Chapter 28 - Missing Mother

On a quiet night, Naya sat alone on the balcony of the room hugging her knees. She had no activities because Elnan had slept well in her baby box.

Without Naya realizing it, Richard apparently observed Naya from the window of her room.

"Why else would he be there nights?" murmured Richard astonished.

"That girl was very good at making me worry" Richard sneered straight out of her room. He knocked on Elnan's door, but Naya had not opened it. So upset, Richard immediately opened the door, because it was not locked at all.

"Had he not heard it. He was daydreaming like that" Richard said. He walked towards Naya. Standing in front of Naya's tiny body.

Naya sensed that there was a person standing in front of her blocking the light that was shining on her. He immediately looked up and saw who it was.

"How did you get in?" ask Naya to be astonished.

"Blame yourself for forgetting to lock the door" Richard responded.

"What's wrong with you, Nay?" asked Richard softly. This was the first time Richard had been gentle with a woman except for his mother after breaking up with his fiancee.

"I miss my mom. Can I go see him tomorrow? I promise it won't be long" Naya pleaded.

Richard, who saw sadness and longing in Naya's eyes, immediately allowed Naya. But Richard did not want to lose.

"You may see your mother, but there are conditions."

"What's that?" tanya Naya was enthusiastic.

"You should meet your mother with me, and then we go on a date together. If you don't want to, I'll never allow it."

"Okay, I agree."

Without a second thought, Naya immediately agreed to the request, the most important thing was that she could see her mother. Dating is a recent affair.

A faint smile was seen on Richard's lips. I don't know why his heart is so flowery when he thinks of tomorrow. Yes, tomorrow when he will be dating Naya. In his mind, there were already many neatly written plans.

"All right then. Go to bed, Nay. Remember you're still nursing my son. You have to take care of your body health. You should also set your sleep patterns. Because of the nutrients that Elnan receives, everything depends on you" Richard said.

The next day, Richard deliberately withdrew from his work. He left all his duties to Leon.

"Nay, did you give Elnan ASI?" ask Richard.

"Here, soon he will sleep" replied Naya.

"Good, I go down first." Naya nodded.

Arriving at the bottom, Richard immediately called Nani.

"Nani," call Richard.

"Yes, sir" said Nani who appeared from the kitchen.

"Today I'm going out with Naya. Elnan has been given ASI by Naya. Now Naya is putting my son to sleep. It's likely that I'll be out a long time ago, for that, I'm handing over the task of keeping Elnan to you today. If he cries, just warm the ASI in the refrigerator. Anyway, take care of all his needs," explained Richard at length.

"Good Sir. I'll run as you command."

"Good, you can come back, but after me and Naya leave you have to stay by Elnan's side."

"Okay, sir," answered Nani, knowing her duty.

Richard walked out of his house, he told Mr. Budi to heat his car. While waiting for Naya to get out of the room, Richard checked his phone.

There were several messages from Alex about the development of the accident investigation.

'Rick the guy we've been looking for is Rico. I just got evidence from my top detective. He got the cctv footage from the building in front of the hotel where you were staying. Do you want to go straight to the report or do we look for any other evidence?'

Richard who read the message was a bit emotional. He immediately replied to Alex's message.

"Rich, let's go." Naya's voice made Richard put his phone in his pocket. He immediately stuck out his palm, hoping that Naya would receive the offer. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Richard who was already upset became more and more upset because Naya was not sensitive.

Richard pulled Naya's hand.

"Hey, Rich why did you pull my hand? I can walk by myself."

"Shut up! From this moment our date begins. So, you have to follow all my wishes. First of all we must join hands throughout the journey."

Naya can't do anything. For the sake of being able to meet his mother, he also complied with Richard's request as long as it was still within reasonable limits.

They both entered the car. Surely Naya was sitting next to Richard, otherwise it was possible that Richard would have regained some emotion.

On the way, Naya's eyes were fixed on her hand which Richard kept holding. There is actually a different taste in Naya. This is the first time he has ever dated a man. It was also the first time she joined hands with men.

Naya felt comfortable when she was near Richard. Although, it's very annoying and all by itself. However, Naya knew that Richard was a loving person. He could see that when Richard interacted with his mother and also his son.

"Have you been satisfied to see it? Don't you want to see my handsome face?" richard's tease on Naya who was caught staring them in the hand.

Naya is embarrassed to be found out. His face caused a red tinge. He hid his embarrassment by turning his eyes to the windshield. Pretending to see the tall buildings they passed by. Seeing this, Richard became even more anxious for Naya. He immediately kissed the back of Naya's palm. Naya was shocked and looked at Richard.

"Naya, be my woman. I mean it with my words" said Richard softly and kissed the back of Naya's palm again.

"Deg deg deg" Naya's irregular heartbeat sounds.

Why is my heart beating so fast? Is it impossible if I start to like it? Don't make.

Naya didn't give any response. He was just silent and pensive.

"You can think about it. I'll give it till nightfall. After we had a date today" Richard said, focusing on driving again.

A few minutes later, they reached Naya's house. Naya got out of the car happily. Richard looked at Naya's behavior.

"Mom" called Naya while knocking on her door. The door is open. Naya immediately hugged her mother to treat her longing for her mother.

"Naya misses mom" said Naya.

"Yes, Nay. I miss you too."

A hug was released when Naya's mother saw a tall and beautiful man standing not far from her.

"Who is he, Nay?" ask mother.

"He's Mr. Richard, Naya's employer. The father of the baby Naya was raising."

Actually Richard was a bit upset when Naya again called his name as master. However, he did not want to show bad attitude in front of his mother Naya. He wants to look good, so that his mother Naya likes him.

"Come please come in, sir. Our house is very small. Sorry to make you uncomfortable" said Naya's mother.

"It's okay, ma'am," replied Richard.

She was very polite in front of my mother. Why am I always happy. It sucks!
