Chapters 17. Jefri's rage.

Jefri looks restless waiting for Melani's return. He waited almost two hours. Not only did Jefri seem restless but Mother Yana also felt.

From earlier Jefri had issued various swearing and threats coming out of Jefri's mouth made Yana afraid to lose the gold mine.

"As a mother, why can't you know where your son is going?"

"Lani said nothing, Jef. He is usually on time. Maybe it's a job."

"I think so as not to be disturbed when learning or running out of batteries," said Yana still trying to defend Lani so that Jefri is not angry.

"Here's your phone!" jefri Pinta. Lani just kept quiet without giving because actually the phone still has a lot of battery. If Lani gives it is the same as expressing her lie.

"Where's your phone! Do you have so many secrets that I'm afraid I'm checking and knowing your lies?" asked Jefri again in a high voice.

With a heavy heart Lani took the phone from inside her bag. Still doubtful he gave it to Jefri. The man revives Lani's phone. The woman resigned. Jefri will know his lies.

Lani was shocked from her daydream when she heard the impact of a hard object on the wall. While figuring out the origin of the sound, Lani sees that her phone has become splintered. Jefri threw the phone very hard against the wall.
