“It's not as good as you think, Zalfa! Don't assume this is an easy thing,” Arkhan said without turning to the face of Zalfa sitting by his side.
“You're not a coward who usually runs away from mistakes, are you?”
Arkhan glanced at Zalfa at a glance, but gave no answer. When the gunshot finally sounded, Zalfa screamed and covered his ears.
“What is it?” Zalfa screamed hysterically as she looked at Arkhan with a terrified look.
“You heard that? They're dangerous. It is not time to stop the car. This is the only way to our safety.” Arkhan's concentration drives. Occasionally glancing at the rearview mirror stared at the chasing car, already some distance away.
Shots from behind were heard until finally the car they were riding on turned left and right. Arkhan was forced to stop his car.
“Ban car shot. Come down!” Arkhan opened the car door on Zalfa's left side and pushed the girl's body out so they could move quickly out of the car. Arkhan pulled Zalfa's arm and led him running towards a building. If Arkhan had not taken Zalfa, he feared that Zalfa would have run in different directions, causing them to split up. That wouldn't be good for Zalfa's safety.
The words of takbir continued to flow in Zalfa's heart in great fear. The sound of a real shot made it seem like it had been on the verge of death. No one dares to face death unless his faith is perfect. Zalfa could only follow Arkhan without being able to act. Since he was aware, breaking away from Arkhan would only lead him to meet a fate that might be even worse.
Arkhan pulled Zalfa's body into his embrace as the next shot was again directed. If Arkhan were to pull Zalfa's body too late, the bullet would have hit the girl's back. Arkhan's face grimaced a little, he took Zalfa to turn to the side of the building.
They walked a long dark hallway. It seems like the building has not been used for a long time. Arkhan turned and Zalfa could only follow. Arkhan's head turned around and looked at the conditions around. Shit, they're stuck in a dimly lit room where there's no more exits. Visibility is really limited. Only light from outside through the vents becomes illuminated.
Arkhan was about to exit the room, but the two men in black suits who were chasing were already at a distance of three doors from where he stood. Both men carried firearms.
Arkhan was forced to retreat and return to his original place. His eyes are looking. Where should he hide? If only he had been alone, he would not have found a place to hide like he did now. Perhaps he would choose to face the two missiles in his way. But now there was Zalfa beside him, who inexplicably made him feel burdened and demanded to protect. The girl, I don't know, just looking into her eyes made Arkhan feel the need to protect her. Now Arkhan only realized the location of his weakness.
The clattering of shoes that stepped closer, making Arkhan more confused to hide where. The two gunmen finally entered the room where Arkhan and Zalfa were hiding.
The two gunmen found no one there.
