" Ma, that market is close to our housing. Walking can be." Answer Kevin.

" So you tell Mama to walk." Said his mother ketus.

" No ma, I mean that, walking can also be because the market is close from here." Kevin explained to his mother.

" Do you have the heart to let your mom get kidnapped." Say her mother again.

" Why mommy says it all the way there." Kevin was confused, according to him his mother was too sensitive.

" Where is Manek." Mumbled Madame Paula.

" What time do you want me to pick you up?" ask Kevin.

" Mama will call you again." Mrs Paula said as she got out of the car.

" Do you need my mom to be with me until she comes?" ask Kevin.

" Some time mom tried to call her number." Mrs Paula said as she took her phone.

The call was connected but there was no answer at all.

" Why ma?" ask Kevin.

" The call came in but it wasn't answered." Said Mrs Paula.

" Maybe he's on the road again." Answer Kevin.

Not long after her phone rang.

" Hello Manek." Said Mrs Paula.

" Where's mom? I'm at the entrance." Menik Say.

" I'm in the parking lot." Answer Madame Paula.

" Yes I've been there." Menik Say.

" No, let me go there." Said Mrs Paula.

Then the call is interrupted.

" Manek wait in front of the front door, you want to wait here if you want to go home first." Ask Mrs Paula.

" Old mom?" ask Kevin again.

" An hour." Answer Madame Paula.

" It's a long time." Said Kevin.

" Mom shopping for one week instead of one day." Reply mother.

" Yes, I'm home first." Said Kevin while starting his car engine and leaving his mother.

Mrs Paula walked past several parked vehicles. He could see Menik standing in front of the entrance.

" Morning Manek." Greetings Madam Paula.

They shake hands with each other.

" Who's mom here?" ask Menik.

" Oh among my children. But he came home first, ordinary boys must not be happy shopping." Answer Madame Paula.

" Who are you here with?" ask Mrs Paula again.

" Would you like to go shopping or buy something somewhere else?" ask Menik.

" Just go shopping."

They enter the market. The market atmosphere is so crowded. Because it is a holiday, many visitors shop at the market. In addition to cheap prices and more affordable, seafood and vegetables are also fresh. So many prefer shopping in the market compared to supermarkets.

" Mommy, it's the same in the supermarket here." Say Menik while walking hand in hand with Madame Paula.

" It's okay, at least the price here is much cheaper than in the supermarket." Answer Madame Paula.

Menik invites Mrs Paula to the seafood section. He taught the middle-aged woman to bid the price of fish. After finishing in the seafood section, Menik invited Mrs Paula to other parts, such as the place where the chicken was sold.

Mrs Paula tried to bargain the price of the chicken offered by the seller. Although the seller did not lower the price too much, but Mrs Paula was happy because she could do things that other mothers often do.

Menik brought Mrs Paula to the vegetable section. Menik teaches you how to process these vegetables. All in buy Mrs Paula with a fairly large portion.

" Mom, what's that for a one-week portion." Ask Menik.

" Yes." Yeah."

" Do the bule eat that much." Ask Menik.

" We don't eat Menik rice, different from you. If you guys are the carbohydrates from rice if we have potatoes and protein that we have a lot of. So one kilo of chicken for us just one meal." Madam Paula explained.

He widened his eyes.

" Well, one kilo for one meal, means one day three kilos, three times thirty days." Menik said trying to calculate the expenses incurred by Mrs Paula.

" Not counting, you'll get dizzy." Madame Paula said with a smile.

" I'm lucky I'm not a Caucasian, if I'm a Caucasian, I can only eat two weeks of fasting." Menik Say.

" What's the matter?" Mrs Puala was confused by Menik's remarks.

" My salary is not enough." Answer Menik.

" Hahaha you're so funny.'' Said Mrs Paula.

" Why don't you eat rice?" ask Menik.

" Maybe not used to it yet, but sometime I'll try to eat rice." Said Mrs Paula.

Menik saw Madam Paula's shopping cart all filled up.

" Mom, is there anything else you want to buy?" ask Menik.

" It seems like enough. If there is a shortage I will go to the market myself." Said Mrs Paula.

" Well then, mom wants me to hang out in front until mom's boy comes." Menik Say.

" No, I thank you very much for your help. Oh yes, I want to ask you again." Said Mrs Paula.

" What's wrong, Mom?" ask Menik.

" Aren't you busy tomorrow?" ask Mrs Paula.

" Tomorrow is still a holiday so I'm still free." Answer Menik.

" What's wrong, Mom?" ask Menik again.

" I want to ask you to help me cook traditional dishes. It just so happens that my friend will come from England." Said Mrs Paula.

" My friend is a real person here, he grew up here. He misses traditional cooking. That's why I wanted to surprise them by serving local food." Said Mrs Paula.

" Hemmm well ma'am, but I'm not very smart in cooking all the dishes." Menik Say.

" It's okay, I'm so grateful you're helping."

Madam Paula gave me her home address.

" Okay mom, I'm going home right away." Say Menik while leaving Madame Paula in front of the entrance.

Pulling the road to the motor park, from a distance Kevin saw Menik was turning on his motorbike.

" The manik is far from shopping." Kevin muttered as he parked his car. He hastily parked his car so he could meet Menik.

When he got out of the car, Menik's motorbike had already passed leaving the parking lot.

" Hurry up." Grunts Kevin.

Kevin walked towards the entrance of the market. He saw the figure of his mother with two baskets near the feet of his mother.

" Are you ready to buy it?" ask Kevin.

" It's been." Madame Paula said as she left her son with two baskets. Kevin lifted the two baskets with his hands. He showed his mother where his car was parked.

" Where is the woman who helped my mother?" ask Kevin while walking towards the parking lot.

" He's home, he seems to be in a hurry. Mama wants to introduce you to him but it's not good to hold him for longer." Said Mrs Paula.

They got in front of the car. Kevin opened the back trunk and put all the groceries into it.

Madame Paula was sitting right next to the wheel.

" Is there anything you want to buy again?" ask Kevin.

Madam Paula remembered something about Menik's speech.

" But you bought rice." Mother's orders.

" For what. Didn't you eat rice?" ask Kevin

" Yes, but Mom wants to try." Reply Mother.

Kevin got back out of the car and went to a grocery store that sold all sorts of groceries.

Paula won't tell her son that Jasmin and her family will come tomorrow. He wanted to surprise his son.

" Don't forget to like comments and vote, thank you."
