Chapter 31: The Sok Jago

On a clear morning Roy drove his car to the Wardhana residence. He will report the situation of Ravendra who since yesterday was always worried by Mrs Felicia.

"this one lady is strange, her son used to live abroad she is not so worried about him, but at this time why he is so worried, even though his son is approaching a girl!" roy smiled when stuck in traffic.

Seeing his best friend is making an approach to make himself happy, he also knows Alindya who he thinks is a good girl and deserves to be with Ravendra, he said, compared to Amara which is clearly seen from the beginning he approached Ravendra only for his own sake.

In the midst of a shitty traffic jam, Roy's vision suddenly captures a pair of lovers who are very annoying for him too. Kaivan and Amara are also in a traffic jam, the car they drive right next to Roy's car.

"why should I meet this couple!" roy said when he found out Amara was in a Kaivan car that was visible from behind the car glass.

It turns out Kaivan also realizes that the car next to him is the car of Roy, their high school friend.

"hey, isn't that Roy, Ravendra's best friend? I remember the car!" exciting Kaivan.

"yes, it's really his car. What do you want him?" amara looked at Kaivan.

"you'll see, put your seatbelt on properly!" kaivan smiled cynically.

Soon, the streets returned to normal. Roy is still casually driving his car on the streets that seem to have started smoothly regardless of the existence of Kaivan and Amara.

But Roy was surprised when the Kaivan car was at a distance close enough to his car.

"astaga, doesn't he know who else?" Roy smiled sinisterly as he stepped on the gas pedal.

As Roy's car drove away quickly from Kaivan's car, it made Kaivan feel more challenged, he also immediately stepped on the accelerator following Roy's car.

Roy and Kaivan follow each other, they both fight with each other's speed until finally Roy who understands the road also has the idea to be free from Kaivan which is very annoying for him.

Roy was still in the lead when he was about to approach the red light, Roy stared intently at the number near the sign.

Roy continues to step on the accelerator, he overtakes several vehicles that block his path, no matter how many times he gets a curse.

Until a scream was heard in Roy's car just as he made it past the traffic sign because after that the red light was lit and made Kaivan could not chase him back.

"wouh. Eat the red light, chase me if you can!" roy shouted in his car.

In the past when he was in college, Roy often participated in races with his friends and he was always the winner until approached by many girls, but among them there is nothing that catches Roy's attention and finally until now he is still alone added with his busyness that makes him not want to establish a relationship if it finally makes his partner still feel lonely because Roy is always busy working.

Kaivan's car that was held back by the red light made him feel annoyed, he stomped his feet while saying. "Damn it, it turns out he's great too!"

Kaivan's words tickled Amara to answer her annoyedly removing her seatbelt violently then staring at Kaivan's face full of anger because it had wasted her time.

"Who is he? wasn't it when High School he was just a normal kid." Kaivan is arrogant when he belittles someone he thinks is nothing at the same school he used to be.

Indeed, when High School Roy used to be a child who did not have too many advantages, he only became close friends Ravendra and never seen to make trouble.

"he was nicknamed devil of street because he never lost a race" said Amara who had a University with Roy.

Hearing the new reality in his knowledge made Kaivan stunned, he looked at Amara sharply.

"Why didn't you talk about it?" "You don't ask before you act!" Amara rolled her eyes lazily.

In a different location, Roy was laughing at Kaivan who was not seen by him. "You don't like to demean people!" A cynical smile fell on Roy's lips as he stared at his rearview mirror.

The journey to the Wardhana residence without feeling he passed so quickly, now he has arrived at the door of the house that is always open to him.

His arrival was greeted so warmly by both of Ravendra's parents because they had considered Roy to be part of the Wardhana family, given his proximity to Ravendra and also Roy's parents who had left him to Mr. Arif before having an accident that claimed the lives of both.

From a distance also looks a girl who notices every move Roy with a sweet smile because he has long admired the figure of Roy humorous and beautiful face.

"how's Ravendra doing?" ask Felicia's mom.

"oh he's fine, even now he's getting closer to the girl!" obviously Roy.

"good then, it means our plan is going well!" sahut pak Arif.

Felicia's mother breathed a little relieved when she heard from Roy, but she still felt worried when she remembered her only child.

Felicia's mother recalls the past loss of her first child after she heard the news that the perpetrator who had lost her child's life would soon be out of custody. Roy and Arif's eyes were on Felicia's mom, and they both stopped talking and turned to Felicia's mom.

"What are you thinking?" Mr. Arif rubbed Felicia's shoulder gently.

Mr. Arif is not willing to see the woman he loves most shed tears, firmly he strengthens the heart of Ms. Felicia. Mr. Arif took his wife's body into his arms and gently stroked Felicia's hair. "You don't have to worry, I'll make sure our son is okay!"

"what if my Ravendra teaches martial arts just in case there's something we don't want!" roy gave advice.

"i would also like to suggest such, but Aki is not sure of Ravendra's body being so weak, moreover she is also afraid of seeing blood despite her own blood!" sahut pak Arif with his confused face.
