Chapter 33: In Danger

The two boys seemed to be hugging each other in a room that had only a little light. Rafael continues to hold tightly to Ravendra's body which is so frightened, they have never been far from home where it becomes the safest place for them.

"I'm sorry, brother! If you didn't ask you to leave school without telling mom and dad first, maybe we're not here."

Ravendra who had shed tears could only nod his head after hearing the elder brother's words.

Shortly after, Karina who had just finished talking to Arif through her mobile phone was back to meet Rafael and Ravendra, Karina brought two dishes filled with food for them.

"Eat! I don't want you to die this fast. I still want to play games with your papa." Karina grinned after putting the food plate in front of the two children.

Karina went back outside and did not forget to lock the door again. After Karina's departure, Rafael invites Ravendra to eat.

"Let's eat! we're gonna need a lot of energy to get out of this place. You should be excited if you still want to meet mama and papa!" Raphael took the plate in front of him and devoured the rice and the side dish.

Ravendra was still silent, as a child who still likes to choose food, it took a lot of time for him to be able to eat food given by Karina.

"i want to eat my mama's cooking!" ravenda said with a soft.

"eat, we don't even know how far it is from here to the house. eat quickly, rather than you starving to death!" rafael said a little upset.

Hearing the elder brother's words, Ravendra quickly devoured the food in front of him.

While Mr. Arif who at that time his company was starting to crawl up after being married to Mrs Felicia, seemed confused in his office after getting a call from Karina.

How not, Karina who turned out to be the ex-lover of Mr. Arif threatened to eliminate his two sons, Mr. Arif, if not return to him.

Karina is still obsessed with Mr. Arif even though she already has a husband and a son, he who does not accept when he knows Mr. Arif prefers women who are betrothed by both parents compared to him.

For the safety of his loved ones, Mr. Arif made a plan with the help of the authorities. After speaking to Felicia's mother, Arif rushed to the police station and told her everything.

Karina who does not know if Mr. Arif is making plans seems fun to torture the two children of Mr. Arif. He entered their confinement room and watched their faces one by one carefully, reaching first Rafael's face.

"You have a face exactly like your father!" Karina raised Rafael's chin slowly.

Then he turned towards Ravendra who seemed to continue looking down in fear.

"Hey, show me your face!" Karina raised Ravendra's chin violently.

Ravendra and Rafael have different faces even though they are sisters, Rafael has the exact face of his father while Ravendra has the shape of a face like his mother.

"You look so much like that woman, I'd better eliminate you first because I hate this face!" Karina gripped Ravendra's chin firmly and threw him on the floor.

Without any guilt, Karina left the room just like that. Rafael rushed to Ravendra who fell to the floor, Rafael panicked when he saw the left temple of Ravendra who was injured due to hit the floor with a rough surface.

Rafael swiftly put Ravendra's head on his lap. "Ravendra, did you hear my voice?" Rafael patted both of Ravendra's cheeks when he saw her shut both eyes.

"I hear your voice, brother! it's just that my eyes are a little blurry, I can't open my eyes." A smile on Ravendra's face made Rafael breathe a little relief.

Seeing Ravendra continue to bleed, Rafael grabbed his backpack which contained his t-shirt. He tore the shirt to make it as a bandage to cover Ravendra's wounds.

Rafael lays down Ravendra's weak body and uses his backpack as his head pad. "You rest, I'll find a way out!"

Ravendra just nodded his head slowly, then closed his eyes again hoping that the pain would lessen slightly as he fell asleep.

Rafael who tried to find a gap to get out of the room was made confused because the only way out was only the entrance of Karina's entrance, the window in the room was too high for a twelve-year-old like him to reach.

Amidst his confusion, Ravendra opened his eyes and called out his name. "Sister, there seems to be no other way out, but I have an idea."

Ravendra, lying on the floor, wakes up to help her brother, and plans an idea to escape when Karina opens the door.

Now they were sitting by the door waiting for Karina's arrival.

"Are you ready?" rafael asked looking at his sister's face which still looked weak.

"I'm so ready! I miss papa and mama." Said Ravendra clenching his hand.

Shortly after the door opened, Karina was surprised when she looked into the room and found that there were no children. Karina stepped into the room, and Rafael and Ravendra walked slowly through the door.

But not as easy as Ravendra imagined to be able to escape just like that. Karina quickly looked at the door and saw Ravendra running after Rafael.

"Hey, you!" yell Karina.

Ravendra who was still feeling limp continued to run behind Rafael. Karina saw Ravendra who was close enough to her also pointed a knife towards Ravendra. "I'll just finish you off now!"

Raphael, who saw his brother in danger, approached and hugged Ravendra, hoping that the knife would not hit his sister. "Ravendra, lookout!"

Rafael hugged his sister's body tightly until they both fell to the floor, Karina was surprised because the knife she planned to attach to Ravendra was missed and hit Rafael's waist.

"You okay?" rafael asked, looking at his sister's face.

Ravendra was surprised to see a lot of blood on Rafael's waist which made it difficult to get up.

"Sister!" ravendra shouted moving Rafael's head into his lap.
