Zalfa stared at Faisal and Arkhan. Faisal was still standing in his original position, near the car. While Arkhan stopped his steps when he realized there was a man other than himself who wanted to meet Zalfa, he was glued to the middle of the courtyard and looked at Faisal who was now also staring at him. The two stared at him with questionable eyes.
“So when do we start learning?” elijah asked Zalfa to lose the two faces he should have been looking at because he had to look at Elijah.
“Mm. Uh, the day after,” replied Zalfa.
While Faisal and Arkhan were still exchanging glances. Faisal stepped forward, not approaching Zalfa, but rather approaching Arkhan. Arkhan was quietly waiting for Faisal to approach. Now they stand facing. Only three swoops of distance remained until Arkhan could feel the coarse gusts of Faisal's breath, indicating Faisal was agitated and worried. Instead, Arkhan looked calm.
“You Arkhan?” faisal asked though he should not have to ask who the man was, because he already knew that the man before him was Arkhan.
“Yes. Do you have to be with my wife?” ask Arkhan.
“Slight.” Faisal's expression grew increasingly agitated looking at Arkhan's figure. It is only fitting that Zalfa can move to another heart, because it turns out that the man who shifts his position is really perfect. As a man, Faisal recognized Arkhan's perfection, ranging from physical, material, appearance, nothing was flawed. His opponent really caught his attention. There is a feeling of inferiority even though he tried to defeat that feeling by causing confidence as much as possible. Viewed from any angle, Arkhan looks perfect. Even from a straw it will still look attractive. Jesus, unknowingly Faisal praised Arkhan's good looks. He began to be pessimistic. Can he compete with a man as perfect as Arkhan who has clearly now won Zalfa?
The conversation of the two men was heard to Zalfa's ears and the woman looked at him carefully.
“Do you let me talk to your wife for a minute?” faisal asked with a trembling voice.
“Yes, speak! Just a moment, right?” arkhan replied lightly as if without any burden.
“You know who I am not?”
“You're his ex, and I've already said it.”
“You don't mind?” Faisal wanted to know how much of Arkhan's jealousy was.
Somehow Zalfa's feelings raged on hearing Arkhan's confession which was so light as to allow Faisal to meet him. Yes, Zalfa was struck by Arkhan's calm and cold demeanor. Arkhan should be jealous, right? But that's not what Arkhan showed. Why did Zalfa feel so disappointed seeing Arkhan's attitude? Arkhan's indifferent attitude and showing without jealousy, made Zalfa become restless and upset. Does that mean Zalfa hopes Arkhan will be jealous of him?
Faisal stepped closer to Zalfa. When the man stood before Zalfa, Zalfa looked at Elijah. “I will definitely meet you when I have time to teach you how to paint. Now is not the right time.”
“Alright,” replied Elijah a little sewot because disappointed. “I'm home.” He waltzed off to Arkhan's car.
Zalfa looked at Elijah who entered the car with Arkhan, then the car drove away from the house. Zalfa's heart throbbed at Arkhan's passing. Even the man left while he was being met by his ex.
Zalfa's views now collide with Faisal's.
“Zalfa!”
“Ya?” Zalfa slightly raised his face to reach Faisal's face.
“I want to ask you a lot.”
“Ask aja.” Zalfa's voice sounded trembling. His mind was now only on Arkhan. Zalfa was very confused about himself. While he was with Arkhan, his mind kept on going to Faisal. And when Faisal was around him, his only head was Arkhan. Okay, Zalfa wants to follow his inner voice. Who really rules his heart now.
“Zalfa, I was stranded on a small island and a remote area that was untouched by electricity. It's very dark when night falls, away from the city, far away and isolated. My leg was broken and I couldn't move. During the healing process, I remembered you, remembering our marriage. I'm stranded. I fell in the remote area. I lost my phone. I can't contact anyone. I'm really alone. How can you marry that man? Is that fast my name is gone from your heart?” Faisal spoke with a sad look.
