Chapter 8: Owe To An Affair

The sky in the morning seemed bright, but not as bright as Alindya's heart. He was still lying on his bed with a blanket covering the tip of his head to the tip of his feet, it felt so heavy for him to start the day.

The sound of the open room door was not heeded, until the sound of the brother's deafening scream.

"Alindya... wake up! it's noon, don't you want to go to college, huh?". Alice pulled a blanket that she thought was the sister's head but it turned out to be a leg.

"Geez, how is this sleeping girl? let's get Alin up!". Alice again opened the other end of the blanket and pulled Alindya's hand.

"Sister, what the hell is noisy know!". Alindya covered her head with a pillow.

"mama.. Alindya doesn't want to wake up! should I flush him with ice water?", cried Alice.

Alindya who was afraid of being doused with ice water immediately woke up and ran to the bathroom without cleaning the blanket she threw on the floor, Alice could only laugh to see her sister who ran away in fear.

After making sure her sister was awake, Alice returned to the dining table to continue her breakfast. "mama, aunt Alin do not flush ice water, kasian mama!", rasya cried Alice's three-year-old son.

Alice smiled looking at her son who cared so much for her aunt. Alice did not have time to answer, Alindya suddenly came in the middle of a family breakfast event.

"That's a cry, brother! his son is very dear to me. Thanks to you dear". Alindya kissed Rasya's cheek and sat down next to him.

"have you taken a shower? Not that I just entered the bathroom, now I'm here" asked Alice in surprise.

"Well, ideally, how long does the shower take? make me take a quick shower or take the same old shower". Alindya answered as she smeared her fresh bread with peanut butter.

Mr. Bagaskara and Ms. Arumi who saw the behavior of her daughter could only shake their heads.

But the attention of Arumi's mother was fixed on Alindya's eyes, even though today she was wearing glasses Arumi could see if Alindya's eyes looked careless and made her ask Alindya's condition.

"you've been crying all night?", asked Arumi.

"I went to college first, it looks like I'm late!". Alindya got up from her chair carrying two loaves of bread.

After shaking the hands of both her parents and her brother, Alindya left without answering her parents' questions.

Meanwhile at the Wardhana residence, Ravendra looked neat with a black suit that adds to his wife, he walked down the stairs to his parents who were eating breakfast.

Mr. Arif looked at his son who was enjoying his bread, his gaze as if full of hope.

The atmosphere suddenly felt silent as they finished their breakfast each with different thoughts.

"I'm done, I go to the office first". Ravendra got up from his seat leaving his parents still eating breakfast.

When Ravendra had left for the office, Mrs Felicia who had heard Mr. Arif's story about Ravendra's lover made her furious and wanted to immediately separate them.

"what is your plan to separate them?", asked Felicia.

"i didn't plan anything, but I made sure that the girl can't use our child anymore" replied Mr. Arif with a break.

The journey to the office that takes time in because the morning streets are always jammed has been through Ravendra, now he is preparing to do a meeting.

"make sure the room is clean and there is no dust!", exclaimed Ravendra before entering his study.

Ravendra steps that every morning make employees feel as if their breath stops for a moment, those who have not tidied up their workbench will definitely get a reprimand from Ravendra because his eyes are so observant to see the small things that feel messy.

On the one hand Amara felt annoyed to Ravendra for giving a card that had been blocked, on the other hand he also thought about the purpose of the sentence spoken from Kaivan, which was also, as if having an intention that would utilize him.
