My Heart Shares Your Love

My Heart Shares Your Love
Chapter 6

Sean flinched, never knowing Diana loved him.

"Sorry Diana, I will never be able to love you."

Diana was disappointed, her heart was so sick knowing the man she had loved for so long was married. But after hearing Sean's story about Syifa, he will try to accept reality.

"I'm going home." Sean left Diana alone in that garden chair.

**********

Diana was crying in her room. His life was ruined for the second time.

"South...."Sluggishly.

"Why aren't you destined for me?"

Diana closed her eyes, memories of the past spinning. Remembering how he met Sean for the first time.

Diana is a young girl who lacks attention and affection. He lived alone in Melbourne because of his parents who sent him there, with the reason to continue his education. His parents are always busy with their own business.

Diana who lives alone turns into a girl with free association. Go to nightclubs and get drunk often he does.

One night Diana returns home drunk with a stranger she just met at the club. Along the way to the apartment room the man peppered Diana.

"Ck, move!" Diana was still half conscious. But the man continued his action.

"I said get out of the way!" Shouted Diana pushing the man.

"You don't need a saint, miss! We better enjoy tonight together." Said the man with his perverted grin.

THE PLAQUE!

A hard enough slap landed on the man's cheek.

"How dare you slap me! You cheap lady!" The man slapped Diana back to the floor.

Sean who happened to pass by there accidentally saw the scene.

"Hey you! How dare you be rude to women!" Hardik Sean's.

"You must not interfere and defend this cheap woman!"

Sean helped Diana stand up, at the sight of the woman's wounded face at the corner of her lips. It makes Sean emotional, he doesn't like it the most if there are men who hurt women.

Bugh!

One punch landed on the man's face again, causing him to fall down. His condition affected by alcohol makes it difficult to rise.

"Don't you ever dare bother this girl again! Or you'll know the consequences!" Threat Sean.

*********

"You okay?" Sean asked the sobbing Diana. Diana just shook her head slowly. Now they are both in Diana's apartment which turns out to be only three doors different from Sean's apartment.

"Who are you?" Diana asked, she felt like she had never seen Sean before.

"I'm Sean. I just stayed here."

"I'm from Indonesia."

"really? I am also from Indonesia. Nice to meet you, my name is Diana." Diana stretched out her hand, but Sean folded his hand in front of his chest. It made Diana stupefied. The girl pulled her hand back.

"Diana, I'm going home. It doesn't feel good if I'm here too long." Sean got up from sitting down. Diana looked at him with an indescribable look.

"Assalamualaik." Sean said as he left the room. Towards the door that was open earlier. Sean didn't want anyone to misunderstand him when he saw him alone with Diana. Diana was stunned without answering her greeting.

From that day on Diana tried to find information about Sean. It turned out that the man had just moved there to continue his studies. And they happen to be a college. It makes them slowly start close even though Sean always keep his distance.

Diana asks Sean to be her friend. At first Sean refused and said there were no friends between a man and a woman. But Diana continued to insist, until Sean agreed to befriend him. Still at a safe distance.

Diana was so amazed by Sean, when men always approached and teased women, but Sean was the opposite. He never approached let alone teased any woman.

That feeling of admiration slowly turned into love. But Diana harbored her own feelings for fear that Sean instead stayed away from her after knowing her feelings.

Diana tries to improve herself, from the beginning she who likes to go out at night and get drunk to be a home girl and just focus on her college. He also tried to deepen his religious knowledge, although he did not dare to hijab but he tried to improve his prayers that he had always left.

Diana's change was realized by Sean, the man was happy because his friend turned into a better figure. Without realizing the change in Diana was influenced by him.

Diana had also planned to propose to Sean after graduating from college. Because he knew that Sean did not want to date, and wanted to get married immediately. He'll wait for the right time to do it all. Without a care Sean would refuse or accept it later. The most important thing is his intentions.

But who would have thought, before everything happened Sean was married first with Syifa. A girl who met Sean for the first time.

Diana could not violate the presence of Syifa, because in fact Sean who fell in love first with Syifa. He will only try to forget his feelings for Sean even if it is impossible for him.

**********

"Hi." Sapa Diana hesitated when she saw Sean just come out of her apartment.

"Hi." Reply Sean.

"I'm first." Diana walked ahead without waiting for Sean to answer. Today they have classes, usually they will walk together to the campus which is quite close. But it looks like they can't do that anymore.

Diana closed her eyes, her tears dripping down representing her feelings.

He'll start to stay away from Sean, as Sean asks. He also did not want if one day Sean's wife misunderstood him.

**********

Three months passed, though,

Slowly Syifa opened her eyes. The incoming light seemed so dazzling, making him blink slowly.

"How's Syifa? Can you see already?" Ask a female doctor who is standing in front of her. While Mother Yasmin stood beside him in anxious hope.

Syifa's smile rose, as everything began to be clearly seen.

"I can see, I can see.... Praise be to Allah..." He said in tears. The mother standing beside him immediately hugged him.

"This is Mother Syifa, Thank God you can finally see again." Mother Yasmin could not hold back her tears.

"Mother, Syifa can see again..." His wife in the arms of his mother-in-law.

A week ago Mother Yasmin called the hospital and said there was a suitable eye donor for Syifa. The opportunity was not wasted, they both went straight to the hospital that day.
