Chapter 39 Honesty Levia

Every marriage is the most anticipated thing is the presence of offspring. After Kenzo and Levia officially became husband and wife, their parents did not stop talking about their offspring. They all wanted Kenzo and Levia to have children so they would soon have grandchildren.

Kenzo, as a husband, is obliged to give his wife rights when they are officially married. And it is undeniable that Kenzo also wants offspring in his marriage.

"Don't you want our bridal night? Why are you wearing pajamas? Doesn't a wife usually wear lingerie on their first night to please her husband?" kenzo asked with a chuckle, he tried to melt the awkward atmosphere because of Levia who had been silent to him.

"I-I.e.," Levia was nervous, she was still worried about her decision to come clean to Kenzo.

Kenzo walked over towards Levia who had just come out of the bathroom. With a sweet smile, Kenzo reached out his hand to take Levia to their bed.

Levia's body was placed by Kenzo on the bed. It seems that Levia is very nervous and tense at the moment. Kenzo found out, and then he said,

"I know maybe we haven't grown a real love yet. It's just that for me marriage is a sacred bond that we really have to keep for the rest of our lives. And I'm sure that that love will grow over time on its own if we just do it. I won't force you to do it with me tonight. But I would feel guilty for both of our parents who desperately want our grandchildren. As you heard earlier, they always remind us to give them grandchildren as soon as possible. So... What's your decision?"

Kenzo did not force anything on his wife, he just tried wisely not to disappoint anyone, because they were all the closest people in his life.

Levia just stood still and looked down. It was obvious that he was thinking about something.

Kenzo as a man took the initiative to start because usually women are synonymous with shy and as a man he must be sensitive to his partner.

Kenzo's hand held Levia's chin and directed her to look at him. Kenzo's face slowly approached Levia's.

However, when their lips were about to meet, Levia stopped Kenzo from doing so.

"Ken, wait," said Levia, covering Kenzo's lips with her palm.

Kenzo frowned, wondering why Levia stopped him.

"What's wrong? Any issues?" ask Kenzo who is still in position before Levia.

"Ken, I. I will tell you something," Levia replied nervously.

Kenzo moved his body from the front of Levia. The look of relief displayed by Levia's face at that time.

"Speak, I'm ready to listen to him" said Kenzo, now sitting in front of his wife.

"Ken, actually." Levia took a pause to breathe first, really she was very nervous and not ready to say it.

Kenzo stared intensely into Levia's eyes, wanting to know what his wife was going to talk about so as to stop Kenzo from touching her.

"Huffd... I'm sorry, I'm pregnant now" Levia said, looking into Kenzo's eyes.

Kenzo fell silent, he could not believe what he was hearing at the moment. Just a few moments later, when he realized, he asked his wife again because she still did not believe what she heard.

"What do you mean?" kenzo asked with a sharp and probing look.

"I'm pregnant and I'm two weeks pregnant now" Levia replied softly with eyes implying sadness.

Kenzo stood up from his seat and turned his back on his wife. He did not want to see the face of his wife who managed to incise a very deep wound on his heart on the night of their bride.

"I'm sorry Ken, I can't tell you before. I'm sorry, I'm sorry" Levia said with tears in her eyes.

Kenzo clenched his hands, his jaw hardened withstanding his anger. A marriage that was reserved for his entire life is now ruined already, even before he started.

The wedding night that was supposed to be a beautiful and very historic night in every couple, is now the worst night for Kenzo. Even the name Levia was like being traumatized for him if he heard it.

"Who is he? Who's the baby's father?" kenzo asked with his teeth tightened to hold back his anger.

"He's my boyfriend. Even we haven't cut ties when Papa betrothed me to you," Levia replied by wiping away her unceasing tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Why don't you refuse this match?" asked Kenzo in a slightly raised voice.

Levia walked up to Kenzo and knelt before him.

"I'm sorry Ken. I can't refuse it. Papa is very hopeful about our marriage. And I beg Ken, I beg that we remain like this until in time you may divorce me" Levia answered on her knees and held Kenzo's hands together to plead with her.

Kenzo violently threw out Levia's hand that held her. He would not come into contact with his wife who betrayed him before their marriage took place.

"You're selfish. You only think about your happiness. You don't think about anyone else. You think I'll be okay? You think I don't have feelings?" kenzo asked with his emotional face that he could no longer control.

"Sorry Ken, I'm sorry. I was selfish and thought only of my parents. I even gave up my love for the father of the child I bear today. I couldn't see my parents both sad and ashamed when their son was divorced by her husband on the first day they got married" Levia said in tears.

"You're great. You can do everything very neatly and no one knows about this. Don't-don't-don't your parents know if you're pregnant, either" Kenzo said with a wry smile staring at Levia.

Levia nodded with her hand wiping her tears. Then he looked at Kenzo's very unfriendly eyes, Kenzo's gaze like someone's gaze on his enemy.

"You can do anything to me. But please, don't divorce me now and don't tell my parents about this. I promise I will explain myself to them when this child is born and you can divorce me at that time" Levia said, holding back tears that still pooled in her eyes.

Kenzo is surprised by Levia's request. He did not understand what Levia was planning.

"It's so easy for you to talk. You realize you're sacrificing me on this?" kenzo said with emotion he was holding back.

"You're free to relate to other women. I will not ban you and will not take care of your personal affairs. I promise" said Levia, who was still on her knees even though Kenzo was no longer in front of her.

Kenzo again nodded at Levia's words. His anger grew more and more hearing what Levia said as if he was a man who was easy to relate to a woman.

"You're crazy!" exclaimed Kenzo who then left Levia alone in the room bemoaned his grief.
