Chapter 35 - Pamit

Naya is tired of hearing Richard's request which is always not in line with him. He was also reluctant to return the request.

Hearing Richard say the words dear, Naya's cheeks met red. Fortunately, Naya was not meeting Richard face to face. Naya also stroked Richard's hair slowly providing a comfort for Richard.

About six months ago, Richard and his family members were vacationing in a neighboring town. The holiday was planned in conjunction with the inauguration of the branch office of Kav Corp in the city. All the shows went well.

Later that night, Richard's family will move into the villa that Richard had rented. In the afternoon, Mama Richard left first because he wanted to prepare all their needs while in the villa. While Richard, Rihana, Rey, and Elnan will go after all the affairs there are resolved.

Rihana Kavindra, Richard's older sister, is two years older than Richard. Since their birth year distance was not too far away, Richard was so close to Rihana. While Rey Anggara, he is his brother-in-law who is automatically the husband of Rihana who has married his brother for approximately two years. Richard was also very close to his brother-in-law. They always help each other in any business. Whether it's in love, business or family.

Unfortunately, their closeness must be extinct because of an accident that occurred. The car was carrying Richard, Rihana, Rey and Elnan suddenly had the brakes blong and hit a roadblock made of concrete.

The condition of the car they were riding in was very severe. Almost the entire car was damaged. Moreover, the human condition that is in it, even more terrible. Richard, who was driving the car, had injuries to his head, temples, hands and feet. Rihana and Rey, both of whom had very severe injuries, kept their blood flowing into the streets. While the little baby was, he only had a small wound on his head. It seems, Rihana is trying very hard to protect her child.

Richard, who was a little aware, looked for his cell phone and immediately contacted the nearest hospital and told of the accident that happened to him and his family. After that, he tried to open the car door. He limped along in pain to head to the back seat to pick up the crying Elnan.

Even tears could not stop Richard when he saw the state of his brother and sister-in-law.

"Sister, wake up" Richard said, shaking Rihana's shoulder.

"Sir Rey, wake up. Let's help me wake up Rihana's sister, " Richard shakes Rey's shoulder.

There is no answer or answer from either. There was only a steady stream of blood dripping from their heads, hands and feet. Richard grabbed Elnan who was in his brother's arms. He kissed the little baby lovingly.

"Good one, you don't cry, baby. You need to be strong, your wounds will be treated immediately if we're in the infirmary later. Please tell your parents, they need to get up for you" Richard said, holding back tears at the little baby.

Like a miracle, Rihana opened her eyes. He stammered when he wanted to talk.

"Cad," call Rihana in his words.

"Sister? You realize?" How happy Richard was when his brother opened his eyes and called his name.

"Ka-kak cu-ma ma-u ka-u me his-ya-ngi El-nan se-per-ti a-nak kan-dung-mu sen-di-ri.

That was the word Rihana had successfully spoken

although it should be stammering.

"Sister, don't talk like that! Of course I love Elnan, because he's my nephew" Richard replied.

"Ka-kak pa-mit."

Richard wept wailing as Rihana said goodbye to him. He did not expect that his brother woke up just because he wanted to say the last sentence for him and request that Richard love Elnan like his own son.

"Niun .. niun .. niun ...."

The sound of ambulance sirens was so loud in Richard's ears. He still hopes his brother just fainted and can still enjoy life with him.

One by one they were taken into an ambulance. The ambulance came in three cars according to Richard's request.

Arriving at the hospital, Richard is treated by a doctor. All the wounds on his body were cleaned by the nurse there. The wounds were covered with bandages.

While in his little heart, he was so worried about his brother and sister-in-law, as well as the little baby. Richard was determined to get out of the nursery room with intravenous fluids.

In front of the room, Richard's mama was crying bitterly non-stop. It was as if the world would end then.

"Ma, why's mom?" asked Richard, who saw his mother sitting crying.

"Cad ... brother .. and .. your sister-in-law ... hiks ....hiks .. they are gone" said the stammered mother, crying.

Richard fell to the floor. He did not expect to lose the two people he loved. In his little heart he blamed himself.

"I wish I hadn't taken my family on vacation. If only I had told my sister and sister-in-law to leave first with my mother. I wish I wasn't the one driving that car. Maybe it won't all happen. They're still alive and they're with me and my mom and Elnan here. Everything's my fault. They died because of me. I'm the cause! Hix .. hiks .. hiks .... Everything's my fault!"

Richard started to get hysterical about the loss. He even tried to remove the infusion in his hand. However, it was prevented by a nun who accidentally saw it. The nurse injects a sedative for Richard.

"Icad .." - Richard's mom said when she saw her son blaming himself. It's sad to lose her daughter and ex. He also had to see how much his son was devastated by the accident to the point of blaming himself.

"Pa, why did papa go first to leave mama .. hiks .. hiks ... I don't think my mom can accept all these trials. It feels so painful."

The next day, the day of the funeral of his daughter and son-in-law, they were buried near the tomb of his father Richard. Helen still can't believe that she lost the person she loved two at a time. He also stared at the mound of red soil with a sprinkling of flowers on it.

While the real Richard was not allowed to get out of his ward, he insisted and asked his mother to allow him to escort his brother and sister-in-law to their final resting place. Helen allowed Richard, on condition that if he was exhausted, he would be taken back to the hospital.

Never thought before by Richard, if a farewell would be this painful. This is the second time he lost a loved one after his father was first called by God. Being in an abandoned position is painful. He had to live his life without their presence. It may never be the same again.
