The guard opened the room door slowly. Today he came home much earlier than usual. His eyes scoured the room looking for Nadin. He also did not see Nadin in the living room or kitchen. So, Guards think Nadin must be here.
The Guards faintly heard the sound of crying. The door to the bathroom closed. Garda was sure of the origin of the sound from inside the bathroom.
Near the white door. Sure enough, the sound of crying he heard was becoming clearer. And the Guard knows it's his wife's voice.
Without a second thought, the unlocked white door opened. Inside Nadin who was sitting on the floor hugging his knees turned his head. Nadin's red face looked at the Guard with a surprised look.
While Garda's eyes sharpened saw a sharp object lying near Nadin. The man approached Nadin with a hardened face.
"I told you you don't need this stuff anymore" the Guard said firmly.
The man immediately pulled Nadin's body into his arms. Nadin's upper body which was only covered in a bra was directly in contact with the Guard's burly body. At that moment, Nadin's tears were heard again.
"I'm afraid Mas Dana is staying with me" Nadin fought on the sidelines of his cries.
Garda rubbed Nadin's plain back gently. Choose silence because he knows at this time his wife only needs a good listener.
"I can't be the daughter-in-law of Mas Dana's mother. I'm afraid Mas Dana lives in me. I don't go to college, I don't work, I just hang out with Dana."
Nadin's cry hardened along with the overflow of his emotions. The jaws of the Guard began to harden. He obviously did not accept his wife thinking that.
"I want to keep the same with Dana. I want to be with Mas Dana forever" said Nadin in a soft tone.
The girl was getting closer to the Guard's body. There is a fear of loss that continues to torment Nadin. He was scared and claustrophobic at the same time. Nadin needs a diversion for his fears.
"I only have Dana. No one can accept me but Mas Dana. I just want to be with Dana. Please continue to keep me, Mas," said Nadin with a roaring cry.
"I will continue to be with you Nadin" said the Guard calming.
The guard gave some kisses on the top of Nadin's head. His hand continued to gently rub his wife's back. Trying to give Nadin the sense of calm he needs.
"Mas," called Nadin who had started to calm down a little.
"Yes" answered the Guard.
"Umma and Abah never cared about me" Nadin argued. The girl slightly distanced her body. Looking up to be able to look at the Guard's face that felt soothing.
A chance to improve his sitting position. The Guard immediately changed his position to cross-legged. Just lift Nadin to sit on his lap with his legs open.
"The story, mas, dengerin," said Garda continued to hug Nadin's body. The Guard was able to pick up on the signal that Nadin was ready to share his pain. Nadin placed his head on the shoulders of the Guard. Carrying his face towards the Guard's astonished niche.
"Mas Dikta was a diligent and sintered man. So Umma same Abah love very much the same Mas Dikta," said Nadin began his story. The story he always felt and kept to himself.
"It was then that I wanted to be a doctor. But, because there used to be economic limitations, so Abah could not go to medical school" said Nadin with a fairly slow voice. Fortunately, Nadin's mouth was right near the ears of the Guard. So the Guard can hear quite clearly.
"Because Abah can't be a doctor. Abah wants his children to be doctors according to his dreams first. That's why since childhood I was the same Mas Dikta always demanded to be a pinter. Every day should always be learning and learning."
"But I can't, Mas," said Nadin lirih. "I don't like to learn. I don't want to learn. Umma used to be the same Abah forced me to continue. But I don't want to, I want to cook just as playfully." The girl spoke with passion. It was as if I had only one chance to speak.
"Mas Dikta is very similar to them. So Umma same Abah sanyang very same Mas Dikta. Dikta is like a king in my house. Whatever you want is always there. Whatever you need is always there. Umma same Abah too focused same Mas Dikta. I don't think I got anything from them."
"I love cooking from the past. I like to help Umma in the kitchen, but instead get scolded," Nadin fights like a child.
Garda is good listeners. The man rubbed Nadin's back without interrupting his wife's words.
"Do you know why we moved?" ask Nadin.
"No," answered the Guard briefly.
"We moved so that Umma and Abah could continue to dampingin Mas Dikta who received college there. He is so much like his favorite son. I was crying, not wanting to move. But Umma just as Abah doesn't care. While it's up there I have to stay with my grandmother."
"Why should I stay with my grandmother?" ask Garda.
"I'm, right, the count of changing schools. But the school that still decets the house does not match Abah's wishes. I was told to go to school in his area, grandma who was the same way Abah wanted."
"I really did get thrown away. I don't feel unenviable. Moreover, Umma same Abah rarely play there. I feel more and more like my family. I've always dreamed and rasain my own stories because they don't have time for me.
Nadin was taken for a moment. The woman took a deep breath before starting a new ceeita.
"This is what makes me mentally really broken, Mas," said Nadin afterwards.
"What?" ask the Guard remained in a calm voice.
"There is a neighbor grandmother the same age as Mas Dikta," said Nadin pause. "From the beginning I went to the grandmother's house the man liked the same old me. At first I didn't think strange. I was only 10 years old at the time. So I don't have any bad shadows."
"He's what you are!?" ask the Guard who is already convinced something is happening.
"At that time I was invited to go home from school. I want it because of its position again. Uh, instead of being sent home, she was taken to her house."
"I was invited to enter with him. There was nobody at home. He said he was told to keep him for a while because his parents were leaving. It was ordinary at first, Mom. But he held me for a long time."
"Hold you!?" ask the Guard not to accept.
"He held my hand at first. But that abis went nowhere. I volunteered, but he said he just wanted to check on me. He said to do college work." Garda's face began to be heard Nadin's voice.
"I believe it because it's a taboo as much as it is. Umma same Abah also never said or taught me about such things. Until he finally held my chest to remes."
"Fuck shit!" garsa's curse is starting to get carried away. While Nadin alone looks calm without tears on his face.
"So she needs you again!?" ask the Guard who was immediately carried away by emotions.
Nadin exhaled a rough breath. It suddenly made Garda goosebumps because Nadin's breath right hit his neck. Moreover, their position was very intimate. But, the Guard was still sane to not do anything else.
"Because I'm getting nervous that she's treating me isn't really. I volunteered again, I said I was healthy not to be checked again. But he said the top is healthy, don't know the bottom."
"But I don't want to, Mom. I volunteered and maybe that's what made him angry" Nadin said afterwards.
"He's what you are!?"
"He's trying to make me kiss my lips. But I screamed because this feeling was not real," Nadin said stopped. The girl was remade 10 years ago. Without him noticing both his hands were squeezing the Guard shirt tightly.
"He finally let me go and I could go, too" Nadin continued.
"Your parents know about that, right?" Nadin's arm made Garda speechless.
"I didn't tell anyone about this. I'm ashamed and scared. I am also confused about who wants to tell the same story because Umma never cared about me since long ago. I don't have a place for stories."
"After the incident I could only cry. I don't want to go to school for days. Until grandma says the same Umma and Abah." Nadin paused his speech. The girl changed the position of her hand to hug the Guard.
"I cried when Umma and Abah found me. I said I wanted to come with them. I haven't been able to tell you that I was harassed by my grandmother's neighbor. They were angry with me. He said it's just my wits because I didn't want to go with grandma at first."
"Must not want me to have to stay there until I pass Elementary School" said Nadin in a limp voice.
"And you always meet that savage?" ask the Guard who immediately embraced Nadin.
"I always felt scared and unsettled. But again I can't do anything but dream everything myself" explained Nadin in a still-slow voice. It's too hard to actually tell a story he's always trying to forget.
"But fortunately she didn't hold on to me again until I graduated Elementary and didn't live with grandma anymore" Nadin continued afterwards.
The girl again sighed harshly before continuing her story. "I guess after I don't see him again I can relax at my parents' house. It turns out that not, Mas," said Nadin pause. "As long as I was Junior High School and High School I was always pressured to study. I was asked to be a pinter. Though they had always known that I could not be like his first child," continued Nadin again.
"Every day I get scolded because my grades are never good. I've always been compared to Mas Dikta who became an outstanding student there," the girl fought. Nadin's tears just fell on their own. He hates to remember the moment where every day always gets a clash and overflow of emotions from his parents.
"I'm tired I want the ease of feeling," said Nadin as if starting to despair at that time." I was always forced to follow their will when it was far from my ability. Plus I'm still pretty much the same thing as before."
"Until I can't control myself, Mas," said Nadin, making the Guard understand. This was the beginning of Nadin hurting himself. "At first I just hit my own head or pull my hair out. That's the only way I can make an impingement. It felt like a very long time to die, it felt," explained the girl.
"But for a long time I was not satisfied" Nadin said afterwards. Of course it makes the Guard curious.
"When there was a masterpiece lesson told to make crafts from used goods. I made it out of plastic laundry soap. Kan, I need a razor for the job. Time to do his job in the room. My hand accidentally hit. But I don't get sick. There was even a sense of calm that made me continue to say my body after that," explained Nadin.
Garda was made silent along with Nadin's explanation. Nadin's life was heartbreaking. The girl was injured because of the person closest to her.
"From that moment you hurt yourself?" asked the Guard with a hand that rubbed the back of his wife's head.
"I don't hurt myself!" nadin joked as if he did not accept the words of the Guard.
"I'm good with myself. They're all evil just like me. I helped myself not to die" continued Nadin with excitement. "I don't hurt myself, Mom. I'm not evil! They're evil just like me."
"Yes-yes I'm sorry, yes, I don't mean to harm you," the Guard calmed down in a soft voice.
The man dyed Nadin's head a few times. His heart felt sliced when he found Nadin's body that began to shake.
"I'm sorry, yes," the Guard said slowly. He felt guilty for offending Nadin.
"Today can cry as much. But after this should not cry anymore," said the Guard firmly.
Nadin directly hugged the neck of the Guard tightly. Shedding the pain of reopening the wound that he was trying to dull. Even so Nadin can feel relieved and calm. It was as if a huge stone that kept squeezing his chest just disappeared.
"Outside first, yeah, I didn't realize I was sitting in the bathroom."
Garda's frowning face held back his gel taste. The man then stood with Nadin still in his lap.
"Luckily the floor abis I brush," said Nadin who is now in the sling of the Guard.
Garda smiled faintly at Nadin's words. At least Nadin's attention has been a little distracted now.
"Mas Dana," called Nadin in a hoarse voice.
The guard put Nadin on the bed. The man then walked to pick up clothes for Nadin. Pouring the shirt at his wife who looked lethargic with a red face.
"What?" ask Garda.
"Thank you for being patient with my story" said Nadin after wearing the clothes taken by the Guard.
"It should be" replied the Guard. The man rubbed the top of Nadin's head gently. "Now you can't tell your own story. Can't be pictures in the body again," said Garda with a deep look.
Nadin smiled at the term the Guard used. "When do I want a picture?" ask Nadin.
The guard was silent for a moment. Thinking of the right answer to Nadin's question. "Find me," said the Guard. "Let's hug let's calm down."
Nadin smiled happily afterwards. The girl directly hugged the body of the Guard standing before her. "Mas Dana," call Nadin.
"What?"
"Can you eat out today?" ask Nadin. To be honest, she did not want to cook. After all since marrying Garda, Nadin had never tasted eating out.
"May," answered the Guard straightforwardly. "Tonight we did not," said the Guard, followed by the carefree laughter of his wife.
"Thank you so much my husband" said Nadin softly.
""Sama-sama," replied the Guard with a sincere smile on his face.
"You must have thought too much about what Mom said yesterday, huh?" ask the Guard when Nadin has calmed down a lot.
Nadin nodded faintly. "I'm sorry, yes, Mas" said Nadin.
"I'm the one who should be sorry, Nadin," said the Guard. "You don't have to be afraid for me to stay. I will always be there to accompany you."
