"Mama's been out yet?"

Nadin, who was busy cooking, looked over for a moment. Found the Guard who had just returned from the mosque with a sarong and cocoa clothes. "No, Mas. I haven't seen my room yet either" replied Nadin.

This morning Nadin was busy tidying up the house. The laundry and dishes also pile up. So, Nadin has not had time to see the condition of his mother-in-law.

Without replying to his wife Garda walked straight to his mother's room. Open the wooden door slowly. Inside the room, Anita was sitting pensively on a prayer mat.

"Mama," call the Guard.

Anita looked at her first child for a moment. Both of his eyes looked red. His old face also looked pale.

"Nadin is already Masakin Mama. Mama ate, yes," said the Guard. The man sat down beside his mother.

Anita was silent with a blank look. It still felt clear the sadness that the woman was harboring. "Mama still can't believe Papa's gone" Anita said.

Garda smiled wryly. The soft back of Anita. "We must immediately make peace with this situation, Ma," said the Guard in a soft voice. "We sincerely Papa let Papa also calm there."

"Mama still can't accept Papa staying with us this soon," said the woman shrivelled. Anita lowered her head as her tears began to drip. "What should you do now, brother? What can you do without Papa?" ask Anita in frustration. He had been very dependent on Dimas. Who will he complain to now.

"Mama still has the Guard, Ma," said the Guard.

Anita looked at the Guard with her watery eyes. "Mama can trust you, brother. But how is your sister. What do we do after this?"

Garda was silent about what Anita asked. They still had to think of a way to trouble his little sister. "Let's let the Guard take care of it. Mama does not need to think about the problem of Sela," said Garda. Actually the Guard was also confused by the move he had to take after this. However, he tried to make Anita calm down.

"Sister," called Anita in a quivering voice. "Why are Mama's children living like this?" asked the woman with tears.

"Mama don't talk like this. There's nothing to blame for Mama's children's lives" Garda said.

"But this is all very far from what Mama has prepared, sister," Anita argued. "Mama's struggle from long ago to make your life perfect is in vain."

"Mama can manage everything according to your wishes. But there is a God who has set a destiny for us" the Guard said

The mother of the Guard returned. The pain from the news brought by his last child was still felt. Plus the sudden departure of her husband. It feels like Anita's world that has always been decorated with beautiful things and always strived to look perfectly destroyed.

"What do we do with Sela, sister?" ask Anita again. "Why Papa even left when there is a problem of this magnitude" said Anita full of regret.

"Ma," call the Guard slowly. The man gripped Anita's hand gently. "Mama believes 'is it the same Guard?" ask Garda who was immediately replied by his mother.

"Mama hand over this matter to the Guard. Mama doesn't have to think about anything. Garda does not want anything to happen to Mama," said the Guard sincerely.

Anita pitted her sharp eyes against the Garda's. Trying to find earnestness from the sharp eyes of his son. "Mama believe in you, sister," Anita replied convinced. "Now Mama only got you after Papa left" Anita added.

The guard was stunned to hear Anita's words. What Anita said is true. She was the woman's only hope after her father's death. This means that the Guard has a great responsibility for his mother and sister.

The sound of knocking on the door distracted their attention. Not long ago Nadin's face immediately looks poking behind the door. The young lady with a pretty face entered her in-laws room slowly.

"Nadin's done cooking, Ma. Mama want to eat out or Nadin bring it here?" nadin asked as soon as he reached beside Anita.

"Please bring it here, yes," said the Guard because Anita did not answer.

Nadin nodded faintly. After that he immediately turned around to prepare Anita's food. A tired breath came out of Nadin's mouth. This morning was exhausting for him. Even his work has not been completed since.

...

"I want to talk to you" the Guard said as soon as he entered the room.

Nadin who was busy ironing the shirt looked up. "Awhile, yes," said Nadin. The woman immediately turned off the sterica and slightly tidied up some clothes so as not to look messy.

The guard leaned against the back of the sofa with a straight look. "I assume our problem is over" the Guard said in a cold tone.

"Mas isn't angry, is he?" nadin asked.

Garda sighed softly. His head turned towards Nadin. Stirring his sharp gaze with Nadin's clear eyes. "You know what it's like to be disappointed?" asked Garda who was immediately replied by a small nod of his wife. "I'm very disappointed with your unilateral decision. I am very angry with you Nadin. It doesn't seem acceptable for you to do that without my knowledge" the Guard said.

Nadin looked down with his hands clutched together. "I'm sorry, yes, Mas" said Nadin regretfully. "I was really confused and scared. That's all I can do at that time" explained Nadin.

Garda had been trying to understand from Nadin's point of view since a few days after he learned that Nadin was taking the Pill. The man was slightly made aware that Nadin was not entirely at fault. The Guard itself is too demanding without ensuring Nadin's readiness.

"I'm sorry you," the Guard replied calmly. "But I don't want you to repeat that again" the Guard said.

Nadin nodded steadily. "I won't take any more KB pills" Nadin said earnestly. "I threw away everything I had."

"Promise with me" the Guard said defiantly.

Nadin was silent for a moment. There are doubts that have not been completely lost. However, Nadin did not want his relationship and the Guard stretched. "I promise I won't delay getting pregnant again" Nadin said.

He stared at the handsome face of the Guard that was soothing to the eyes. "Mas Dana also promised to always be the same to me, right?" nadin asked to reassure his doubts.

"Originally you follow what I say" said the Guard. "I don't like it when you're against."

Nadin smiled hearing that. She's quite a submissive wife. After all, there is no difficulty if you just obey the words of the Guard. Nadin could go on with the man.

"That means we're better?" nadin asked with sparkling eyes.

Garda smiled faintly with a small nod. It immediately invited the happy cheer of Nadin. Without a second thought, the body of the Guard he longed for.

"There's one more thing I want to talk about" the Guard said, leading Nadin to look up.

"What, Mas?" ask Nadin.

The Guard seemed to think before saying that one thing. Both of his hands had also been idle since then. Not yet moved to reply to his wife's response.

"We will stay here" the Guard said at last.

"We're already here" replied Nadin.

"It's not temporary as I used to say," the Guard slowly explained. "But for now and then."

Nadin blinked his eyes with a feeling of worry. "We're staying here?" ask Nadin to make sure. His body immediately moved away until his embrace was released.

The suggestion from the Guard became the answer to Nadin's question. The worried and restless face of Nadin can be immediately captured by the Guard. "You mind?" ask Garda.

"Mama really needs me here. So inevitably I have to stay here," explained the Guard. "If you mind you can stay-"

"I don't mind it" Nadin said quickly. "I have no problem living anywhere from the same origin Mas Dana," added Nadin.

Garda looked into his wife's clear eyes. Trying to find the truth of what the woman said. "Thank you for understanding me" said Garda with a thin smile.

Nadin nodded with his lips curving beautifully. The face of the Guard that looks tired lately. "It must be very heavy, yes, Mas is in this position," said Nadin.

The guard immediately pulled Nadin into his arms. He put his head on Nadin's shoulder. "I really need your help" the Guard said.

"I will always be there for my husband" replied Nadin.
