"I'm pregnant."
Binar threw the pregnancy test kit on the table, while the man fixed his glasses. There had not been any face water emanating from his face, the man just stared at Binar flat.
"That's the fifth tool, so don't tell me there's a mistake. My period is also two months late, and you should be the one who understands what I mean the most now."
Now the man took off his glasses. Riswan Darmawangsa, chief executive of IndoGood company, the sole heir of Wangsa Group. He looked at Binar with a frowned.
"You said yourself that that night nothing happened between us, why did you get pregnant all of a sudden?"
Binar clucked, he twisted a lazy eyeball. That day he lied. Binar was too embarrassed to admit to the man that something had indeed happened. Stupid indeed, why would he want to make love to a drunk man?
"If you don't believe it already. We'll just have a DNA test after the baby comes out!"
"That's not what I mean," Riswan got up from his seat.
He walked to the sofa in the workspace, inviting Binar to follow him. Now they sit facing. Riswan looked at the woman who was still in school uniform carefully.
"Why lie to me? It wouldn't have happened if you had been honest."
Yes, Binar still remembers well. The night Riswan came to his house drunk. At that time his mother and father were busy, his parents' business trip launched the incident that night.
"Well, what can happen early? Want to give me some gynecologist?" ketus Binar's.
Riswan massaged his temple, "Rakin, you don't sleep with other men?" allegations skeptical.
The bar instantly glanced, "That's first and last! I told you, if you don't believe, we just wait until the birth!"
"It's not a matter of believe it or not, Binar! The fact that you're lying, has made me doubt the truth!" cecar Riswan doesn't want to lose.
The view of Binar was sharp. He looked at Riswan with anger.
"This is our son. That's the truth you need to believe!" repelled.
Not vigorously speaking to Binar, Riswan took a deep breath. The man never imagined that this was the end of his life.
Binar is the only daughter of her best friend, how could they make love? It kept bothering Riswan's head.
That day he woke up in Binar's room, but that doesn't mean something happened, right? Riswan really does not remember any of their fondling scenes. How can it cause pregnancy?
If this is the case, what will happen to her friendly relationship with Ned and Tria?
Again Riswan snorted heavily. He felt the atmosphere around him become so hot and stifling. Riswan's dignity had disappeared, and he again looked at Bimar who was still at his calm.
"Exit it," Riswan later said.
Of course the speech was not absent in the prediction of Binar. He expected it. The forty-year-old man who never got married, should everyone be aware of what happened to him, right?
"Coward," cried Binar. "How many women have you told me that?"
The issue that is circulating about Riswan is indeed so. Change women to satisfy their lust. Binar had heard it a lot, he poulted out of his head.
He deliberately let Riswan touch her. He was also the one who consciously allowed Riswan into the room. So, Binar was prepared with the consequences that befall him now.
"I'm trying to think about your future, Binar. Eighteen years old and want to be a mother? You're ridiculous!"
Riswan's common sense was gone when his voice filled the room. Of course Binar thought nothing but giving birth to her baby. Binar is just a teenager who has not been fully aware of the conditions that befall them.
But what about Riswan? He understands very well the situation he is facing. He has no plans to get married, let alone be interested in doing so. Absolutely not, such a life choice has never existed in the Riswan dictionary.
Riswan's mind is increasingly chaotic once he realizes that he has damaged the child of his best friend. So how could Riswan dare to have children? He did not dare to imagine if he was in the position of Ned and Tria.
Now Riswan ruffled his hair carelessly. The originally neat strands became a mess. Riswan came to an inviolable conclusion.
"Now we go to the hospital. I have a doctor's acquaintance who can take care of this matter" Riswan said firmly.
They do not need discussion or consideration. In this context, Riswan is fully responsible for what happened to Binar. If indeed Binar contains his baby, then Riswan also has the right to abort.
The man hurriedly grabbed and put on his formal suit. While Binar was still calm on the sofa while following Riswan's movements. The woman could clearly read Riswan's uneasiness, she looked shaken.
The exact same reaction when Binar found herself pregnant for the first time. He does not have an appetite, hoping that the baby can die by itself if not fed.
But the effort did not give maximum results. The activity of Binar was actually disrupted until he almost fainted. From then on Binar gave up, and he could understand Riswan's reaction now.
"I've been to the hospital before I've seen you here" Binar explained carefully.
"The baby is healthy, it's in its tenth week and her heart is beating perfectly. I came just to tell him, and even if you have no good intentions of being responsible, then my decision remains the same."
Binar threw a sharp glare that made Riswan speechless a thousand languages, "I'll give birth to him."
Bar rose from his seat. He fixed his backpack and intended to leave the room. But he once again turned to Riswan, Binar gave an affirmation that had made the man riled up.
"I'll keep it a secret from mom and dad if it makes you calm."
There's no answer.
Riswan just stared at the place while looking at the departure of Binar. Actually, what has he done to teenagers who should be surrounded by happiness? Tired of Riswan's head.
The tail of her eye turns on the pregnancy test kit. Then again a long snort when realizing a truth.
It seemed, that night had become the biggest mistake for Riswan.
Meanwhile, Binar who had reached the lobby wiped the water in the corner of his eyes. A moment of hesitation enveloped the decision he had made.
Can she be a single mother at a young age?
Maybe Riswan has a point. She was too young, and being a mother was a silly thing to do.
Binar touched his stomach while closing his eyes. Sayup-punched heart beat with a slow rhythm was echoed his ears. However, Binar cannot give up.
Because now there are lives that need their protection.
