Chapter 7. The return of Marisa

Nadya's decision to reject Anjas' invitation to buy him a meal was a very appropriate decision. Reno had gone home earlier than usual, even the man had now changed his clothes and was sitting casually on the terrace.

"It's a good thing I refused Anjas' invitation." Nadya muttered as she got off the online motorcycle and saw Reno who was also looking at her.

Deg, Nadya's heart is beating faster than usual. Recall that the night Reno touched him, that day Reno also went home early and sat on the terrace as it is today. Nadya feels dejavu, she is afraid that she will again end up in bed with Reno.

"Mas." call Nadya bravely greet Reno and grab Reno's hand for her to kiss the back of her hand. Nadya had not done this for a long time, exactly after the night Reno touched her.

"You ride an online motorcycle every day?" ask Reno who just realized that Nadya does not have a private vehicle.

Reno cursed herself who was too late to realize this. How the wife of a great businessman like him is allowed to use two-wheeled public transportation.

"It's lucky that Ojek's brother." said Reno in his heart.

Nadya nodded in response to Reno's question, then she said goodbye to Reno to enter the house leaving Reno staring at her back.

After Maghrib Nadya prepared dinner for Reno as usual. His activities stopped when he heard the voice of the woman who greeted him by calling his name.

"Hi Nad." said Marisa.

"When will Risa come home?" asked Nadya who was surprised to see Marisa's presence.

He didn't know that Marisa had come home, it was only fitting that she hadn't seen Reno since.

"It means Reno since then with Marisa. They must have let go of longing." thought Nadya while smiling at Marisa. She is not jealous but why does it feel uncomfortable considering Reno is alone with Marisa.

"I just arrived." replied Marisa.

"Ohh" said Nadya who was wrong to guess but there was a sense of relief in him.

Then where's Reno? Usually the man is in front of the television while waiting for Nadya to finish preparing dinner.

"Hi's beautiful." said Kevin to Nadya's surprise.

"Why should this man come back to this house?" Nadya asked herself in surprise.

"Hi Kak, how are you." Nadya replied only to honor Kevin as Marisa's friend.

"I'm hungry, your cooking is like Nad's" said Marisa cutting off Kevin who was about to answer Nadya's question while pulling a table chair for her to sit on.

"It must be good, I'm sure." said Kevin who sat next to Marisa.

Without waiting for Reno, Marisa and Kevin eat the dishes on the table. Nadya was surprised by Marisa's attitude that did not care about Reno who had eaten or not. Not even the woman asked about her husband or Reno's whereabouts.

"Have they not seen each other for a long time?" nadia asked herself.

Marisa and Kevin had just finished their meal when Reno arrived at the dinner table.

"Hi Ren, I'm coming home" said Marisa, smiling broadly at Reno.

Marisa seemed surprised by Reno's usual attitude, there was no warm hug or affectionate kiss that Reno gave her as usual because they had not met for a long time. The man instead chose to pull a chair and sit at the dining table, rather than approaching Marisa.

"Is he still angry that I forced him to marry Nadya?" inner Marisa.

Seeing Reno sitting down, Nadya immediately took the rice on the plate in front of Reno.

"I thought you ate, baby." said Marisa.

Again Marisa was disappointed because Reno did not answer her words, Reno actually spoke to Nadya.

"You haven't eaten, have you" Reno said.

"I will." replied Nadya.

Nadya felt uncomfortable sitting with Reno, Marisa and Kevin. It is better to eat with Ijah and other household assistants in the back house or eat alone.

No one dared to speak when Reno ate, including Marisa. The woman prefers to pay attention to the interaction of Nadya and Reno.

"It's good that if you're close, at least you can quickly give me a child and Reno's parents don't make a fuss asking their children to divorce me." Marisa said.

Not much different from Marisa, Nadya also noticed the closeness of Marisa and Kevin.

"Why are you seeing Marisa with Kevin, mas?" Nadya asked herself.

"Then why did you show your jealousy to Anjas that night" Nadya said in her heart.

"What exactly do you think of me, Mom?"

Nadya again questions Reno's view of her. Moreover, the man's attitude often changes to him, sometimes soft but sometimes also painful. It makes it hard for Nadya to guess what Reno has in mind about her true self.

Finish eating as usual Nadya will help Ijah first clean the new dining table he entered his room. As she was about to enter her room, Nadya saw Marisa coming out of Reno's study.

"Nad, have you seen Reno?" ask Marisa.

"I didn't see him" replied Nadya.

"Is he in his private room?" ask Marisa.

"Personal room?" Nadya asked back because she did not understand Marisa's intentions.

"Forget it." said Marisa as she passed in front of Nadya.

Marisa forgets that she didn't tell Nadya that she and Reno slept separately. Only when Reno wants to hook up do they sleep together. It was Reno who came to Marisa's room, because the man did not allow others to sleep in his private room including Marisa.

Nadya who just found out if all this time Marisa and Reno have separate bedrooms is curious. This of course makes Nadya want to know what kind of relationship Reno and Marisa live during the household.

Next day.

"Mas, today I'm off work, but I'm allowed to visit my grandmother" Nadya said as she drove Reno to work.

"Go away, but don't use online objects. Mr. Agus will deliver you. Wait for him to come back from waiting for me to come to the office." replied Reno.

Nadya nodded, "Thank you Mas." Nadya replied with a happy smile.

Nadya doesn't know if her smile makes Reno could have executed her again tonight.

Entering the house, Nadya saw Marisa who had just woken up from her sleep into the guest room, the room occupied by Kevin who was staying at the Reno residence. Nadya did not want to bother with Marisa's personal affairs, she returned to her room to get ready for her grandmother's house.

Before leaving Nadya wanted to say goodbye to Marisa, but she did not see the whereabouts of Reno's wife.

"Bi, Bi Ijah see Marisa's mother?" ask Nadya.

"It looks like you're still sleeping. I haven't seen him out of the room." replied Ijah.

Hearing Ijah's reply, Nadya stepped into the guest room.

"It looks like Marisa's still with Kevin. Why so long?" Nadya spoke to herself.

At first Nadya did not want to care about what Marisa did in the guest room with Kevin, but seeing how long Marisa had been in that room, of course, made her wonder what the two people were discussing, why were they talking in the room?

But Nadya tried to think carefully about Marisa, "They might discuss work, they're used to both even getting out of town. Mas Reno just didn't mind it, why should I think about it." Nadya muttered.

But the voice of two people who were mingling love was clearly heard in Nadya's ear from behind the door. Nadya who had wanted to knock on the door to say goodbye to Marisa undo her intentions. He was silent at the door, shutting his mouth because he could not believe what he was hearing.
