"Don't occasionally dabble in making me look so evil in Nigel's eyes. I'm not—"
"Don't dodge it anymore!" jolt Fiona. "I know you want Nigel's pants and sick again right? So you can get rid of Nigel. I know all your foul wits."
Fiona was furious as she pointed her index finger at Milaine. The girl just stared straight and flat at Fiona's anger. He's used to it. In fact, if he was killed that very second by Fiona, Milaine would no longer be surprised.
"As you speak what. I'm tired of arguing with you. Now I'm gonna go and take care of Nigel."
Milaine twists a lazy eyeball while turning around leaving Fiona. However, Fiona was reluctant to let Milaine go without any problem solving.
"Who let you get out of here?! I haven't finished—"
"Fiona!"
Fiona was shocked to hear Conrad yelling his name from the other direction of the field. She could not speak to see the husband coming.
Conrad's expression was not very good. He looked angry, but the reason for his anger was still unknown.
"Sir, what brought you here?" Fiona lowered her tone.
Milaine had to abandon her intention to leave. For some reason, he felt that something had happened after this.
"What are you doing here? You want to blame Milaine again and make her the most guilty person here?!" snapped Conrad.
"Nigel, explain now to your mother. Why are you even here? Did Milaine tell you to practice or not?"
Nigel shook his head.
"No, Dad. Brother didn't tell me to practice. I want to train myself. It's not the brother's fault" Nigel replied defending Milaine.
Conrad shone a sharp look at Fiona. He is really disappointed with Fiona who always blames Milaine for mistakes he did not make. Fiona was as if she had deliberately cornered Milaine and made the girl feel sad. Luckily Milaine was strong, she was not affected by anything Fiona said.
"You hear that?! You want to kill your own son huh?! How many times have I seen you like this. Why have you never changed?! You blame Milaine for the deaths of your two sons. Then, now try to kill Milaine! Kill him to vent your anger!"
Conrad's tone sounded high, cold, and laced with booming emotions in his chest. Fiona just bowed silently hearing Conrad's angry words.
"Sorry, Sir. I'm really sorry. Really, I didn't mean it that way."
With great compulsion, Fiona apologized. But he was reluctant to apologize for a mistake he felt he had never done. Milaine is aware that Fiona does not feel remorse for what happened to her.
"Yes already. From now on, if I see you scolding Milaine again for a mistake she never made, then don't blame me for giving you punishment. I'd hate it when you act so casually to your own biological daughter."
Fiona asserts Conrad's nagging. She doesn't want to get into trouble with her husband. Really, seeing Conrad speak at length like this was not something that many people were used to seeing, including Milaine.
"Dad, no more emotions. I'm okay because I'm used to being treated badly by my mom. Do not get involved more deeply because your other wife may know this problem until something very bad happens in this residence."
