Chapter 77 - Goodbye to Love

There was nothing else he could hold on to right now other than the baby he contained. The man he loved, he could not hold anymore. All that remained was the remorse, heartache and love so deep in the man.

"Now we're just the two of us, son. Mama promises to make your life happy not like a mama who lives with regret," Denada said while holding her flat stomach.

"Before we begin a new life in a new place. Mama wants to end all this regret to someone who used to be hurt," said Denada who invited a conversation with the fetus in his stomach.

Denada then drove his car to the Kavindra residence. He was determined to apologize to Richard. He wanted to start his new life in a calm mood and not think about his past.

Arriving in front of Richard's residence, he was so nervous because he had not set foot in the house of the man he had hurt.

"Will my presence be accepted by him?" Denada asked as she stared at the house behind the still closed gate.

Exit the security guard Richard's house, when he saw the car that continued in front of Richard's house. The driver did not go down at all, raising suspicion from him.

"Tok .. tok .. tok ... "

The security guard knocked on Denada's windshield. Denada lowered the windshield of his car.

"Miss Denada?" said the security guard who was so surprised.

"Yes, it's me sir. Can I come in?" asked Denada expectantly.

"Awhile, I'll call you first" replied the security guard, then returned to his post and immediately called Richard on the phone.

Shortly thereafter, the security guard returned by opening the gate to Denada.

Denada breathed a sigh of relief. At least Richard could still talk to him, evidently if Richard allowed him to enter his residence.

After arriving at the yard, Denada got out of his car with misgivings. He walked to the main door. Just about to knock on the door, Richard had already opened it first. Apparently he was not alone, there was a woman beside him.

Denada wondered about the woman beside Richard.

Wasn't she the woman at the restaurant at the time? What exactly is the relationship between the two of them?

"Please enter," greeted Naya kindly.

Really made him curious. However, Denada does not want to interfere in Richard's relationship, he comes to apologize not to find out about Richard.

"What do you want to drink?" tanya Naya offered.

"Yes, yes," Richard replied while holding onto Naya's former pinch.

It seemed like that woman was a special woman in Richard's heart. Richard wasn't even angry when reprimanded like that.

Richard really did not want to remember that dark past anymore. It's enough everything. He just wants to set the future with the woman next to him.

"Are you sure?" ask Denada.

"Yes, let me just know you left me for your career" Richard replied.

That made Denada stiffen. From the way Richard spoke, Denada was sure, actually Richard already knew what was really going on behind it all.

"Alright, if you don't want to hear my explanation. I came to apologize to you. It seems like I got a reply that was worth my first action," Denada said earnestly.

"So, are you apologizing for getting God's reply? Not because you feel guilty about me?"

"Aww, sick dear. Why am I being pinched again anyway?!"

"You don't do that, he's sincerely apologizing to you. I could see it from the glare of his eyes. He looked sorry and was sad" Naya whispered to Richard.

"Maybe what you said has a point. But I really do apologize to you. All my mistakes in the past really hurt you," Denada said, squeezing her fingers.

"No need to continue anymore. I've forgiven you. I should have thanked you. Because if you don't leave me, I won't be able to meet the woman next to me" said Richard, thanking him as he kissed Naya's hand.

Richard's not his name if he can't make people jealous of his purity.

Even you are truly happy now. Where is my happiness?

"Thank you, I'm relieved now. That way I'll leave the city in peace. If I may ask, who is the woman sitting next to you?"

Richard looked to curl his brows. There is an ambiguous phrase in Denada's speech. However, he did not pay attention to it. No, it has nothing to do with him.

"She is Naya, my wife" Richard replied as he looked deeply at Naya.

With just a single look, Denada already knew that the woman beside Richard was the woman Richard loved so much. It's just that Denada doesn't know the real relationship between the two. Now he finally knows. Apparently the woman was the owner of Richard's throne of heart.

"You're lucky Nay. I hope you don't waste a man like Richard like me" Denada told Naya.

Denada was envious of the happiness Richard and Naya had seen through her eyes. The two were so harmonious, though he could see if the dominant one to love was Richard. But it is better than him who loves but is cast out.

"Then I say goodbye. May you always be happy."

After saying that sentence, Denada actually left Richard's house. He wandered the lonely streets. Then he stopped his car on a hill.

"Goodbye to love. I buried it here with the wound I got. I hope you can be happy, Nic. I will take good care of our son. Because this is all that's left of you. Let me love him as much as I love you. "
