Six months after that….^^^

Varo's phone is vibrating. A message from Kinasih made her lips smile happily.

Mom: Have you had breakfast?

Varo's face turned towards Kinasih. For six months Kinasih was undergoing physiotherapy to restore the function of the body Kinasih which was almost permanently injured due to an accident a few months ago.

“I'll have breakfast with Kak Amirah.”

Kinasih smiled putting his phone carefully on the table, a simple job that had to be done over and over again for six months.

A female therapist walked in, she smiled sweetly said good morning, then as usual took Kinasih to the therapy room. Varo looked closely at what Kinasih was doing. During these six months Varo and Amirah accompanied Kinasih through a long series of physiotherapy. The woman's condition has begun to improve, she can type messages in simple sentences like earlier, eat, walk with the help of a cane, and also some other simple activities.

“Wait a long time?” Amirah patted Varo's shoulder. Last night he spent time at his girlfriend Sebastian's house, after several weeks in a row with Varo in the hospital.

Amirah went into the room, he spoke briefly with Kinasih and then went back to see Varo. “Yuk eat. Your look is rotten.”

The two brothers came down from the hospital area and crossed the road leading to a minimarket near the intersection. Varo bought a shaver and some light snacks.

“See the chat nyokap to me” said Varo proudly showed off the message sent Kinasih earlier. Amirah grinned, seeing the closeness of Varo and Kinasih now, it was hard to imagine how far their relationship used to be.

Amirah secretly notices Varo's change from the first day he arrives in New York. The guy is different, he is no longer the selfish Varo that Amirah knows. Varo did not look awkward or reluctant to talk to Kinasih, making the time between them run more pleasant.

“Lu remaining how many courses for the semester tomorrow?” ask Amirah when they are inside a fast food restaurant.

“Same interns scription”

“Lu internship again dong?”

“Neg. Just brighten reports and presentations”

“Oh good, not too late means. After graduation where do you want to work?”

Varo did not reply instead devouring his food leisurely. Amirah squinted suspicious eyes. “Lu must have a plan, what are your plans? Don't freak. I'm glad to see you again in six months. Dizziness tau ngurusin your stubbornness. Where the bandwagon is not about anymore.”

Varo laughs amusedly. “Gue have same plans Bang Rava, but still secret”

“Sok very much both of you. By the way, I want to meet Sebastian to the big family”

“Ngenalin officially”

“Iya. Hmm...” Amirah raised her left hand showing off the diamond ring encircled on her ring finger. “Gue already dilamar” tell Amirah proud.

“Good. I hope Sebastian doesn't sue elu”

“Obviously! I am a valuable asset of the Wijaya family. Sebastian kayak again won the lottery pas dapetin I” reply Amirah cocky.

Varo's head nodded, but was not too interested in hearing Sebastian's proposal story that touched Amirah's heart. Varo's eyes instead stared outside the restaurant's glass wall. Heavy rain outside, making some people run looking for shelter.

Varo is not a pluviophile or melancholy when he sees a raindrop. Varo just wanted to know, what it would be like if he was now running in the rain. Was there such a pleasant sensation at that time?

The word that came back flashed in Varo's mind and explained his current feelings.

“Lu itself how?” tanya Amirah snapped a hard finger to disperse the daydream of Varo.

“Lu have a girlfriend? Hah, definitely not. You haven't been able to move on from who was the last girl I met? Arin, Arini, Airin” reflect Amirah chatty. Although never told, but Amirah knew all of Varo's boyfriends from Putra who were given additional duties to monitor the movements of his youngest sister.

“Arini” Varo correction.

“Ya it. You must still be thinking of him, right? So don't be reckless, let the girl not run. Kayak Dimas tuh kalem.”

Varo spontaneously grinned, if Amirah knew all along what line of women who cried heartbroken because of being a victim of PHP from Dimas, he might pull back his statement earlier and choose to use the name Bima as an example. Although Bima has never dated, but the guy belongs to the category of calm when dealing with girls.

“Gue no kok”

Amirah sneered in disbelief. For the affairs of girls, Varo was like a young version of Rava who was never satisfied keeping quiet with one person. Until then Rava met Lindia, only then he began to stop to anchor himself from one heart to another.

“Which other girl did you deceive?”

“Gue is nothing. This time I am serious, I also plan to recognize to mama” replied Varo calmly.

Amirah's expression instantly changed, her forehead wrinkled scrutinizing Varo's facial features. His sister looks very serious with his words, making Amirah sure Varo just got money from the universe.

“This time is really serious huh?” ask Amirah to make sure. Varo nodded. “Crazy! Don't you get a pellet! Ever vomited a nail?”

“That's a big deal”

“Kalo so fit to drink, ever no hair?”

Varo rolled both his eyes, lazily answering Amirah's question. He gulped down his drinking water, ignoring Amirah's astonished gaze as if Varo had just said a brilliant idea to reduce Indonesia's unemployed population.

“Wah, I'm curious about girls.” Amirah propped up her chin still staring fixedly at Varo. “What do you like about this girl, until you feel sure to recognize her to mama?”

“Not anything specific. But I am happy every near him” replied Varo honestly make Amirah laugh.

“Aircraft Bang Rava arrive what time?” asked Varo to change the subject. She did not want Amirah to see her big smile as they continued to discuss Olivia.

“Kalo no obstacle, Bang Rava must have stood in front of the hospital door at three in the afternoon. If it's too late, I fight a year”

“So a hobby girl really fightem”

“Yes than me hobby free head person ngaret?” kilah Amirah. “What are your girls doing now? You don't need to change the subject. My curiosity is high, until I am not satisfied, you will keep me wondering.”

Varo snorted, his brother was indeed entered into the first place in the list of the group of people who most want to know the affairs of others, especially the affairs of Varo.

“Ngak. Wh why? Want you to be with Sebastian?”

Amirah laughed amusedly pinching Varo's arm in anxiety. “Don't because he's why you want to go to New York.”

Varo nodded honestly. Now Amirah understands, the girl is not just a passing person in the life of Varo, she has something that makes Varo captivated and seemed to bend his knees before him. The fact that Varo arrived in New York due to the girl's influence is already a sign that he managed to melt Varo's frozen heart.

“Return Indonesia directly to meet?”

“Iya. Directly I married if need” nod Varo cuek.

“Crazy! Lu tuh's lecture was completed.  Look out if you do not graduate this semester, I ask the vice president to call you at DO.”

Varo did not reply, he just smiled faintly and finished his meal in silence. Although deep down, Varo is blasting happily, impatiently waiting for the date of his departure back to Indonesia to arrive.
