CHAPTER 57 stay with you, Angel

".... So my wife?"

Angel took off Rey's hand. He steps away from Rey making Rey feel like there's something Angel is hiding. Rey followed Angel from behind.

Angel feels not ready to tell the truth, Angel is not ready to accept Rey's hatred and negative views on her.

Seeing Angel who is silent like this makes Rey restless especially when he came here yesterday Angel also seemed to have a problem that he did not want to share with him.

"El?"

Angel sits on a park bench. Rey also sat down next to Angel. Rey turned to Angel who looked very sad.

"You why? let's reveal everything to me, don't be like this. I'm so worried"

"I have to start where I'm confused and I'm afraid you'll hate me"

Hearing Angel's words, Rey increasingly felt confused and anxious. Rey grabbed Angel's left hand and clasped Angel's hand tightly as if giving strength.

"Rey, I'm married"

"I was pregnant but miscarried, do you remember the man who was rude to me?"

Rey of course still remembered, she was furious when she recalled her abusive treatment.

"Is he your husband?"

"Yes, his wife told me to go and she said the deal was over but the truth is, I'm still under that deal. I came back again and a month ago I gave birth to a very cute baby boy. His birth made this covenant come to an end and I too have been divorced. You must hate me now"

A baby? Rey smiled when she heard that. Now that he was not worried, the choice of his heart was very appropriate. Angel has been married and takes care of the baby so surely Angel can take care of herself and the child that will be present between her and Angel.

Angel bit her lower lip because Rey was quiet like this. He should have been honest from the start probably wouldn't have been this sick. Hearing Rey's question makes Angel remember the pain of loving a husband she never had.

"You sure? don't you live on one roof and have a child"

"I'm sure. If so, I love my son more but what my day. I have to get over it, I believe she's gonna grow up healthy with the people who love her"

Angel looks very sad. He still had the sweet smile of his little angel. Rey knows Angel is very sad and she doesn't want Angel to get sadder. The question was just reassurance and Rey was very appreciative of Angel's decision even though Angel would cut ties with her.

"Your decision? I still hope"

"Rey, I don't deserve you, ak-"

Angel's words stopped because Rey kissed her. Rey took off her kiss and gently stroked Angel's right cheek.

"You know, I love you so much and will forever be like that. I promise to be a better husband than him and a father who will love your son and if your son comes back to you, I will love him like my son" rey said softly and full of seriousness to make Angel's heart tremble. The figure of this young man in front of him was truly perfect.

"I don't care about it all that clearly she's divorced you means you can marry someone else and that's me. After all you deserve to be happy and I will never leave you"

"But your parents certainly wouldn't agree with this"

"Your parents don't know about this either, do they?"

"I want you to answer, yes or no?"

"But our parents?"

"Just let them not know about this matter"

"But?"

"That marriage is we're not them. I accept you with all your burdens, I want you to share them with me. I don't care about any of that, El! because I want to take care of you for the rest of my life. You don't think of yourself as inferior, you are perfect and I'm just a person who loves you without the slightest intention of making you hurt"

Angel was silent. He doesn't want his marriage to be like yesterday and hurt like yesterday. Rey feels Angel does not want to be with her and she does not want to corner Angel straight so Rey is forced to say things that she herself does not like.

"I don't want to make you more burdened, El so. if you don't want to marry me. I won't force you, sorry to make you uncomfortable"

Angel is feeling bad. Maybe this is God's way to remove Angel's heart wound through Rey and a sign that Angel rose from her slump all along.

"You accept me who gave birth to this? you accept me that other men have touched? would you live with me who is a widow?"

The question was also to reassure Angel's feelings as well. Angel also wants Rey to rethink her decision. Angel did not want Rey to change her decision on the wedding day or while living a married life and became a tool to hurt her heart. Angel doesn't want any of that.

Angel smiled thinly. Rey was relieved even though it really made her feel unable to breathe.

"Reeeyyyy" complained Angel making Reyhan laugh. Angel snorted annoyed with Rey's pranks that could have upset her.

"My back is sore" lamented Rey who immediately lay on a park bench and her head was on Angel's lap.

Rey smiled sweetly while looking at Angel's face which increased the aura of her beauty. Angel did not mind Rey's treatment. Angel is very grateful because Rey wants to accept him who has given birth to children. If there is no Rey, Angel may now be dissolved by deep anxiety and sadness.

"What looks like a pufferfish?"

"You're beautiful even more than that, you're perfect in my eyes. From the past until now you were always able to make my heart beat fast"

"Don't keep lying about your nose long Pinocchio cake" said Angel while pulling slowly Rey's nose.

"There's nothing so Pinocchio from Pinocchio is yours"

"Well, will I pack a cardboard box or pack a newspaper?"

"Are you guys gonna send him a box car?"

Rey's annoyance then closed both eyes. The trip was very tiring especially he drove himself from the airport here and before he was overtime also lack of sleep.

Angel gently caressed Rey's head hair as well as her face. The touch made Rey fall asleep in her dream even Angel was surprised to hear a subtle snoring sound from Rey.

Angel shook her head slowly, she wondered why Rey could sleep in a place like this or indeed she was very tired. Angel smiled to see the face of Rey who was still the same as the first he met, his nature and treatment to Angel is still the same nothing changed from Rey only Rey's increasing maturity although still annoying.

Angel used both backs of her hands to block the sunlight from hitting Rey's face so that her sleep was not disturbed.

What is clear is that Arfan will never be able to choose between the two, everything is very meaningful for Arfan.

"I don't know, I just doubt the uncertain. Excuse me, Pa"

Arfan stepped away from Riko. With this attitude of Arfan makes Riko know Arfan does not want to say things that he knew all along and somehow Riko felt annoyed to himself because he could not understand the situation since long.

Rio/sena Room

Hearing that Sena laughed cynically. Wife? it was a very funny confession after divorcing Angel.

"What do you want Ri!" Angel immediately stomped her hand until Rio's hand was released. The person driving the silver car was Rio. Angel was very upset to Rio who seemed to want to make himself unable to forget himself.

"Come with me!"

"Well, I don't want to go with you just to see your face I don't want to!"

"Ck! don't argue with me!"

"Who are you? you have no right to rule my life anymore!"

"Rey, let's go! there's no point in talking to him" Angel asked. Rey knows Angel is no longer comfortable here so Rey chooses to obey Angel's will.

"Yes already"

Rey and Angel started to step away from Rio. Rey clasped Angel's hand. Rio did not believe Angel ignored him and did not care about Kevin his own son.

"You want to go with him? you don't care about your son anymore?"

Hearing the question made Angel's footsteps stop. Rey is worried that Angel will be fooled by the rude husband's words.

Angel looked towards Rio. Rio showed his cynical smile. Angel hated Rio even more, as if she did not want herself to breathe freely. Rio seemed to have become a black shadow in his life, a shadow that seemed to continue to haunt him.
