Zaki enters a minimarket. During the drive, his throat was dry. He wants a cold drink. Zaki took two bottles of bottled drinks in the cooler and queued at the cashier for payment. He placed two bottles of the drink on the cashier's desk just after the queue in front of him had run out.
“This is all, Mas?” Ask the cashier while receiving the bottle that Zaki handed over.
Zaki did not answer. His eyes are now focused outward. Through the clear glass that became the barrier, his view can look outside. The forward tooth was walking past in front of the minimarket while igniting a cigarette.
“No, Ma'am!” Zaki ran out leaving the bottle of drink, making the cashier gawk. Fortunately, his groceries were counted on barcode scanners.
Zaki followed the young man who was walking while smoking. The man turned to the side of the minimarket building, there was already someone waiting while playing guitar. The forward tooth sat on a wooden chair approaching the man who was strumming the guitar.
Zaki observed from a distance. His forehead frowned at the back of the man who was strumming the guitar while singing. Pe De once he sings though the birds are fluttering away at the sound of his false voice. The posture of the man who was strumming the guitar was familiar to his eyes. Even the shape of his serene head was also familiar to Zaki's eyes. But who is he?
Intrigued, Zaki finally decided to approach the man's sitting position. He must know who the perpetrator of the gang before the curiosity disappears and he is careless to not take care of the ridiculous thing.
Zaki pulled the shoulders of the man playing the guitar, turning ninety degrees until their faces were facing.
Faiz.
“So he's your friend?” Zaki pointed at the tongos tooth with his chin. “Are you satisfied after ganged up and made me sprawl? As bad as your revenge on me?”
Faiz was silent, his eyes staring at his former lecturer expressionlessly.
Tongos looked at Zaki with a paled expression. This time he was scared because they were just the two of them. Zaki's tall and dashing body makes him realize that Zaki is not his opponent when he is alone.
“I could've rotted you in jail. Your behavior towards your lecturer is beyond measure. Is this the behavior of an educated student? Your behavior is just like those uneducated?” snapping Zaki while tightly gripping the neck of Faiz's shirt.
Faiz scolded, not one bit he looks daunted. Even his face was the same, expressionless.
Zaki caught Faiz's different gaze, the look of the eyes was friendlier, without anger.
“I'm no longer a student, sir. Maybe you already know that. And maybe you are right, my behavior reflects an uneducated human being,” Faiz said. “I admit I am emotional, I am angry because after dealing with Mr. Cyra reported me to the dean until I was expelled from campus. Cyra did that because she wanted to defend you. He assumed I was the one who had reported the video to the dean. But I realize now, if the violence that I did to the Father, did not produce anything for me. Just the satisfaction I got but did not result in any changes.”
