Chapter 39. I've Got to Go.

Yudha came out of the restaurant before she was evicted by her owner. The man no longer paid any heed to Jefri and Lani. He wanted to go home because Yudha felt sorry for her mother who had been betrayed by her papi with Lani, the young woman who deserved to be his son.

For Yudha to break up with Lani turned out to be a good choice. He no longer regretted breaking up with the girl.

Fortunately Yudha's car was still able to reach the nearest gas station, so she wouldn't run out of fuel. Without stopping by first, Yudha will be home soon.

At the restaurant, Lani just came out because she was embarrassed to be seen by the crowd and it was discovered that she turned out to be a mistress of a man who had a child her age. So did Jefri, after paying, he immediately followed Lani to the car and left from there.

Yudha parked her car in the garage. He entered the house with mixed feelings. Yudha did not know what to tell her mother if she had just caught her papa walking alone with Lani, the woman who yesterday became her lover and whom she had introduced to her mother.

"Loh, you're home? Did you finish your job?" Mami Manda's voice sounded from the other direction, and it made Yudha immediately turn towards her mama.

Yudha tried to expand her smile to her mother. She hugged her mother to make Mami Manda a little surprised at her son's behavior.

"Why you?" mami Manda asked as she squinted her eyes.

"I just want to hug Mommy again." Yudha tried to find another reason for her mother not to know right away. Although Yudha's plan would also inform Mami Manda of Jefri and Lani's depravity behind them.

"Mi, can I talk to Mami for a minute?" ask Yudha carefully.

Mami Manda squinted her eyes for a moment, "What do you want to say?" ask Mami Manda.

"Well, let's say what?" Mami Manda asked Yudha to follow him sitting in the living room.

Yudha took a deep breath, she looked at her old mama and Yudha wished that she had not spoken wrongly. Yudha felt that her mother was obliged to know about this.

"Actually I didn't do a job, Mi." Yudha confessed, but Mami Manda laughed at her. "Kok Mami even laughed anyway?" ask Yudha.

"It's nothing, but even though 'mami also will not forbid you to go to play if you tell Mami honestly. Anyway, why use all the lies?" That was Mami Manda's response.

"So that's actually me lurking Lani, Mi. But it turns out I even saw Lani the same way Papi," said Yudha.

Mami Manda's body turned tense. He did not expect that Yudha would tell him this about the two of them. Yudha noticed a change in the look on her mother's face and Yudha immediately embraced her.

Yudha thinks Mami's face changed because she was shocked to hear Lani and Jefri's affair, but Mami Manda was shocked because Yudha had found out who Lani really was.

Actually, the thing that makes Mami Manda was surprised because Yudha knew the relationship between her father and Lani.

But Mami Manda still pretended to be shocked in front of Yudha because Mami Manda did not want Yudha to know that she already knew their relationship.

Yudha released her embrace from Mami Manda's body. He rubbed the tears dripping on the middle-aged woman's face. For Yudha, seeing her mother cry was more painful than knowing her and Lani's relationship.

"You're not making this up, are you, Jud? Who knows it's not your Papi" said Mami Manda still pretending to be shocked.

Yudha shook her head, "I saw with my own eyes that they were eating in a restaurant and they looked very friendly, Mi. Even Papi waited for Lani in the apartment that Papi bought for the shameless woman." Yudha explained everything to her mother.

It was good that Yudha knew the truth. About who Lani really is, so Yudha will not pursue Lani anymore. Inner Mami Manda.

Mami Manda cried, "When Mami has received Lani very well, but why would she betray us both?"

Yudha tried to calm her mother. She knew that her mom would be shocked not to play around knowing this fact. Moreover, when Yudha remembered that her papi had said that she also became her bedmate Lani. This made Yudha even more disgusted to Lani and her papi.
