Chapter 56. Jefri Ponakan.

Jefri is shocked to hear Yudha mention Lani by name. Since splitting up and breaking up with Lani, Jefri has never known and does not want to know about the woman.

"What else is with that woman? Do you still want to be in touch with him?" papi Jefri asked with a slightly mocking face.

"Did Papi think I'd want to get in touch with Lani again?" Instead of answering Papi's question, Yudha even asked back.

Not that he wants to judge someone for sins committed. However, accepting Lani was never in Yudha's mind. It was all because the woman had been in contact with her Papi.

If Yudha accepts Lani and they become a couple, surely the shadow of Lani's past will continue to haunt them every time they meet Papi. Different if the one who became Lani's partner before was someone else who Yudha did not know.

"So what's the news about, Lani? Why did you go to Papi?" ask Papi Jefri again.

"Lani needs material help from Papi."

"Why ask with Papi? We have no relationship anymore. Ever since Papi cut ties, there's been no communication between us."

Jefri is still hurt because Lani asked to break up. She has separated from Manda and wants to marry Lani. However, his intention was rejected.

"Lani is suffering from brain cancer and it costs a lot. Papi has no pity. He has been with Papi for over two years. Doesn't Papi want to know how he is?" yudha asked in a slightly high voice.

"What's wrong Papi if he becomes this time? Is it Papi's fault that he's sick?"

Papi Jefri is still with his stance. He does not want to be blamed or bear the cost of Lani. For Jefri it's none of his business.

"So Papi does not want to help Lani even if only for humanity?"

"More need Papi's help. Why should Lani? If Papi's still in touch with him, Papi's gonna help."

"I don't know what to say. All decisions are in the hands of Papi. If Papi thinks it's not Papi's responsibility, what can I do? There's no way I'm forcing. I'm just asking, Papi think about what I said!"

Yudha stood up and was followed by Aira. The girl smiled at Jefri. He from just now was silent no one let out a single word.

"I'm sorry, I think I know you" Jefri said with Aira.

"Sorry, Om. I forgot."

"Do you know your mom and dad's name?" ask Jefri.

He feels. knows Aira, but forgets to know where. Yudha looked at the faces of Aira and her Papi. Why does Papi feel like he knows Aira? Ask Yudha in my heart.

"My father and mother, Reffdi and Susanti, Om."

Jefri seemed shocked to hear Aira mention the names of her parents. Papi immediately stood up and hugged Aira.

"Om, Sorry. Do you know my parents?" ask Aira.

Jefri let go of his embrace and held both of Aira's shoulders. Yudha was astonished to see what Papi was doing.

"This is Jefri. Jefri, cousin of your mother. The last time Om met you and your mother, it was at 2 years old. You look so much like your mother."

"Sorry, Om. I forgot!"

"It's not your fault. Where do you know Yudha son of Om? We'll have a little chat, okay?"

Jefri invited Aira to sit on the sofa in her study. Yudha was forced to follow, sitting beside Aira. The girl knew that Yudha was getting bored and wanted to go home. He took Yudha's hand.

Aira tells how she knows Yudha and tries to also say about Lani. Who knows, Jefri is open-hearted.

"You know Lani too?" jefri asked at last, after Aira had finished the story.

"Yudha introduced. I feel sorry for seeing her current situation. At first he didn't even want to take medication."

Jefri smiled stiffly. He recalled the conversation with Yudha. Aira must have known about her relationship with Lani by now.

Jefri is happy to finally be reunited with his father. However, she is also embarrassed if her sister Susanti finds out she separated from Manda and is cheating on her with another woman.

Susanti likes Manda. He is very familiar and affectionate with Manda. He was once in Manda's help by providing business capital.

Both of Aira's parents moved out of town to open a shrimp farm. Last before they left, Manda gave business capital. If he knew Aira and Yudha had a relationship, it would have been very happy.

"Om is going to see Lani one day. Not at this time."

"Don't take too long, Om. Lani needs the support of all who know her. What else Om ever close to Lani."

"You know everything about Om and Lani's relationship."

Aira smile. He held Yudha's hand. Jefri saw all of that without a blink.

"I and Yudha have been in a relationship as lovers. There's nothing we're hiding. Yudha says all about her ex Lani. Frankly, when I heard the story of Yudha, I was disappointed with Lani and Yudha's Papi. I can feel Yudha's disappointment."

Jefri couldn't say anything. He also realized that it was wrong to reciprocate Mami Yudha's attitude by cheating and lying. What difference does he make from Manda? But he always judges and says all Manda's faults without wanting self-correction.
