Chapter 23 Return to Work Together

Just waiting for tomorrow, I will receive an adventurer badge. According to the receptionist woman's brief explanation to me, I have not entered the adventurer ranking system, certainly still in the training period. To be able to become an official adventurer, at least I need sufficient contribution value by completing three different types of entry-level missions.

My body wasn't tired even though I managed to complete a few easy Quests in exchange for one to Quest Points, but I felt a little uneasy just in case I was late coming home. Ever since I arrived in this city, Quests have always been popping up a lot. This made me discover something new about the Quest.

There are times when, a Quest will simply disappear. Some of the Quests I have tagged, his intentions will be resolved when there is a chance, instead I do not find. I didn't pay much attention at first, but today I realized it.

Various thoughts raging. For almost two weeks with her, especially in the last week I dated her, I thought that Bianca was a graceful woman who was able to make the opposite sex reluctant to approach her. Could it be that behind the scenes, she turned out to be just a woman of the night?

That group of people seems to be taking Bianca somewhere. It was good enough that they had at least not committed any malicious acts against Bianca before arriving at their destination. But I won't let them do it.

With a determination to protect Bianca, Guard Will is activated.

I didn't feel like I was moving so fast, but I was able to stand next to Bianca before I even blinked. In each person's mind, the incident was too shocking to make them forget something important.

"Ugh," one of the people pushed by Shield Bash held his head. From the surprise attack, his back of his head had hit the floor of the road quite hard. But, he who saw that someone had taken away the woman who was his prey to play tonight immediately realized.

"What are you guys doing?! Go after him, you fool!!"

With my speed of movement, especially while holding Bianca, it only took me a short while before the group of people caught up here. So, I took Bianca down, and said, "Run as far as you can. If you can, go home. I'll try to hold them."

"No need," said Bianca who looked calmer. "You should be able to defeat them. After all, you who can defeat orc warriors are unlikely to lose, right?"

"Remain, Kaellan. I will also interrupt their movements. It'll be easier than imagined."
