Milaine The Heir Girl

Milaine The Heir Girl
Move Pavilion

A very impressive offer. Aleda could not control his expression. Milaine decides to hire Aleda according to the girl's ability.

"Are you serious?" ask Aleda to make sure.

"Why? Are you doubting me? Don't you need a big fee for your father's treatment? I'll give you a salary five times greater than your salary working as a hotel maid. Hows it? Are you ready?"

Aleda pinched his cheek. He thought it was a dream, apparently now he was in the real world. What's more Milaine offers about salary with an amazing amount. If this were the case, Aleda could finance her father's treatment without worrying about money.

"Before that, may I know which family you really come from?"

"Don't you know me? Rarely do hotel workers not recognize me. Well, introduce, I'm Milaine Lysander, one of the potential heirs to the Lysander Group fortune" Milaine said.

"Lysander Group's? You mean that Lysander Group?"

Milaine floated an innocent smile.

"Yes, that Lysander Group."

Aleda was in a heavy shock. Who would have thought that he was dealing with one of the prospective heirs of a domineering family in the Helsper country.

"I was very surprised. My heart almost stopped knowing your identity" Aleda said, groping her faster-paced heart.

"I thought you knew me, so I didn't introduce myself to you" Milaine said.

"I've never been interested in finding out about who the potential heirs of large companies are. All this time I was just busy working, so it's only natural that I didn't recognize you."

Milaine nodded in understanding. He extended his hand to Aleda.

"You want to work under me, right?"

Aleda received a helping hand from Milaine.

"Yes, Miss. I'm willing to work under your orders."

"Good! You can visit Lysander's residence tomorrow. I'll explain to you what kind of work you do later."

Aleda agreed, he looks happy because he got a new job under the auspices of Milaine. After that, Milaine also decided to return to the academy again because there were still further tests waiting for him at the academy.

The next day, as Milaine had said yesterday, Aleda visited her residence pavilion. Milaine explained in detail the tasks Aleda had to perform. One of his duties was to kill whoever his brother sent to kill him.

"Milaine! Milaia! Out you!"

Milaine's break was interrupted when she heard Mayra's scream from outside the room. Forced Milaine to delay a moment of quiet time to serve the annoying woman.

"What else is it? Don't be noisy in my house!" snapped Milaine, furious.

"Now you're getting brave with me. I came here to tell you to move out of this pavilion" Mayra said.

Milaine frowned while leaning on the doorway.

"Why should I get out of this pavilion? Hasn't this little pavilion been occupied by me since the beginning?"

"Now not anymore! This ugly pavilion will be rebuilt into my son's training ground. Anyway why don't you just stay in your mom's pavilion? Oh, my God, I forgot. You'll be kicked out by your mother from her pavilion."

Mayra laughs a little bit off Milaine. He really liked it from a long time ago.

"I was indeed expelled My mother and Father gave me this pavilion. So, why do I have to obey your will?" Milaine.

Milaine yawned, he underestimated the presence of Mayra at that time.

"I'm not giving up this pavilion. Better, you get out of here as soon as I get you battered," snapped Milaine, no kidding.

Mayra gritted her teeth. He was always furious every time he dealt with Milaine.

"Tell you later. I'll make you regret for refusing to leave here."

Filled with frustration, Mayra chose to leave before Milaine. He stomped his feet showing that he was really emotional because of the girl.

"I am not allowed by Mother to live in the same pavilion as her. That's why Dad told me to stay here after I got back from the mental hospital. However, Mayra said that Father allowed her to take over this pavilion. Is that true? Better, I'll ask you directly, '" muttered Milaine.

Milaine rushes to change clothes and immediately heads to Conrad's private room. Fortunately, Conrad was free so he could serve Milaine calmly.

"Dad, may I speak to you for a moment?" Milaine peeked slightly from the gap of the entrance threshold.

"Speak. I just happen to be not busy."

Milaine entered the room. There is also a Veno tidying up some documents.

"Did you really give Mayra permission to take over my residence pavilion?" ask Milaine.

"Yes, I gave him permission. He said—"

"I don't care what the reason is. That pavilion belongs to me now. Dad can't allow it without asking me, "cut Milaine, emotion.

Milaine took a breath. There was already no suitable place for him to live in the Lysander mansion. In fact, the pavilion he now occupied was the smallest and slums.

"Listen first, Milaine. I did give Mayra permission to take over your pavilion. Not that I'm not providing you with a new place to live."

Veno hands Milaine a key.

"This is the key to the middle pavilion. You can use the pavilion from now on" Conrad said.

Milaine was fixated, anyone would have known about the locked central pavilion for so many years. That place was the residence of Conrad's biological mother aka Milaine's Grandmother. During his marriage and childbearing years, Conrad forbade everyone from touching the pavilion.

"Middle pavilion? But why did you let me occupy it?"

"I decided to open the pavilion again. I let you stay there because I thought you were the only one who deserved it. Accept the key, I won't allow Mayra if I don't prepare this" Conrad said.

With a feeling of doubt, Milaine received the key to the pavilion.

"alright. Thank you, Dad."

Milaine bowed her body as she turned towards the exit. Conrad smiled faintly at the back of Milaine who disappeared from his sight.

"Why did you decide to open your Mother's pavilion, Master?" ask Veno curiously.

"Milaine's been having a lot of trouble all along. I can't protect her even if she's a girl. I want my mother's pavilion to be a protector to her. I'm sure you'd be happy if your granddaughter occupied that pavilion."

Milaine instantly moved that day to the middle pavilion. News of Milaine's move spread as fast as lightning to the ears of the mansion's occupants. Various reactions arose, but Milaine ignored the reaction.

A few days later, the academy announced the results of the exam on the notice board. Milaine was petrified when she saw her test scores.

"uh? Why are my test scores below average? What the hell is going on?"
