A sunny morning in Kampung Lapaman, Bu RT strolled around the village feeling happy after returning from 1962. The birds chirped merrily in the green trees, and the flowers bloomed beautifully. Ms. RT felt that this was a special morning, and she felt close to nature that she loved so much.
As he walked through the streets he had known since childhood, he pondered about the incredible experience he had just experienced. How could he possibly go back to 1962 and attend the Asian Games? The magical power of windows has led him to an unforgettable adventure.
However, halfway through the journey, he suddenly saw a very familiar figure. A glittering light appeared before him, and within that light, he saw a figure that he knew well. There was no one else but Mr. Jono, his close friend who had died many years ago.
Ms. RT was stunned and speechless. He knew this was a miraculous encounter and was different from the power of the window that brought him into the past. Mr. Jono smiled with a warm smile and sat under a large tree on the side of the road.
"Good morning, Ms. RT," said Mr. Jono in a calm voice. "It feels so good to see you again."
RT ma'am was finally able to respond in a sneer, "Sir Jono, this is truly magical. How could this happen?"
Mr. Jono laughed softly. "Some meetings are fate, Ms. RT. And when we talk about destiny, sometimes, greater forces work beyond our understanding."
The two of them sat under the huge tree, feeling a sincere longing. Ms. RT recalled the good times she had with Mr. Jono in this village. They talk about memories that make them smile.
"When we pick fruits in your garden, Ms. RT, that's one of the most beautiful moments of my life" Mr. Jono said with a smile.
Ms. RT nodded in agreement. "And that afternoon chat on your porch, Mr. Jono, it's always been an experience I've been looking forward to."
Mr. Jono looked at Ms. RT with an affectionate look. "You've always been a special part of this village, Ms. RT. And we miss you."
As they spoke, the natural atmosphere around the story grew lively. The cool breeze blew gently, moving the branches of the tree which produced a soothing rustling sound. The birds continued to chirp happily, as if they were also celebrating Bu RT's reunion with Mr. Jono.
Their movements were full of expression and warmth. Ms. RT smiled with teary eyes, while Mr. Jono continued to comfort her with words of wisdom. The two of them felt each other's presence with incredible intensity, as if fate had brought them back together.
"Mom RT," said Mr. Jono softly, "you've made an incredible journey, and you'll have plenty of stories to share with us."
Ms. RT nodded. "I feel very lucky to have come back here, to Kampung Lapangan. This is my true home."
Mr. Jono smiled with great understanding. "Home is where your heart is, Ms. RT. And your heart is always here, in our midst."
This first meeting is a wonderful start to Bu RT's journey back to Kampung Lapaman. She felt full of happiness and gratitude for the opportunity to be with the people she loved in the environment she so longed for. And the meeting with Mr. Jono was one of those moments that he would keep in his memory forever.
After a magical first meeting, Ms. RT and Mr. Jono often met in various places in the village. They both felt that these meetings were a tremendous boon, and they did not want to miss the opportunity to talk about the past and present.
One of their favorite places is under a shady tree that grows in the middle of the village field. The tree has been around since Ms RT was a child, and she and Mr. Jono often sit under it as the sun shines brightly. They brought a sheet of mats and lunch to enjoy the precious moments together.
On one of the beautiful days, Bu RT brought a stock consisting of fried rice and banana chips. He mentioned that fried rice was one of Mr. Jono's favorite dishes when he was alive. Mr. Jono smiled and thanked Ms. RT while saying a prayer before eating.
They sat under the tree, a cool breeze blowing gently, making the leaves of the tree move with a soothing rustle. The birds chirped merrily over the branches of the tree, as if they were also celebrating the meeting of these two figures they loved so much.
Mr. Jono also gave thoughtful advice to Ms. RT about his new role in the community. "You have knowledge of the future, Ms. RT, and that is a great gift. Use your strength to help the people of this village, but do not forget to listen and respond to their needs. Life is a journey together, and we are all part of one big family."
Ms. RT permeated every word Mr. Jono attentively. He felt that this meeting was a very valuable source of inspiration and guidance for him. They both felt that their friendship never ended even though time had passed.
When their lunch was over, Ms. RT looked into Mr. Jono's eyes with gratitude. "Thank you, Mr. Jono. You are a great source of inspiration to me, and I promise to use this power for the good of this village."
Mr. Jono smiled gently. "You've always had a good heart, Ms. RT. I know you'll do your best."
The two of them sat under the tree, feeling a deep sense of happiness due to their meaningful meetings. Their togetherness is proof that destiny can bring loved ones back together, even if time has passed.
One sunny afternoon, Ms. RT and Mr. Jono walked together to the place they used to visit regularly, an old tree that stood majestically in the middle of the village. The tree has been a silent witness to many of the wonderful memories they once shared.
They arrived under the tree, its leafy leaves providing a comfortable shade. The ambience of the surroundings was so calm, with the splashing of water from a small river flowing nearby. The birds fly from branch to branch, creating a soothing melody of nature.
Ms. RT and Mr. Jono sat under the old tree, with friendly smiles on their faces. They looked at each other with gazes of respect and affection, like two best friends who had gone through so much together.
Mr. Jono started the conversation, "Mom RT, do you still remember about the children's games we used to play here?"
Ms. RT nodded enthusiastically. "Of course, Mr. Jono. The game was one of the most beautiful memories of my life. We're always having fun here."
They began to reminisce about the days when they were children, running around trees, playing with their arms, and chasing the sunset. They laughed as they recalled some of the funny events that had happened back then.
Mr. Jono then talked about the traditional ceremony of their village which has been going on for years. "Did you know about the traditional rice harvest ceremony, Ms RT? All villagers will gather in the fields to celebrate the harvest with prayers and traditional dances."
Ms. RT smiled broadly. "Yes, it was a moment of togetherness. Everyone works together to celebrate the success of the harvest. I feel so grateful to have been a part of that tradition."
They both continue to remember their old traditions that have shaped the character and culture of the village. They tell stories they have heard from their parents, stories about ancestors and how this village has grown and evolved over time.
As they spoke, their gestures were filled with enthusiasm. Ms. RT occasionally raised her hands to show scenes from the past, while Mr. Jono laughed cheerfully and occasionally shook his head with appreciation.
The atmosphere under the old tree was so peaceful, and the natural atmosphere surrounding them added beauty to their meeting. They felt that this village was a part of themselves, and they were both guardians of the heritage and traditions they had inherited from previous generations.
At the end of this meeting, Ms. RT and Mr. Jono felt more connected to the roots of their village. They realize that this old tradition is an inseparable part of their identity, and they both promise to continue to care for and preserve this legacy for future generations.
They stood under the old tree with sincere smiles. "Thank you, Mr. Jono," RT said respectfully. "This meeting was a wonderful gift to me, and I feel closer to this village."
Mr. Jono nodded. "Same-sama, Ms. RT. Traditions and memories are part of us, and we are their guardians. Let's continue to share these stories with the next generation."
They left the old tree with hearts full of happiness and gratitude for their extraordinary meeting. They know that this village is a part of themselves, and they will continue to look after and preserve everything they have loved so deeply.
