Already several hours of heavy rain flushed the streets making Syera forced to stand outside the resetting that has closed hoping the rain will soon subside. Some employees broke through the heavy rain on motorcycles while others were still waiting like Syera.
"Ra, what's the ride home? It seems like public transportation is not there because of heavy rain. No taxis passed by either. Your house is also different direction with us, how dong?" ask Baim who already knows where Syera lives.
"There must be, Im. If the rain subsides, there must be a passing."
"Usually if the rain like this will last aka long stop."
Syera hugged her body which was cold from the wind. There was no sign yet that the rain would stop even the sound of lightning and lightning like it would split the earth.
"Ra, we go home first yes, fear of getting busier. Why don't you know if we stay?"
"Yes, that's okay. Careful, Im. Slippery streets let alone the same bonfire of Mery."
"Yes, Ra. You're also careful when you come home."
Syera was alone, her eyes wobbled to see if there was a taxi passing by.
The night grew so that Syera began to fear that there was no one else she could talk to.
Did I just call? But they must be busy, there are important meetings in the company. I might be bothering them.
Earlier this morning before leaving for work Syera heard a conversation between Bima and Leo who will hold an important meeting with the leaders of the company department. As deputy director, of course, Fandy also participated in the meeting.
Syera looked at the time on her phone which was almost ten at night. Without thinking Syera directly pressed the number one on the key board of her phone.
"Sister?" call Syera like a man who almost cried.
"Why you?" a man's voice asked from across the phone. "Where are you?" he was worried again.
"I'm in front of the restaurant, brother. No public transport and taxis passed. Scared sherah, brother. The rain won't stop either."
"Who are you there?" the question is getting worried.
"I'm alone, brother. Everyone's home."
"Don't be afraid and don't go anywhere. Remember, wait there. I'll be there now and soon, okay?"
"Yes, brother."
Syera disconnected her phone call because the sound of lightning and lightning returned. His fear was a little lessened but somehow Syera started crying.
Duars!
The sound of lightning shocked Syera until her phone was thrown from her hand because it was like there was a spark coming towards her phone.
"Hiks... Sis, hurry."
Syera grew weeping and squatting on the doorstep of the restaurant.
..........
Luckily the streets were quiet, there were not many vehicles moving so the speed of the car was so fast that it could arrive so fast even faster than when there was no rain.
The searchlight of the car that stopped in front of him made Syera immediately lift her head.
Syera stood with her eyes puffy from crying. Finally the person he called and waited for got out of the car with an umbrella in his hand.
"Are I taking too long?"
"Hiks...Brother Fandy," crying Syera slammed into Fandy's arms.
Earlier...
The important meeting held since the afternoon was completed within two hours but because it was raining outside Leo as the supreme leader and owner of the company held an impromptu dinner in the office with the employees the one in the meeting room.
One box car came with an order and was immediately taken to the meeting room. Amid the event Fandy got a call from Syera who was detained could not go home due to heavy rain and public vehicles that seemed to stop operating.
At first Leo was not so concerned when he saw Fandy talking on the phone. But when the look of Fandy's face changed like there was a problem making Leo curious. Moreover, without saying anything, Fandy immediately left the ongoing dinner.
Where Fandy was going, Leo didn't know because he didn't hear what Fandy was talking about on the phone. Leo looked out of the window curtain of the meeting room, he saw the streets were quite quiet because of heavy rain.
At that time Leo remembered Syera and immediately called her to make sure whether Syera had come home or not. Several times Leo called but the call did not come in. Is it because of the bad signal or because the Syera phone ran out of battery Leo doesn't know.
Leo is worried and eventually after Fandy leaves the dinner, Leo will go to the restaurant where Syera works.
Due to lack of caution almost Leo hit the road barrier twice. In the middle of the road Leo saw a car driving so fast and when he noticed the license plate number Leo knew it was Fandy's car.
Leo recalled Fandy's worried look on the phone with someone. The more Fandy accelerates the speed of his car, the faster Leo also carries his car.
"Where is he going?" see Fandy's car turn left on the sidewalk. "Do you want him here? There's no way that he's" Leo fell silent when he realized Fandy's direction was the same as the direction he wanted to go.
Just five minutes after turning left of the car fork Fandy stopped right in front of the Syera restaurant working. Fandy got out of the car with an umbrella. Fandy finds Syera sitting crouching at the door of the restaurant. Syera cries coming into Fandy's arms.
"I'm sorry if I'm long, are you scared?" calming the Scream.
Syera shook her head. Of course Syera was scared in her situation but that made her hiccup in Fandy's arms because the man arrived so quickly. He could not imagine the speed of the car that Fandy was carrying in the conditions of heavy rain.
"Don't cry anymore, we're going home now." Fandy loosened his embrace and wiped away Syera's tears. Fandy also took off his suit and put it on Syera.
"Come," Fandy hugged Syera's shoulder after opening the umbrella.
Syera was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief after Fandy's arrival. No longer confused about how to go home in rainy conditions and public transportation that no one passes.
You don't consider me at all, do you? I'm not the first person you remember when you needed to be. You just remember he's not me. I mean nothing to you.
Leo's gaze became sad after watching Fandy and Syera's interaction from inside the car. Seeing their closeness makes Leo's heart ache.
"I'm the only one who feels it, I don't like seeing you with other men. I don't like, I don't like."
Leo turned his head to the right as Fandy's car passed him. He could see Fandy's left hand stroking Syera's head. Through the rearview mirror Leo looked at Fandy's car which took Syera away and was no longer visible.
