Blue Harbor
FRESH BLOOD DUE to a shot of arrows along one cubit has not stopped, because Ashlen only binds the wound with a handkerchief given by Evander. There was no time to take care of his injuries, the horse race of the knight was still clearly heard. It was fortunate that they faced off when Humanday was like this, so the Magic Knights could not use their magic. Otherwise, they would not have survived.
Ashlen growled at the pain he suffered, and was upset with the knights who had not given up chasing them. Ashlen turned to Evander and Candra who were riding the Kerineia Deer. At first glance, they look like brothers with similar blonde hair, if Evander does not show a clear look of hostility to men who have run out of mana. “Evan, you still have the anti-drowsiness herb, don't you?”
“What are you asking? Your wounds have not been treated,” Evander scoffed at Ashlen who turned down an offer to treat a wound to his arm. “You intend to stay awake, do you? Ck, no need to pretend to be strong, Chairman.”
“Quick just give me that potion!” Ashlen received an inch-sized potion bottle with a wooden cover. Instantly, the pungent aroma from the mixture of ingredients of the herb made him frown. “Comingon to drink the potion. Don't forget to give it to Candra as well.”
Ashlen asks them to hide behind the lush trees three meters high. Because the Humanday festival is not over yet, but they have already been caught using magic, although on a small scale—for them—Ashlen decided to call Boss, his pet contract in the form of a mouse has mimicry skills like a chameleon. This made it easier for Ashlen to approach the magic knights without being seen.
Arion gulped down a potion as black as disgusting ink by force. Meanwhile, Evander's Kerineia Deer was already shredded with ice when he was ordered to leave.
“Oath! I'll never drink it again in a lifetime!” Arion rubbed the edge of his mouth. “It feels much worse than the failed Nastradamus concoction.”
Evander interrupts, “Just learn. Nastradamus is my senior.” Then he patted Arion's back tightly and made the green-eyed man cough, until he heard a burp. “Good. The effect of the herb will be much better if you burp.”
“Hey, you must have intentionally!” Arion's protest, countered by a grinning smile from Evander.
“Shut!” The Ashlen Citadel made Arion who was about to make a sound, speechless. He looked at Ashlen, requesting that the long-black-haired man with the red hair tie to immediately unleash his talent.
The team leader was indifferent to Arion's protest stance. Before leaving the team, Ashlen explained, “You guys need to remember, when I sing later, I hope you guys take care of each other to stay awake.”
Despite drinking anti-drowsiness potions, they only realized that the charm of the Siren lineage was worth watching out for. Each verse they heard from Ashlen, increased the intensity of his drowsiness. Candra who tend to be quiet, suddenly more quiet due to increased drowsiness. Bored, Arion took the opportunity to reveal Candra's cloak hood.
“You'd better be quiet than to disturb people's privacy.” Candra kicked Arion's shin hard enough, then stepped away and covered her head back. Candra hates the most when the cursed face is exposed by others, while Arion is one of the few people who likes to steal it.
The horses that the Magic Knights were riding on suddenly fell asleep, dropping several knights who had not been on standby, causing chaos among the pursuers. Ashlen immediately went to the group. He stared at the only Wizard in his group. “Can, do you know a place where we can get important information outside the city area?”
“What about Blue Harbor? The port includes a promising information exchange place.” Candra's gaze drifted to the white cloth that was now a mixture of red and tanned, wrapping Ashlen's wounds. “We can also visit Potion Industry to get some herbs.”
Now Arion put his arm on Evander's shoulder while flicking his finger. “You take it easy, Mealer, I have a guarantee we can eat good for free.” Evander's disdainful gaze made Arion chuckle. He patted Evander on the shoulder as he said, “That's one of the reasons I was able to break free from the knight interrogation.” Then Arion turned to Candra, “You said Blue Harbor, right? Let's go there!”
“Do you know the way to get there? The way to the toilet you often forget,” Evander said.
Arion. “Of course I forgot. But don't we have Candra? Sir Candra, please lead the way.”
From the back of the three men of one generation, Ashlen noticed their interaction. He sighed and complained softly, “Now I understand the suffering Mevel experienced during field trip.”
Located at the southern end of the Wizardium Castel, the harbor of the royal ships had twice the crowd compared to the Light of City. A place where a myriad of information can be obtained. As well as-metra with his ability, Ashlen could have dozens of vine— currency Autumnland— if he is in a fairly healthy state. Of course, he would not cause the 180-centimeter-tall male to lose some potions in exchange for the potions they needed.
“Thank you, Evan.” The heartfelt expression came from Ashlen because Evander helped him treat the now-dry wounds of the arrows.
After getting information about Johanes' house, Arion and Candra return to Potion Industry, where Evander and Ashlen exchange some of Evander's ingredients. They plan to test the elements on a mirror fragment they recovered from Navarro.
Each region in Autumnland has its own elements that are characteristic of the area. In fact, not infrequently, each region has rare and endemic plants and animals whose existence represents the area concerned.
“At least we just need a herb that has the essence of cactus plants, electric lily, and water lotus.” Candra explained her plan. “For the gloongi plant and holy basil, we can use the magic from my wand that has the essence of those two plants.”
Candra cast a spell, several bottles of the same size, five centimeters high with a winding of small roots covering almost the entire bottle appeared. The man with jet-black pupils who would turn red when the curse was relapsing gave Evander all five bottles. Before the food lovers make a sound, Candra precedes, “Hopefully these bottles are enough to be exchanged for a few bottles of plants we need.”
Due to the essence of Bloodstone—which is the rarest resource in Darksville—as well as access to the region which is quite risky, of course, the value of one bottle containing Bloodstone powder has a fairly high selling value in Potion Industry. So that with the other four bottles containing the holy basil powder being swapped out, the cactus plant, electric lily and water lotus can finally collect.
Then they settled temporarily in John's residence and borrowed his spacious-looking backyard. The team is about to start testing. When the day had changed, colorful fireworks exploded on the night horizon as a sign that the Humanday festival had ended, meaning that the use of magic was allowed.
“Are you sure this is gonna end fine?” Arion seemed nervous, though it was already explained that Humanday had ended. He was a little deterred if faced with the Magic Knights for the third time. “If you use 'that' magic, Mr. Neither Navarro nor the Magic Knights will come here, will they?”
Candra answered him with a slit. Meanwhile, they simultaneously turned to the only person they could rely on.
“What? Why are you looking at me like that?”
