Marlangens
CHAPTER 28

The next day when Om Bagas, Sella and I had breakfast I finally told her everything that Mom was alive and now in a mental hospital.

"So your father has lied to us all out, Langen?" ask Om Bagas emotion.

"Patience, Pah. The important thing is that we know Auntie Wulan is alive" Sella said, trying to calm down Om Bagas.

"Today I will also pick Mba Wulan back here, Mba I am not crazy," said Om Bagas furiously.

That day too Om Bagas took a leave of absence from work and went to Semarang with me and Sella.

After passing through almost Seven hours of travel by train without talking much to each other we finally arrived in Semarang. We also rented an online taxi to the mental hospital where I was treated.

When I got there I told the doctor that Om Bagas was Mom's sister. At first the Doctor objected to allow Om Bagas to meet Mom because he had promised Father that only I could see Mom.

But because Om Bagas forced the Doctor to finally give up after all Mother had been in the mental hospital for too long. It is better if the mother interacts with the people closest to her.

I don't dare to go with Om Bagas into Mom's room. I'm afraid she'll be hysterical like yesterday when I see me. I was just peeking behind the door. Seeing Mom hug Om Bagas with affection made me envious. Why can't you be like that to me.

After a long chat with Mom, Om Bagas asked to bring Mom home to Jakarta.

"I want to take my brother to Jakarta, Doc," said Om Bagas firmly to the Doctor.

"Actually the condition of Miss Wulan is fine, never hysterical or make a rowdy. Ms. Wulan is like a normal person, but yesterday Ms. Wulan had time to review the controls when she met her daughter" the doctor said as he looked at me.

"So talking to me was fine too, normal. I want to take Mba Wulan home now."

After completing all the administration and others finally I can be brought back to Jakarta. I can see that Om Bagas really misses Mom just as much as I do.

When I saw that she was not hysterical anymore but like I did not think of me at all, I did not want to rebuke me and even saw that I did not. Along the way I only chatted intermittently with Sella.

"I'm sorry you had to share a room with me" I told Sella.

"Geez don't hesitate, I even like having a roommate," he replied with a smile.

That night I couldn't sleep, thinking what tomorrow would be like. Should I approach Mom. But I'm afraid Mom will hate me even more. I really want to hug Mom.

"Langen kangen, ma'am. Why do you hate Langen?" I murmured with tears soaking my cheeks.

The next day when Sella and I went down to the dining room, I saw that Mom was busy making breakfast. I saw Mom's face so radiant, so it was like it was like a meal prepared by Mom herself.

Sella and I told Om Bagas and Mom to go to college, Mom was so warm with Sella but so cold with me that I didn't even want to kiss her hand. I tried to look tough in front of Sella and Om Bagas even though my feelings were sore.

"Your mother needs time to accept all this, so don't get into the heart." Entertain Sella when we're in the car.

Arriving at the campus as usual Sella separated from me, I also chose to walk alone. Before my two best friends, Amel and Bayu came to me.

"Hey, how come you don't look so excited, Langen?" ask Amel.

"It's okay" I answered.

"Langen is mysterious, rich in psychic aja" said Bayu who immediately made me uncomfortable.

It seems like they know I don't want to be bothered so they choose to go together. I also go ahead of them. Just a few steps I walked, suddenly I heard the sound of falling objects followed by the sound of Amel's screams.

I turned my body around and now I know why Amel screamed because I did the same thing. How not, now I saw a large pot was on the head of Bayu who now fell face down with his head crushed like chopped meat.
