Married Little Princess Bestie

Married Little Princess Bestie
45. Endless Regret

Finishing business? Doesn't the meaning of the command mean the same thing as Adrian? The only thing Riswan needs to solve is Rhea's matter.

Reveal old stories that are no longer talked about. A single wound that may still cause trauma on each side. Where should Riswan start?

Should he meet the woman as if nothing had ever happened? Riswan is not a person who can do that carelessly. After feeling so hurt and realizing that Greg Darmawangsa was the culprit, how could Riswan visit Rhea suddenly?

"Why face?" said Greg who passed by Riswan. A successful word made Riswan instantly speechless. "Is there time? I need to talk,"

The man carefully observed Greg, "What's the matter?" muttered.

Giving no answer, Greg took a seat on one of the living room couches. The old man looked straight ahead, ignoring Riswan who was dragging a lazy body.

Riswan's mind is in turmoil now, he has no taste in chatting with Greg Darmawangsa. Especially about business and company. Especially if it's about Binar.

"I've been thinking a lot these past few days" Greg said, "And I shouldn't have done it" he dropped his tail on Riswan, "Rhea. Sorry for doing such a heinous thing to the woman you love."

Greg took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, "Since he met me, I realized. That hurting someone is part of a long-term investment that can be any one day. He won't forgive me, of course, so I hope you accept my apology instead."

"I don't feel the need to accept the apology, Kek, to be honest," said Riswan smiling blandly, "We are all too young and put our egos ahead of all decisions."

Greg's faint smile expanded, so thin that it was barely noticeable, "He may be cunning and able to act recklessly, but if indeed you want to realize a love story that was delayed, I'm sincere. I'm ready to bless you both."

"Did you forget about Binar? She's my wife who is of Darmawangsa descent" Riswan said. What does Greg really mean by that? Could it be that the old man suddenly sided with Rhea and wanted to expel Binar instead? Or the...

Again Greg smiled warmly, "I'm very happy if you choose to stay with him" Greg said without saying anything.

Riswan. He did not expect that the rigid, stubborn, and selfish figure had suddenly turned soft. Even his gaze did not imply hatred. The old man sincerely said it.

"But are you sure Binar's presence isn't limited to an impingement?" greg continued, "If you can accept the woman without Rhea's shadow, or regardless of the fact of forced marriage caused by a one-night accident, then please. You can be on the side of Binar."

"Why does everyone say the same thing?" riswan sneered more at him, "Did I seem to underestimate Binar? Or a striped-nose man who can cheat just because of his passionate feelings for someone?"

"Yes. You always look like that, Riswan. I don't stop watching Binar either."

Riswan was silenced while Greg fixed his position. The old man exhaled still with the exact same rhythm as before. "Your reason for playing women is also because of Rhea, right? It's common knowledge that you're a prankster."

"What do you expect from my life that you ruined?!"

"I didn't expect anything, Riswan! I don't even dare to put high expectations on your marriage!" greg's voice trembled, the old man sharpened his gaze at Riswan who was panting after raising his voice.

"I deeply regret what I did to Rhea, Riswan, and I hope you don't hold any regrets either" Greg concluded.

Not directly responding to the grandfather, Riswan swallowed the saliva. He pauses the conversation, while considering a sentence that is worthy of being organized. Which regrets he was able to bear throughout his age, and which regrets were able to bring happiness.

Riswan chose and weighed the possibilities. If he really ends the snare that binds him and Rhea, then there is no possibility of them being together. Their story will run aground, the love that ever existed is only limited to painful history.

If this marriage ends now, then...

"I won't regret it, Mother. There are more regrets I have to bear if I let go of Binar. Even if in the end this heart is tethered to Rhea, committing to someone is not something I play with. I have sworn to protect my marriage with all my might" Riswan explained at length.

Yes, he could not even calculate exactly what regrets lay before him later. But taking off Rhea was a regret she dared to bear now. After all, their relationship had run aground before. So why create something that already exists?

"I've always believed in you, Riswan. May the decision be made not by excessive emotional spillover."

"I hope Grandpa receives more decent Binar. Because this decision has been witnessed thousands of times by God."

The corner of Greg's lips puffed up, "She's an amazing woman, Riswan, without the need for any kind of good treatment from me she's more than capable of overcoming all problems" Greg got up from his seat, "Say sorry if I meet Rhea, I swear I'll spend the rest of my life regretting."

"He deserves to be happy too. Please make sure she hears that sentence clearly."

"Why not just say it yourself?"

Greg paused for a moment, "I still know myself enough, Riswan. My presence must have set an old wound on him."

The sentence became the end of their conversation, leaving the figure of Riswan pecking on the spot hours later. The man was drifting on every sentence from the people at his side.

Rhea, can their meeting just end it all? Is it as simple as asking for an apology from someone? However, Adrian's sentence also greeted, adding a question to Riswan's inner niche. If he was still single and still loved Rhea without hindrance, what would he want to convey?

What did Riswan want to tell Rhea?

Regardless of apologies, regrets, or matters concerning the wounds between them. What is Riswan trying to tell Rhea who is most loved?

When Binar and their baby boy candidate are absent, How does Riswan want to end his romance with a Rhea?

Perhaps that is what I mean by finishing. Adrian, Ned, even Greg charge certainty in Riswan against Rhea or Binar. They wonder, demanding certainty before wading a longer step.

Now Riswan understands the meaning, although simultaneously he never found an answer.
