trust anyone.”
The witch was closed after scooping her face and leaning against the tree. His consciousness vanished as the light in his eye pelurk disappeared, then reappeared with the pungent fragrance of roses. Galavidi feels an oddity. Anis did not hear his call. Even so, he was pretty sure his feet were treading the wet ground. He walked without a lamp. It's okay, he's used to it. At times Galavidi screams out the names he remembers, starting from the principal, the teachers, and the students of Maple Academy. There's no answer. What exactly did Galavidi expect despite knowing that his hearing was filled only with the sound of rapids?
“I know what you need most right now.”
The voice whispered right in his ear. Galavidi was shocked and the only question that popped into her head was bestowed along with a rant, “Who?”
“Poor upmu!”
“Aduh. Ouch. I'm hurt, you know if you speak so rudely. Though my arrival was purely helpful.” The sound moved to his right ear.
Galavidi slashed randomly using his wand of two characters, but the expected physical form did not exist. That means the alleged abduction that had been thought of was wrong, even though he himself doubted it. Galavidi began to understand, but before saying anything, the voice sneered. “Wah, you are late to realize that this is not the reality. You are stupid, you know.”
Ruggedly. His words were too blunt. Therefore, Galavidi need not hold back. “Hei! I—”
“What?” The laughter was heard again after cutting the words off at will. “Have you heard a fairy tale? I'm a reliable storyteller, you know.”
“Probable!”
“So I was rejected, nih?” The voice sounded more cheerful. “No matter, anyway. So just listen because from the beginning you can not choose. Yes, pity, deh.”
Galavidi's head feels dizzy. For some reason, there was a sense of being watching the theater in the magnificent building within him. The sound is like moving, circling, and acting like it is playing a role. That means, there is indeed someone who is with Galavidi with another entity.
“Before, there was someone who was insulted for being considered an unlucky child. His only mistake was one, born with sharp and striking red eyes. It was in stark contrast to her cloud-white hair. The name of an unlucky child emerged when his father was bankrupt and his mother was sickly.”
Galavidi felt a touch in her eyes, nose, cheeks, and hair as if the child resembled her. The story begins with a low voice and a little hoarse, making the fur of his nape goosebumps. Sounding from the breath even though slowly. His style of storytelling is too deep, no wonder if I claim to be a reliable storyteller, at least that's what Galavidi thinks.
“The child is growing too fast. His daily life was filled with life-threatening training. His only wish was one, to die as soon as possible. His mother's request is to live well. Don't be so flashy. Don't look dangerous. Live like a rock. Unattractive and worthless, but still needed. Even so, he did not feel any kindness and blessings. Until the gossip about a crystal that could grant anything spread.”
Galavidi's forehead frowned. “Crystals?”
“Ya, crystal.” The voice was wafting in front of Galavidi's face. “You know as his age and height increase, his abilities become unmatched? Unfortunately, believing in gossip is like fishing in a volcanic crater. In the end, the boy got nothing. Pathetic, huh? This is the best story, you know.”
“Who said it?”
“Me, dong.” I heard laughter again. “You hear the next story?”
“Slightly,” says Galavidi with prestige.
Again, that annoying laugh sounded. “However, the time is up. I was too engrossed to forget something important.”
“What?”
“Listen to me, ordinary items will be destroyed if slammed. However, everything in this world has its own story. Like that child too, you who have origin and mendoreh his own story.” The voice sounded further away. “Sometimes, there comes a time when you need to use your entire senses, Avi.”
The smell of roses fades. He floated slowly and the foot that stepped on the wet ground was dry again. The sound of the rapids is getting faint. Galavidi began to feel her forehead being patted gently. His head was carrying something soft. The position before he fell asleep was replaced by Akkadian. The intention to give a smile also failed.
“Available?” ask Akkadian.
“No, he's dead.” Kannika grumbles. “Smart again, dong, if you want to talk!”
