Milaine The Heir Girl

Milaine The Heir Girl
Talk to Dahlia

"During your time, miss."

Dahlia showed respect to Milaine. The woman in her thirties has known Milaine for five years.

"Hello, Dahlia. Thank you for taking the time to come."

Milaine and Luke sat together at one of the tables. Dahlia had rented the bar so there were only three of them there.

"What's up, Miss? Looking from your expression, it seems like you are having a little trouble at the Lysander residence. Can you tell me now what our meeting means?"

"You are very sensitive. A few hours ago someone attacked my father. Then the man lit a short defused bomb. So, there wasn't much damage in the mansion from the bomb. To be honest, it was the first time I heard there was a bomb with a small explosive force. However, I think you know something about this," Milaine said seriously.

Dahlia remained silent for a split second until she finally made a sound.

"I do know what kind of bomb you're talking about. The bomb was one of the illegal weapons traded by Mahvan Gang."

Milaine's eyes widened. Again this is related to Mahvan Gang's organization.

"Mahvan Gang? Why are they always trying to mess up at the Lysander Group?" grouse Milaine held back the anger.

"It's possible they were paid by someone to kill CEO Lysander. Didn't you ever say before that they sent someone to poison your Dad?"

Milaine breathed heavily while scolding her painless temple.

"Yes, I also guessed it that they paid someone. Now that the situation is getting more complicated, I can't move alone anymore. So, Dahlia, I want to ask you for help" Milaine said.

"What can I do for you, Miss?"

"Please send a scout to keep an eye on my father. Do not forget to watch other big companies. Please report any kind of irregularities in as much detail as possible. I also want to ask you to send some people who can work as bodyguards in the mansion."

Dahlia propped up her chin while smilingly looking at Milaine.

"Is that all? I can provide all of that for you. After all, the people under my current orders are the remnants of the Birdella organization" Dahlia said.

"Ah, speaking of Birdella, I now have subordinates who used to work in Birdella's organization. Her name is Aleda, do you know her?"

Hearing the name of Aleda made Dahlia pause for a moment. He knows the owner of that name.

"How did you find Aleda? The girl was one level below me. His killing ability is really good. It's just that she disappeared after Lady Beatrice announced the dissolution of Birdella's organization."

How surprising! Milaine doesn't believe he got a talented killer. Luke was stunned when Dahlia explained to him about Aleda's ability. The girl who looks weak from the outside, but actually she is tough in fighting.

"Gosh, I got something really good. He worked as a hotel waitress yesterday. It's just that there's some problems going on. That's why now he works under my command" Milaine said.

"If there's Aleda, at least you can be calmer. Leave it to him to kill. You don't have to hold back from giving him orders" Dahlia said.

"Alright, don't worry about that. I want to pay you. Think of it as a payment for your subordinates. There's no way someone could work without pay."

Milaine hands Dahlia a suitcase of money. The woman who loves money will work faster if she is given enough money. His eyes immediately sparkled when he saw the suitcase filled with money.

"Then I can work extra. Thank you, Miss. Please work together from now on."

Dahlia reached out her hand, and Milaine accepted the woman's hand. They shook hands, expecting good cooperation between the two.

"I'm waiting for good news from you. If there's a money problem or I'm satisfied with your work, I can give you more than this" Milaine said.

"Yes, I will definitely make you satisfied with my work."

After meeting with Dahlia, Milaine immediately went to the hospital to see Conrad's condition. Surrounding the hospital was filled with bodyguards from the Lysander Group. It seems that hospitals are also overwhelmed by this problem. Plus the mass media flocked to know about Conrad's current condition.

"How's Dad doing? Are there any serious injuries?" ask Milaine to Gizdo.

"Just calm down, Miss. I've overcome the bleeding in the head sir. Now the state of the Master is much more stable than before."

Milaine's feelings of panic and anxiety instantly dampened. He was very worried about Conrad, fortunately Gizdo was able to handle it.

"Thank God. I'm so afraid something bad happened to you."

'Miss looks cold from the outside, but she is sincerely worried about your condition. When compared to the other children, Miss Milaine is the most sincere child towards Mister. He never expected anything in return, ' Inner Gizdo looked in admiration at Milaine.

After seeing Conrad, Milaine let go of the dominant fatigue in the body.

"It feels so fucked up."

Milaine sat himself on a bench in the hospital garden.

"May I sit here?"

Milaine's daydreams broke for a moment when a man's voice came to resuscitate him. Milaine raised his head, apparently the man was Eron Vins.

"Oh, please."

Milaine shifted slightly to the side. Eron sits on Milaine's left side. The wind at that time, opened the beauty of the girl. Eron was stunned and forgot to look at Milaine for a moment.

"Seeing from your reaction, don't you remember who I am?"

Milaine turned to look at Eron. The man who was known to never smile was surprisingly giving a glimpse of a gentle smile to Milaine.

"I'm sorry, but have we met before?" confused Milaine.

"Over, eight years ago in this hospital."

Eron showed a pink handkerchief with a duck pattern and on the edge of his handkerchief engraved Milaine's name. A shadow slammed into Milaine's head.

When Milaine was nine years old, she met a little boy crying alone in front of the nursery door. Milaine who was covered in wounds on his body approached the boy.

"This, wear. Remove your tears." Little Milaine gives her beloved handkerchief to a little boy named Eron.

"You who?"

"I'm Milaine." Milaine sat down next to Eron. "I don't know why you're sad, but I know you've just experienced the most painful thing in your life."

Eron was glued, he didn't know the girl. However, he felt the warmth from his words.

"Yes, my mother just died in an accident. My father and brother blamed me for my mother's death. I think it's your fault."

Milaine suddenly clasped Eron's hand.

"No, it's not your fault. Fate is too cruel to you. I'm just like you, more or less. However, I still want to live to prove that no matter what happens, it's not my fault."

"You're the same as me?"

Milaine smiled innocently keeping all the wounds behind her cheerfulness.

"Yes, so you don't get drawn into grief. Let's fight for a little longer. Forget for a moment that sadness is because I'm sure there's still an interesting surprise waiting for you."

Milaine remembers his first meeting with Eron. The little boy who had been encouraging when he was in the hospital was now a grown man.

"So, is that you? I didn't get to ask your name. Can you tell me your name?" ask Milaine.

"I'm Eron Vins. I've been waiting for you long enough."

Eron grabbed Milaine's hand and then kissed the back of his hand.

"I'm really grateful you're back from the asylum. I've been looking for you everywhere before. Now I can finally talk to you directly," said Eron.

"You looking for me?"

Eron nodded slowly. "You just told me your short name. I don't know which family you're from. Until when news of you appears in the media. That's when I knew that you were the woman I was looking for."

Eron stared fixedly at Milaine. Radiated from her neutral gaze, there was a deep feeling towards Milaine.

"I'm really grateful, if it wasn't for you that day, maybe I would have ended my life. You changed everything and gave me a spark of hope. At least I can still survive until this second thanks to you."
