The smell of coffee pauses the conversation. The woman relaxed leaning back, ignoring the old man in front of her who was already coughing overwhelmed. The response was simple, just shaking the smoke to the other side of the room.
"Sorry, Greg. I forget you're old" he said, "When you used to be a heavy smoker. Vape gini is like asthma, Greg, overdo it."
He sipped and threw out his last gust of vape. Let it hang on the neck, leaning slightly forward. They were in the living room, a surprise visit without an appointment or warning.
"Listen, Greg. I'd rather you be on my side now" he said with emphasis.
Greg seemed to guess the meaning of each speech.
"Let me marry Riswan and get rid of the boy from the Darmawangsa family.I can take care of his son, and we become a perfect family, Greg. How's it?" continued.
The woman watched Greg from toe to head. His smile was ringing cynically considering the long history between them. In the past, Greg wasn't this weak against Rhea.
That old man was once mighty. High and arbitrary.
"After all, Riswan and I still love each other" he whispered later.
Anger swarming around in the chest made Greg hit the table, "Obony snout!" the man shouted furiously. His hands trembled, the hunting gust with red eyeballs supplementing the facial water.
Damn, Rhea laughed.
The thunder that echoed throughout the room. The woman frowned and laughed at Greg Darmawangsa's reaction.
"Why, Greg? Scared, huh?" taunted. "Riswan can give everything to me without consideration. Exclaim, right? When else would the Household Group go bankrupt just because of one woman?" cecar Rhea's.
The sin that Greg committed to Rhea was enormous. When she was young, she had nothing but a burning love for Riswan. The man who had full power over Riswan, drove him away.
Silly too. It's just because of an unclear family background. Born and raised by a broken family, Rhea was considered inappropriate to be part of the Darmawangsa family.
On the day of his engagement to Riswan, Greg sends five strangers home. Prevent Rhea from coming, and lock her up with a cargo ship to the European continent. Making it as the party that hurt Riswan, broke the heart of the soulmate.
Again Rhea laughed, "You know what I mean, Greg. I'm not a helpless fool."
He was more than powerless. As the recipient of the Wangsa Group's superior scholarship since junior high school, Greg also knew the intelligence of Rhea who was not abal-abal. The brain and the treasure had been on his side, what else if it wasn't Riswan who was his goal now?
"Don't nosy Riswan," said Greg firmly. "He knows nothing about your relationship!"
Of course, Rhea was getting worse. Don't know anything he said? Impossible! Riswan clearly knew everything.
"Oh, huh?" cynically. "Do you prefer if my revenge goes directly to you? But what, huh, Greg? You're old, don't fuck it up."
"Shut your mouth, Rhea!"
"I'm rich, Greg. My business is everywhere, and..."
"You're just a fraud! How dare you still expect status from that rotten money!" greg interrupted. "Step over my body before you approach Riswan!"
Now it is not just laughter, Rhea gave a standing ovation to Greg Darmawangsa. The woman was very happy. It's like watching a comedian stringing a joking monologue.
"That's the only condition?" asked Rhea while holding her cramped stomach. After a long time, this time he laughed so much.
A moment later, his eyes shot a sharp look at Greg. Not a single inch of his lips cornered a smile, "You think I can't do it now?"
Greg gripped the seat cushion holding in fear. He did not expect the woman to be cruel. Rhea is no longer the same Rhea.
"There's no rush, Greg. I want to enjoy it" explained Rhea, "So think about my offer to get rid of Binar. This grudge doesn't hurt much if we work together."
"Maybe it feels more like handing over a treasure to your dream daughter-in-law. The effect is more positive and emotional" he said calmly. As if that was the way he expected.
After all, the woman had devised a plan. The strategy under consideration is smooth with the consequences at hand.
Rhea is ready to win Riswan's heart. As well as taking over the wealth of the House of Greg protected desperately. What else is Rhea planning to destroy? Of course it is still a secret, which is clearly not just any revenge.
Their conversation was not finished when the teak door of the main house opened. Presenting Riswan and Binar who just returned from the dispute. Rhea confirmed the position of the body, while Riswan looked astonished at the unusual sight.
"What are you doing?" riswan asked as he grabbed the palm of Binar's hand. I hope that body language will prevent misunderstandings.
Rhea smiled sweetly, she left Greg headed to where Riswan and Binar were standing.
"Greg's grandfather invited me, Riswan. He apologized for past events. To be honest, I didn't think Greg's grandfather would welcome my return that seramah."
Of course, the sentence was delivered with a soft speech. Rhea deliberately brushed her hair trying to show off the smooth white curves of her neck.
"Oh hi, Binar," said Rhea to look away, because he did not really need Riswan's answer.
"I'm Rhea, I used to know Ned and Tria when I was dating. The world is cramped yaa.. Who would have thought you would marry Riswan?"
The binar just grimaces tasteless. He knew the woman very clearly.
"It's hard to get married to Riswan?" continued Rhea still with an enthusiastic voice, "I feel it too, he sometimes chuckles and... oh sorry, I exaggerated huh? Anyway I can't forget our relationship, Binar. We were almost engaged."
"Hopefully you're not angry" Rhea added intentionally.
Of course intentionally! It was a form of warning for Binar.
"Have you?" ketus Riswan replied, "If his meeting with Greg's grandfather please go home. Me and Binar need a break."
Thin, very thin, Rhea mimincing smile.
But the look was immediately brushed aside with a sincere smile that was wide. Rhea kissed Binar's right and left cheeks as a farewell gesture.
"Sorry to interrupt your rest. I say yes." muttered Rhea kindly, he took off Binar and turned to Riswan.
His eyes glared at the man. With a little tiptoe he grabbed the nape of Riswan to land a similar kiss.
"Don't forget, Riswan.." his sigh while restraining Riswan's movements from pulling away from there, "I won't run away and be ready to wait for you slowly."
Rhea lowered her fingers towards Riswan's shoulders, moving slowly while letting go of the kiss with a friendly smile.
He knew very well that the man's heart was still resting for him. Riswan's love is not something that can be changed easily. The existence of Binar was not at all an obstacle for him.
Deep within Riswan, there was always Rhea.
Just need a little hesitation, Riswan returned in his arms. Riswan's eyes explained everything. The day when the man was lulled to himself at the bar had answered.
Rhea was always the winner.
