CHAPTER 24 You?

"Then accept this ring"

Rio took out a ring from his suit pocket. It wasn't the ring that Sena took. Rio deliberately bought a new one for Angel. Angel looked at the ring Rio thrust towards her. A very nice ring with a very striking pink diamond.

"Let's take it! or do you want me to pin it on your day?" tawar Rio's. Angel stared flatly at Rio.

"Receive the ring? I'm not that stupid! receiving that ring means I'm your wife again. I don't want to be an outlet for your anger anymore! I have feelings too! I'm not a doll you play with!"

"Being my wife again? you're still my wife, I haven't divorced you"

"Then divorce me now!" pinta Angel without a doubt. Angel wants to get away from this and live her life quietly and happily with her parents.

"No! I won't divorce you!" rio replied firmly. Angel felt the person in front of him his heart became stone and did not know himself. All this time Rio was toying with his feelings without thinking about whether his heart was hurt or not. Rio always gives false hope that makes Angel disappointed and as easy as turning the palm of Rio always say sorry. It is easier to say sorry, but forgiveness is hard. A broken heart cannot heal quickly, and every crack needs more than an apology.

"You never think about my feelings? just little! if you were me you would feel what I feel now!"

"What do you really feel?

Angel was really sick of seeing Rio's face. What is so stupid Rio to ask the wound that Angel feels especially the wounds that do not bleed itself that scratches into Angel's heart.

"You want something good? please let me go, I want to continue my life!" please Angel who wants to be released from Rio.

"I told you, I won't let you go even if I have to force you" Rio said with a dinginya. Angel did not know what poison Rio was drinking until he turned cold and had no heart. Rio continued to force. Angel shook strongly but Rio kept pulling Rio's hand.

"I DON'T WANT TO!" angel shouted with his sharpness. That second there was also a person who brushed off the rough hand of Rio who gripped Angel's wrist. That person also pushed Rio's body away from Angel.

"I'm not going away, you freak! I wouldn't want my friend to be hurt like this, so GO!" throw him out with a stick. Rio looked at Angel who was still sitting. Rio clucked in annoyance as Angel turned his gaze aside. Rio clucked then passed away leaving Angel and the young man forcedly.

"What the hell are you doing?"

The young man immediately crouched down before Angel. Angel fell silent as she looked at the face of the young man who was helping her. The young man smiled very sweetly at Angel.

"Why? you forgot about me?" asked the young man in a tone of disappointment.

"You? you Rey?" angel said in disbelief. The young man nodded while looking at his smile.

"It's me, Reyhan"

"But you, right?"

Angel doesn't believe Reyhan one of her close friends is in front of her right now. As far as Angel, the person in front of him has moved to Bali and attended school there since the second grade of High School. Angel never dreamed of seeing him again even Angel never exchanged news with him after his phone went missing somewhere.

"I'm off to play, your hands?"

Rey took Angel's hands. Rey clucked in annoyance when she saw both of Angel's palms scuffed because of Rio earlier.

Angel was sitting in the garden waiting for Rey. Soon Rey returned with the P3K box she always carried in the car.

"Old yeah?" tanya Rey sat next to Angel.

Angel just shook her head slowly. This feeling he felt was not as painful as his wounded heart.

"Don't be a strong ass! I know you're gonna want to cry?" tease Rey who was cleaning Angel's wound with cotton. Angel who does not accept such a word can only puff his cheeks.

Rey caught a glimpse of Angel's face and went back to treating Angel's wounds.

"Aww. slow down sick tofu cake!" spray Angel that feels pain. Rey just nodded. Rey herself is applying wound medicine to all the scratched parts. Rey then blows Angel's wound so that the wound medicine dries up quickly.

"Already" Rey immediately looked up at Angel's face.

Angel feels uncomfortable being stared at Rey like this somehow makes Angel's feelings not careless.

When Angel wants to answer the voice from Rey's stomach makes Angel frown.

"Laper again" Rey complained and then turned to look at Angel by looking at her smile.

Rey scrunched her chin as she felt herself being ignored. Rey sits in the corner of the shop while watching Angel who is helping Jihan.

"Can I reveal it?" ask Rey to herself. Rey took a breath and got up from her seat. Rey helped lift the dirty dishes on the table.

"Loh Rey, you just sit down" said Jihan, who saw Rey helping her. Jihan does not feel good on her own especially Rey has been considered her own child and certainly Rey is tired on the way from Bali to Jakarta.

"Yes Tan, just a little gini" said Rey origin without seeing Jihan.

"You're aunty so it's not good"

"You've been given food earlier, assume you're paid for energy"

"Do not need to be caper!" angel interrupted. Angel is always jealous when her mother cares about Rey more than she does.

Angel and Rey have been friends from Junior High and their parents are also friends so the two are like brothers who sometimes get along noisily. It looks like tom and jery.

"Mom, is the stall closed?" ask Angek who saw his mother put food that lived as close to the clear plastic. It's still two o'clock in the afternoon when Jihan wants to close the stall.

"Mom's tired, we have guests anyway, right?"

"You weren't invited" Angel said as she looked at Rey. Rey just looked at her teeth.

"What look-look? don't you ever see what kind of person?" rey said in an unsound tone.

"Ck, handsome where'd you try?" angel who does not want to lose.

"From the top of the monas pack a straw! Tan I anterin yah" Rey bargained well or maybe there's a shrimp behind the stone?.

"Religent" said Angel while turning his eyes.

"Well, who wants to take you? PD's crazy. Tan come on, stay here siucrit"

"Yes Rey"

"Loh, mum. Kok El was left behind" said Angel who did not accept his mother to go with Rey. Leaving her here, Angel felt that she was not considered a child anymore or maybe this was called a biological child like a stepchild?.

"El lock the door!" jihan said before stepping out.

"Iihhh.. bummer..nyebelin!!!" angel said as he stomped his feet.

Angel was alone walking down the sidewalk and out of nowhere to everyone. Usually the lotto is crowded with pedestrians but this is even quiet like this.

Angel walked over and bowed his head. Angel felt all the more difficult with the arrival of Rey. Rio must be thinking something.

Angel pov

What am I supposed to do? I'm afraid Rio told everything to mom and Rey. The Rio I know now turned cold and have no feelings. Why does my heart hurt when Rio is rude maybe I am disappointed because Rio once promised to take care of me but the truth is that he hurt me instead.

The tightness in the chest returned I think makes it difficult to breathe. I stopped my steps and looked up at the cloudy sky. Looking at that sky I remembered the moment Rio kicked me out in the middle of the night.

"Follow me!"

"No! I won't let you off even if you kneel before me"

I looked at Rio's annoyance. If he wasn't rude, I'd want to go back to that house. I used to love him but now I hate him. He always plays on my feelings regardless of whether I'm hurt or not. I know Rio only wants a child from me only that's nothing more.

"I don't know what made you change, you always made me comfortable but being close to you just makes it hard to breathe" said Angel with her gentle tone and a very sweet smile at the end of the word made Rio speechless.

"If you really want me back, I want Sena to take me home" continued Angel again and turned to leave Rio alone.

Angel didn't want to go back to that house. Angel used Sena as her shield especially yesterday it was clear Sena refused her presence.

"Why?"

Angel's tears just fell with the increasingly heavy rain. Angel did not care about this rain and rumbling in the sky even Angel did not care about the lightning flash.

"I'm tired"

Angel down. Both hands clenched for a second Angel did not feel the rain that flushed it anymore. Angel looked up, both of her eyes seeing a very sincere smile.

"Why you?"

Rey's car stopped in front of Jihan's rice stall. Rey got out of the car to the door but the door was locked.

"Where's the kid?"

Rey returns after dropping Jihan off and now wants to drive Angel home. Actually wanted to take Angel somewhere but now it seems he has to find Angel first.

Rey looked up at the cloudy sky and it made Rey feel worried. Rey remembers that Angel was afraid of the sound of lightning.

"I have to quickly find him" Rey said as a drizzle began descending from the sky.

The Rio/Sena

Rio entered the house with a feeling of annoyance but Rio did not realize that there was a pair of eyes that looked so angry.

"Where are you from?" asked Sena who was very upset because she had been to the office and said the secretary Rio did not come to the office since morning.

Rio stopped his steps then turned his head towards Sena who was walking towards him.

"Where's your honest answer from?" sena asked once again but Rio just kept silent. Sena's little heart said that her husband met his mistress' wife.

"Don't tell me you've met Angel"

"Yes I did meet him" Rio said flatly without thinking about Sena's feelings.

"This Rio you are"

Sena really can't believe Rio's doing this to her. He was well aware that he was the one who told Rio to get married again but this was not what he meant. Sena only wants Rio to get a child who will later become her and Rio. At least the boy had Rio's blood despite not having his.

"I just took this from him"

Rio looked at the ring that Angel had rejected. Sena seemed to be in disbelief Rio gave this beautiful ring to Angel.

"You said Angel didn't deserve any of this, did you? then this is for you" Rio continued again and gave cinchina to Sena. Sena seemed happy to receive this expensive gift.

"I'm going to the room"

Rio stepped away leaving Sena who was still dashing the ring that Rio gave her.

Parkland

Rey stopped her car near the park. The rain was getting heavier and even the lights in the garden lit up.

"Where is the child?"

Rey sees someone sitting in the rain and Rey knows who that person is from the clothes she wears.

"El?"

Rey got out of the car with an umbrella to protect her from the rain.

"What is the rain-blown child?" said Rey astonished to see Angel who was silent like that.

Angel does not realize that Rey is stepping towards him. Rey pointed the umbrella she was wearing to Angel. Angel looked up.

"Why you?"

Angel did not answer but he immediately got up and hugged Rey tightly. Rey was surprised and astonished but clearly Angel was crying.

Rey took off the umbrella she was holding and returned Angel's embrace. Rey was confused as to why Angel was crying like this.

"Don't cry, I'm here"

"Rey"

Angel sobs on Rey's chest. The rain drenched them both. The meeting was somewhat less pleasant especially for Rey who could not lie if she was sad to see Angel like this. There was a person who based Angel and now he has to see Angel crying even though Rey is eager to see Angel's smile and laughter.

"You're still a crybaby" Rey sneered as she tightened her arms.

Angel feels his wounds are slightly healed because the presence of Rey, his best friend who is upset but knows what he needs.

Rey took off Angel's embrace. Angel is feeling better now. Angel looked at Rey who was also staring at him. Angel was getting upset. The two are chasing each other under the rain that is starting to subside.

Rey splashed the rain water collected on her cushion that flipped towards Angel. Angry Angel took off both shoes and threw them one by one towards Rey but.

Rey runs back but a tired Angel just lets Rey run as she pleases. Angel chose to sit on the bench. Rey, who realizes Angel is not after her, turns to her. He found Angel back upset.

Rey runs over to Angel after Rey picks up Angel's shoes that were thrown by Angel.

"Let's go home, I'm carrying" Rey bargained and made Angel surprised.

Angel's House

"Mom don't keep on roaring, you don't see if they're both cold" Erik's nagging second-hand "spokes" shivering in the cold. Jihan sighed.

"You guys change fast!"

"Yes"

Angel walked up the stairs while Rey walked out to her car and grabbed a clean shirt.

Angel's family is very receptive to Rey's arrival. Even the three are now busy chatting with his familiar. Rey looked at Angel's room. Rey is worried that Angel has not yet come down.
