Milaine took a deep breath. He also sat on the training ground. Nigel always tried not to trouble others. She felt bad because Milaine always protected her.
"Nigel, don't try too hard. You know your brother is still capable of protecting you. I promise I will seize the position of the main heir and make you comfortable living in this residence" said Milaine.
"But, Brother, I will soon be seventeen years old. That means I will join the official fight to be the heir. The murder threat that leads to me will be even more dangerous. I don't know how long you can protect me."
Nigel's expression looked bad. The look on her face was depressing to imagine how much Milaine had sacrificed all this time.
"I don't mean to doubt Brother's ability. It's just, I'm afraid something happened to Brother. I also want you to enjoy life like a teenager in general. Therefore, I try as hard as possible not to trouble Brother."
Milaine was moved by Nigel's thoughts about her. He never thought about his own life. He stayed in this residence for the sake of Nigel.
As per his promise to his late two older brothers, he would protect Nigel no matter what. But Nigel had a different idea. He chose not to be a burden to Milaine.
"Basic My Brother! You don't have to think that hard about my life. I can personally enjoy a life like this. Because what? Because I've given up my whole life to get caught up in a mess like this."
Milaine commented on the sincere smile. He really put Nigel above all else.
"I just can't take it. I've never seen Brother happy. My brother always smiles in front of me. But what happened was not like that. A fake smile and no happiness. Different when Brother was among the men who helped Brother all this time. Can you smile like that forever?"
Milaine. He was confused as to what to answer. What kind of smile? He never saw himself in front of the mirror smiling. Wh why? There was no reason for him to smile.
"Well, it turns out my sister thinks a lot about me."
Milaine rubbed the top of Nigel's head.
"Don't think too much about your brother because I can find what's best for me. Have fun and think about yourself. I just want to see you healthy and away from the threat of murder."
Both Nigel's eyes glazed over. He knows how hard Milaine's been living. It's just that, invisible from outside the burden that perched on Milaine's shoulders.
"Sister, I must have—"
"Milaine, did you intentionally tell your sister to practice?!"
Milaine and Nigel were not surprised. They already knew that the one who shouted at that time was Fiona. The woman again accused Milaine of facts that do not match her reality.
"Mom, don't get me wrong!" Nigel immediately gave protection to Milaine.
"Get out of there, Nigel! This brother of yours must be taught a lesson so that he understands what he has done to you. Don't defend him, he just wants you to be fucked!"
Fiona's anger is stirring. Milaine had expected the problem to be like this.
