Mystery of Bu RT

Mystery of Bu RT
Jakarta in the 4th Century

The morning sun was approaching, throwing golden radiance in the sky of Jakarta. The cold wind blew slowly across the lush green fields that stretched to the banks of the Ciliwung river. Three young people, Aria, Rama, and Maya, get ready for their incredible journey into the historic past. They stood on the edge of the window of Bu RT which has now become the door to a distant age.

In the silence of that morning, they took turns staring at the window, thinking of the adventure they were about to experience. The half-open window was lit up with a soft blue light, signifying that the time had come.

Rama, the group's unofficial leader, gave a warning, "Let's go in."

In an instant, they jumped through the window into a different world. They arrived in the middle of a dense forest filled with the sound of birdsong and colorful flowers. This was Jakarta in the past, 4th century AD.

Aria smiled, fascinated by the natural beauty around her. "This is absolutely incredible! Imagine that Jakarta as we know it today was a very different place at that time."

They walked through the forest, tracing the trails that led to the ancient Hindu settlement. Along the way, they saw the ruins of the temple ruins and statues of gods embedded in the cliff walls.

Maya points to a temple located at the top of a hill. "That's our goal, Shiva's Temple. Reportedly, there are historical artifacts that are very valuable."

They carefully climbed the hill, crossing an old stone bridge overlooking a beautiful river. When they reached the top, surprise awaited them. The Shiva Temple is a magnificent structure decorated with stunning carvings, but the most striking is the enormous statue of Lord Shiva standing in the center of the temple.

Aria. "This is. this is amazing."

However, as they approached the statue, they saw something very unusual. The look on the face of Lord Shiva changed from calm to angry, as if the statue was alive.

Rama distanced himself quickly. "What's going on?"

Suddenly, a deep and resounding voice filled the air. The voice sounded like the voice of Lord Shiva who was angry. "Who would dare to step foot in this temple? Say identity!"

They looked at each other with pale faces. Maya tries to answer, "We are researchers from the future who came to study history. We don't mean to disturb or damage anything."

Miraculously, the statue of Lord Shiva began to speak more gently. His voice permeated the air as if he was telling a great secret that had been hidden. The youngsters smiled happily, as if they had discovered a hidden knowledge that was extremely valuable.

The look on the face of Lord Shiva who was originally angry and resolute, turned into a gentle and friendly expression. A soft light flashed in his eyes made of stone. He began to tell the story of Jakarta in the past with his voice deep and full of wisdom.

"Today, in the 4th century AD, Jakarta is not the city you know today. It is a small settlement dominated by Hindus. The city is located on the banks of the fertile Ciliwung river, and our port is a bustling trade center."

The young men listened carefully, pervading every word spoken by Lord Shiva. They meticulously recorded every detail given by the statue.

"Our town is filled with beautiful Hindu temples, with statues of gods adorning every street corner. We are a sacred religious place and a prosperous cultural center. However, like all cities, we also face challenges and conflicts."

Lord Shiva went on to explain about the changing times and conflicts that had occurred in ancient Jakarta. He told about the prosperity and decline of the city, about the daily life of its people, and about the importance of religion in their lives.

As the story ended, Lord Shiva said, "You have come to understand our history. Now, go, and remember the lesson you learned here."

With a sudden blue light pervading them, the youngsters returned to the present. They bring home valuable knowledge of the old history of Jakarta and feel grateful for this unique experience.

When they returned to Bu RT's house, they found Bu RT sitting in front of the half-open window. "You've returned safely" Ms. RT said with a warm smile.

Rama replied, "We have learned so much about the history of our village. Thanks for your help, Ms. RT."

Ms. RT nodded. "History is part of our identity. It's important to understand it. And remember, now you have valuable knowledge that you must share with this village."

With that said, the youngsters knew that they had earned an invaluable gift from their journey into the historic past. And with that knowledge, they promised to take better care and respect the history of their village.
