Chapter 10 Statement of Rendi

"Rosalina, I love you. Do you want to be my girlfriend?"

The question escaped from Rendi's lips. His eyes were still closed even though he had already said what he wanted to say earlier.

Now he mustered his courage to say it. He did not want to delay back like that time. He must give up Rosalina, the girl he had been after for a long time to become the girlfriend of his friend named Raihan Pramana.

After their relationship ended, Rendi again prepared herself to declare her love for Rosalina. And now he has said it. It felt like he did not want to hear a rejection answer from Rosalina, he was very afraid that Rosalina would reject him.

"What do you mean Ren?" asked Rosalina who was still in a state of shock to hear the confession from Rendi.

Rendi opened her eyes, she was now looking at Rosalina who was looking at her with a questioning look. Even the baby Chintya who was moving around was not comfortable ignored by Rosalina.

"I want us to date," Rendi replied as she held Rosalina's hands together and looked at her with a pleading gaze.

"You're healthy, Ren? You're not delirious, are you?" ask Rosalina back.

Rendi smiled looking at him, then she looked Rosalina in the eyes intensely and said,

"I'm so sure and I don't want to lose the chance to get you again. How, do you accept this declaration of my love? Do you want to be my girlfriend?"

"Sorry Ren, do you know why I'm here for what? And I'm ashamed that you know it" said Rosalina firmly before she passed away leaving Rendi who still could not believe what she heard.

"Rosa, I don't care about that and I'll prove that I love you so much. I'll buy you the bag you want to have. Come with me now and you no longer need to work here" exclaimed Rendi as she ran after Rosalina who was in the middle of Kenzo's yard.

The cry of Rendi was heard by Kenzo. Kenzo's frustration grows when he hears Rendi confessing her feelings to Rosalina and tells Rosalina not to work anymore as a baby Chintya manager.

"Take off Ren, poor Chintya is already sleepy," said Rosalina while throwing Rendi's hand holding her hand.

"But Ros-"

"Take him off and quickly get out of my house" exclaimed Kenzo sternly and his gaze expressed his anger.

Rosalina and Rendi turned towards the source of the voice. Rosalina's eyes widened to see Kenzo who seemed to look angry. As for Rendi, she tried to hold Rosalina down but to no avail.

Rosalina prefers to go inside the house by leaving Rendi who is trying to hold her back.

"Ren, please don't right now, I have to put Chintya to bed" Rosalina said with a pleading gaze.

Rosalina's pleading gaze made Rendi let go for now. She didn't want Rosalina to hate him.

"Alright, I'll give you a chance to think" said Rendi as she moved away from Rosalina to get inside the house.

Rosalina rushes in because she doesn't want Kenzo to be even more angry with her.

Kenzo looks at Rendi with dislike before she walks into her house following Rosalina and baby Chintya.

Kenzo sat back in the chair watching television. Actually he was just waiting for Rosalina who came to explain what had happened with him and Rendi.

However, it was a waste. Almost an hour Kenzo waited for Rosalina to come out of Chintya's baby room but she didn't come out either. Kenzo fell asleep on the couch with the television still on.

After a while Rosalina woke up from her sleep. It turns out that she fell asleep at the time of putting baby Chintya to sleep.

"Ehemm. Take a drink first," said Rosalina as she moved out of the room.

By the time Rosalina came out of the room, somehow something caught her eye. There, on the sofa of the living room, there was a figure that he had avoided earlier sleeping.

Without hesitation Rosalina approached him and confirmed Kenzo's head which Rosalina said was uncomfortable.

Feeling that something was disturbing his sleep, Kenzo slowly opened his eyes. But he stopped, because dimly he saw the face of Rosalina who was right in front of his face and looked at him while saying, Rosalina,

"Om Kenzo is very handsome Om. Unfortunately, Om likes to be angry. Rosa is afraid. Even more handsome if Om sleeps like this. Especially if Om is not a widower, surely I will fall in love with Om. Ck, it's a pity that Om is not a virgin."

Kenzo held back his laughter hearing what Rosalina said. She was really trying to keep her cool so Rosalina couldn't figure out if she was just pretending to be asleep.

"Eh I was going to grab a drink, why come here anyway? Ck, I think Om Kenzo is more interesting than drinks," said Rosalina, chuckling.

For whatever sake Kenzo was comforted by Rosalina in his house. She had never felt that way before Rosalina's arrival at her home.

Even so many baby sitters who used to care for baby Chintya, no one can make Kenzo smile, laugh, upset and even angry. Only Rosalina can make it that way.

Rosalina leaves Kenzo who is still pretending to be asleep. He walked into the kitchen to get a drink.

As for Kenzo, he actually breathed a sigh of relief from feeling he was not okay when Rosalina's face was right in front of his face.

Huff....

My heart is going to explode. Perhaps because I was afraid of being discovered by him, Kenzo said in his heart as he rubbed his chest that was still beating rapidly.

He closed his eyes again as Rosalina approached him again. It turned out that Rosalina brought him a glass of water and some pieces of fruit in a plate placed on her front desk.

"Om, eaten yes fruit, water is also drunk, let Om stay young and healthy. Let it be handsome," said Rosalina, chuckling, then she left Kenzo back in the baby Chintya's room.

Kenzo could not help his laughter. As soon as Rosalina walks into the baby Chintya's room, Kenzo's laughter explodes on its own. It was just that he could still control the sound of his laughter.

In the baby Chintya room, Rosalina scrunched her forehead when she heard Kenzo's faint laughter coming from inside the baby Chintya room.

"It sounds like Om Kenzo, but it's a faint voice. What is the sound of TV? Ck, stupid me. Why didn't I turn off the TV. I turn it off first" Rosalina monologued in the room after which she walked out of the room into the living room.

"Of Kenzo?! Om awake? What's more, Om?" asked Rosalina consecutively while moving her eyes until her plump eyelashes twitched up and down making Kenzo fester at the sight.
