My Hate, the Water of His Eyes (The End of A Taste)
Syera Decree

The night was getting late but Syera never went to sleep. His mind is still struggling with what he has to do tomorrow. The surprise he got today was incredible. Starting from Leo who said Syera is his sister, requires him to stay with Leo even climb the emergency stairs up to the seventh floor.

Before Syera enters the room for a break Fandy convinces her to stay with him and reject what Leo has to say. Syera was more confused when just lying down earlier a message from a new number entered her phone. The owner of the number turned out to be Mila's mother.

The message said that Syera should stay with Leo and start a new, better relationship.

Just like Syera, Fandy is also still awake in his room. Fandy is sure that Mila's mom must have told Leo about her love for Shera. Mama Mila must have done that to make Fandy forget his feelings for Syera.

In contrast to Syera and Fandy, the man who lived next to them was actually sleeping so soundly. The man whose face was overgrown with feathers slept without wearing top clothes.

The next morning at breakfast Syera says the decision she made to Fandy.

"Sir, Syera will move next door" Syera told reporters.

"Can't because I won't let you."

"Just move next door. Not far, brother."

"I don't care if I'm far or near. You will stay with me forever" said Fandy.

Just a few mouthfuls of Fandy's already stopped his breakfast. He's getting ready to go to work. Last night he couldn't sleep because he remembered Leo's words and this morning his mood became worse when he heard what Syera said.

"Sister?" call Shera slowly. He approached Fandy's room and stood in front of the open door.

"I just moved next door, not far away. We will also meet every day. I'll play here a lot and we'll also take a walk when Syera is off work as usual. Fandy doesn't need to worry, Syera is sure that she will be nice too."

What Syera said Fandy did not respond at all, the man was busy putting the files in his bag that he took from the office last night to do at home but it was not so he did.

After putting on a tie and tidying up a shirt, Fandy was ready to go to work. Usually there are still about thirty minutes left for Fandy to leave but to avoid anything else happening because of his bad mood Fandy chose to leave early.

"Sister? Why silence," held Fandy's hand that was about to go. "Did Fandy not want our relationship to be better like the two of us?"

"But there's no need to stay with him" Fandy replied at last.

"Although that's Aunt Mila's asking too?" ask Syera without hesitation.

Fandy's bad mood makes his emotions ignited. Mama Mila, her mother must have just wanted to keep her away from Syera.

"Aw, brother!"

Syera was shocked as Fandy pushed his body to the wall and held both of his arms.

"Did Brother Fandy ever ask anything of you?" fandy asked who was answered with a headband by Syera.

"No, right? Never, but this time, Brother Fandy wants you to hear and promise that you will not go anywhere" press Fandy.

"Tante Mila"

"Even if you ask for it, Mama!"

"Sister?" call soft Sera. Syera believes that Fandy is only worried considering how Leo's attitude has been to her.

"Shera is sure to be all right. Sooner or later Syera will also leave here. I can't stay here forever. Fandy has a personal life too, doesn't he?" said Syera tried to give understanding but it turned out to make Fandy even more angry.

The tie Fandy wore seemed to choke him until Fandy opened it again. With a bit of roughness Fandy pulled up Syera's arm and took her sitting on the sofa.

Fandy took a breath to calm his heart and mind. Fandy did not want him to make a mistake or say something that was not good to Syera.

"Hm... Good. You must have thought before deciding. Honestly, Fandy disagrees, but it all comes back to you. But you have to promise me that there's nothing the first person you have to go to is Brother Fandy, okay?"

Syera was so moved to hear Fandy's words and did not realize Syera was crying.

"Why are you crying, hem? I should have cried because I would have stayed alone again" Fandy teased. Fandy wiped away Syera's tears and carried her in his arms.

"Violence was you who said that if you just moved next door but saw you cry like this as if you would never come back to this place again. Are you sorry now and changed your mind, hem?" gelak Leo's.

"Already, if it's still crying I really won't love you to stay next door" said Fandy stroked Syera's hair.

..........

Leo looked at his face in a mirror that was very different from usual. For the next few days he will be at home to rest. Two months up and down the mountain in various provinces in the country make Leo power drained.

For two months also Leo tried to make peace with himself and circumstances. Although not one hundred percent accept and believe what Mama Mila told me when she last met but Leo wants to try to act like a brother to Syera.

And Leo knew it wouldn't be easy to do given how it had to do with Syera all along.

Like Leo, Syera is also authorized not to enter work today. This day he was just lazing on the bed after Fandy went to work.

Bored because there was no activity Syera finally decided to pack her clothes. It only took a short time Syera had finished packing because the items she had were only a little.

After packing Syera cleaned all the rooms and rooms that had been her bed. She tidied it up so that when she got out of there Fandy could use it again like before.

Syera spends her time waiting for Fandy to come home from work watching television. Previously Fandy advised Syera to wait for him to come home from work and not go alone to Leo because he himself will take Syera there.

Too long watching makes Syera's eyes tired and also sleepy. Still with the television that lit up Syera lay her body on the sofa and soon she fell asleep.

Maybe because last night he was sleep deprived to make Syera sleep so soundly. Syera slept long enough until Fandy came home not heard. When entering Fandy saw Syera sleeping with the television on and the room was a little dark because it was late afternoon.

Syera finally woke up when Fandy turned on all the lights that made the room bright.

"You awake? Did you sleep well?"

Syera rubbed her eyes and saw the clock on the wall that had shown it past six in the afternoon. He didn't think he'd slept that long. Syera slept for more than three hours.

"Let's take a quick shower. We'll eat out" said Fandy.
