Maple High School Academy Year 3
The Uninvited Guest for Betelgeuse - 10

“TWO HUNDRED WIZER for four people.” Akkadian paid the cost of boarding the ship.

Initially, they planned to board the ship then fly in the middle of the journey. However, with Sam's condition as severe as this, the plan will not work. They can't do anything but wait for Sam's better condition—though a little. With bruises, cuts in the abdomen that are still spreading, also running out of mana is not a good condition. Supposedly, Sam gets treatment faster than he completes the mission. However, the treatment could not happen if it had not returned to Maple Academy.

Sam was laid in the ship's dugout, surrounded by team members. No expression of relief is created.

Here, Galavidi looks the hardest. “Maybe the current status of Cristal Lake is very dangerous. His surge of magic energy could mess up mana and cripple a lifetime of ability. I don't know for sure, anyway. I've only read a book about Cristal Lake's condition when the festival phenomenon occurs three days in a row.” He looked at Sam. “I'm afraid the Chairman gets worse than this.”

“How for a human like me?” Kannika looked at Galavidi deeply.

Galavidi sniffing shoulders “Entah. If my theory of ignorance is correct, you'll be fine. Humans do not have enough mana to use magic, and you also do not have magic, ‘kan? The problem is I don't know if someone's limit is said to be safe approaching Cristal Lake when this phenomenon occurs. As for the four team members, there were three who could use magic.”

Kannika nodded in understanding. He became more relieved to hear the remark despite the empty theory.

“We should give him a pain reliever herb.” Akkadian pointed at Sam who was beginning to wake up.

Galavidi and Kannika turned towards Sam.

“You're right,” says Galavidi. “At least, the Chairman does not feel too much pain.”

Sam downed the bitter potion and then stammered he said, “There is no time left. We should destroy the mirror as quickly as possible.”

The roar of the waves grew increasingly violent crashing into the ship they were riding on. To avoid silence between them. The ship tiptoed slightly and almost made Sam's head stumble.

“Can't we reverse mirror breaking?” Kannika asked, her gaze that looks mocking Sam's condition.

“No!” reject Sam firmly.

Galavidi breathed a heavy sigh. “Good. Let's think together, how to destroy that mirror.”

“Equalize,” Sam replied.

“I don't think it's a problem.” Sam held his stomach.

Galavidi stared out the window. “In the meantime we get to the Rainville area port. We will use a convenient pedati to get to Cristal Lake so that the condition of the Chairman does not deteriorate.”

Rainville, Galavidi's birthplace is filled with the most charming lakes and crystals on the Autumnland mainland. From the folklore circulating in Rainville, this region is the most sacred and protected area because it is always obedient to their beliefs and goddess, the Moon Goddess. Swanhorn, one of the places in the Rainville area that contains obedient and obedient residents. They strongly believed the words that were revealed and translated in the temple of the moon. Therefore, Galavidi cannot deny that Rainville is full of people and sometimes likes to discriminate against other types of witches as if he is the only best witch. Fortunately, Galavidi was not raised with that kind of thinking.

Passing Swanhorn before reaching Cristal Lake, the pedati they rented stopped at a roomy place. Akkadian, Sam, and Galavidi board Anz and will enter after Kannika gains a safe place and blind spot from the reach of the guards.

“Crystal Lake is the largest we will go to. The place is open and can be seen from above. Remember that! Maybe the opportunity is just a little bit and we have to do it quickly,” Galavidi said before Anz flew.

Now the Charming team can see the surface of Cristal Lake from above. Galavidi uses Anis, his dragonfly, to go around and see Kannika.  After getting a safe place from the sight of magic knight—which is undoubtedly overcome by bushes and lush pepohan shaped like an umbrella—Galavidi down carefully with the help of Sam and Akkadia down by swinging using his fishing rod. They must be good at calculating Anz's distance from the ground. It would be dangerous to be discovered just because of the flapping of its wings. Although in fact they are also not sure considering Anz's body is not as small as an insect and can be seen from a distance.

Sam, Akkadian, and Galavidi are starting to feel tight.

“Solve quickly!” obviously Galavidi then took out the wing feathers of Betelgeuse.

Aided by the Akkadian mana, Sam takes out the skull-shaped angelic heirloom, Equalizer. At that moment, the feathers of Betelgeuse's wings turned into mirror fragments and the reaction was opposite. At this point, the power of Sam and Galavidi plummeted to the point that it was sustained by Akkadian and Kannika.

There's no time. Galavidi can only bet. “I throw and crash.”

Sam's move was stung despite having been paved Akkadian to keep distance from Galavidi. Not far, just three meters. After being calculated accordingly, he started counting, “One, two, three!”

Just a second after the time mirror flakes were thrown, Sam crashed his Equalizer. Instantly, an explosion occurred at the same time a purple-colored glow glow glow shimmered with a black puff. His voice was shrill high almost painfully though not as bad as the singing of Wakepsk Maple Academy.

The tremors in the surrounding area were as great as that, it was impossible for the Magic Knights not to know. The Wind Knights became boisterous, the water of Cristal Lake surged quite high and became a terrifying vortex. The splashes of lake water washed over them. Sam coughed and was unconscious. Galavidi and Akkadian vomited blood, they reached their limit. With such a condition, it was obvious that Kannika was panicking.

The footsteps became clearer. It was certain that the Magic Knights came to them. Humans are increasingly concerned if their racial identity is discovered. His efforts continued alone, though limited to holding Galavidi to get close to Sam and Akkad.

“Holy. Truly doomsday,” Kannika said before they were finally swallowed raw by a puff of black smoke and disappeared without a trace.

A portal draws them back to the future. Into the time they should have been. Students at Maple Academy.
