They had arrived home, her mother was bathing her father in the bathroom.
" Ma, let me help you." Said Kevin.
Kevin took over cleaning his papa's body. His skin is dry and many are flaking. When she finished she handed it back to her mother, in the bathroom she dressed her mother for her father.
After that, his body was pushed into the room and moved back to the bed. Kevin helped move his papa's body. She said her body was very heavy and she could do it herself, but she could not imagine the two women in the house lifting her papa.
" Mama's going to the bakery. You keep papa here." Say her mother while peeping her husband's forehead.
" Yes ma." Jesy.
Kevin watched his mother's role. She could imagine her mother's body was no longer strong enough to lift her body.
" What time is my mom at the bakery?" ask Kevin.
" It's usually three o'clock in the afternoon, but it's quiet until five." Said his sister.
" Do you always accompany your father at home?" ask Kevin again.
" Yes, I never leave the house." Jesy said as he lowered his head.
" why? Did mom forbid you to play with your friends?" ask Kevin again.
" No, mama doesn't forbid it at all, but I'm self-conscious, if I go who will take care of papa. And anyways my friend at college all. They talk about college, where do I know about it. So instead of me being a ploy, mending I spend time at home to take care of papa." Jesy.
Kevin was sad to hear his sister speak like that. Where such a young age again likes to gather with his friends. But Jesy spends time taking care of his papa. For his parents, a pound meant a lot to them. Compared to turning around with him, in his homeland he can waste money in a day.
Not for how long there was a knock on the door. Jesy ran straight to open the door.
" Hi, Jasmin." Sapa Jesy's.
" Hi Jesy." Jasmin.
" Go in, brother."
Jasmin put his foot into the house. He did his routine to check on Mr. Hendrik.
" How's my papa doing?" ask Kevin.
" There was progress, his left hand was beginning to move, although not much but there was progress." Jasmin.
" I'll go straight to the hospital." Jasmin said goodbye to leaving.
" Sister don't drink first." Jesy tried to offer a drink to Jasmin.
" Next time." Jasmin said as he passed leaving the two brothers behind.
Outside the house.
" Jasmin wait." Kevin slightly shouted for Jasmin to stop his steps.
" What's up?" Jasmin turned her body towards Kevin, they spoke quite closely.
Kevin breathed slowly.
" I want to thank you for taking care of my family all this time." Kevin said quickly.
" Once, you don't have to say that to me. I consider your family just like my family." Jasmin said as she stepped her foot back to her car.
" Wait."
Jasmin looked back behind him.
" What's up?"
" I'm planning on taking my family with me." Said Kevin slowly.
Jasmin was shocked, he felt sad to hear that.
" Why." Jasmin's eyes were glazed.
" I feel sorry for my parents, if they come with me, mama won't bother to sell bread anymore." Said Kevin slowly.
" You're right, Aunt Paula is too tired. Why don't you move here?" ask Jasmin quickly.
" I can't leave my job and my efforts there." Say Kevin again.
Jasmin tried to keep smiling, even though she felt sad about losing her family.
" All decisions are in your hands." Jasmin said quickly.
" but." Kevin hung up his words.
" What's Kevin." Jasmin looked at the face of the man who had rejected her completely.
With a heavy heart Kevin had to make a short decision.
" Before we go, I want us engaged." Kevin said quickly.
" Kevin please don't play with my feelings." Jasmin said quickly.
Kevin nodded his head quickly.
" I'm serious." Kevin said quickly.
Jasmin's eyes glazed over, she was happy to hear Kevin's words. Then his face came back sad.
" Do you want to get engaged to me because there's a push from Aunt Paula?" ask Jasmin.
Kevin shook his head, he lied to Jasmin.
Jasmin looked happy and happy.
" Do you love me?" jasmin asked again with a happy face.
For business Kevin can't lie.
" I don't love you yet, but let me learn to love you." Said Kevin slowly.
Jasmin's face was back.
" Kevin, I don't want to bond because of the pressure. I want this relationship to work out properly." Jasmin.
Kevin was silent, he made that decision with pressure, and a feeling of guilt.
" Jasmin, I also want this relationship to work out properly, but what's wrong with us trying." Said Kevin slowly.
" Why didn't you accept our match?" ask Jasmin.
" I don't like relationships because of matchmaking. And I think it was too fast for me." Kevin said quickly.
Jasmin smiled cheerfully.
" Well, I'm gonna say this to my parents." Jasmin said as she left Kevin.
Jasmin's car had left the house. The woman left with a feeling of pleasure. Not with Kevin, he feels guilty for everything. He has lied to many people in this regard, from himself, Jasmin and Menik.
Kevin sat down on the chair while leaning his head on the back of the sofa.
" What brother?" Jesy was curious about her brother's sad face.
" Sister has told Jasmin." Said Kevin slowly.
" What does sister mean?" Jesy did not understand the direction of his brother's conversation.
" Sister told Jasmin everything, that brother will be engaged to her before we return to the homeland." Kevin said quickly.
" What did sister do? Brother has sacrificed brother's happiness." Jesy disagrees with his brother's decision.
" How else, it's impossible for you to leave you here like this. Mama has to find money to finance you guys. And you don't want to see your good times run out just taking care of papa." Kevin hugged his sister.
Jesy cried, according to him his brother is a man who is responsible and willing to sacrifice the interests of others compared to himself.
" Don't you tell this to mom or anyone." Said Kevin quietly while wiping away his sister's tears.
" Mommy will understand, sister, but what about the woman on your cell phone. What's brother gonna do." Say Jesy again.
" I don't know, you can't think until then. But brother please be with you, upon our arrival in the homeland do not you tell this to anyone." Kevin said quickly.
" Why brother."
" Sister doesn't want anyone to know about this impromptu relationship. Let this be our secret." Said Kevin slowly.
" But if there's an engagement there's definitely a wedding. What's brother gonna do, later." Ask Jesy again.
" There is an engagement not necessarily a marriage, but the opposite there is a marriage not necessarily before there is an engagement." Kevin said quickly.
" What does sister mean?" Jesy curious.
" Sister hopes that after the engagement, Jasmin will find her true love." Said Kevin slowly.
" Where do you know that Jasmin will find his true love. Not his true love brother." Jesy said quickly.
" I don't know, there's always a miracle. Brother wishes not his true love brother." Kevin said quickly.
Jesy lifted his head from his brother's chest.
" Sister, what if Brother Jasmin finds out that you don't love him." Jesy said worriedly.
" Sister had already told him to try to learn to love her. And he understands that." Kevin said quickly.
Jesy just kept quiet, he felt sorry for his brother. He sacrificed everything just to make his family happy.
