Chapter 5 Bonuses

Rosalina was shocked because her hand felt held by someone. And sure enough, when he turned his head it turned out that Kenzo was holding his hand until his footsteps stopped.

For some reason, the baby Chintya was very sound asleep, as if she knew that her papa was sick at the moment.

In the early hours of the morning, Kenzo's eyes opened and he found Rosalina still nearby. More precisely he was asleep at this time near Kenzo with a sitting position.

Rosalina's head was placed on the edge of Kenzo's empty bed untouched by Kenzo's body.

I don't know what made Kenzo act like that to Rosalina. He also did not know why he had told Rosalina to wait for him inside his room.

Actually last night the trauma came back. Every time someone brought up Levia, his late wife, Kenzo would have nightmares, sometimes he was delirious and could not sleep well.

With a brisk walk Rosalina rushed towards the baby Chintya's room. It turns out that baby Chintya is still sleeping soundly, unlike usual she often woke up and cried fussy until a long time silent.

His eyes were closed again when he heard the sound of foot clattering which he believed was Rosalina's footsteps leading to his room.

Rosalina gave the bowl of porridge in front of Kenzo, and Kenzo just looked at it without intending to accept it.

"I used to do homework. Anyway if only cook porridge is easy Om. I'm used to taking care of my sisters and if they're sick, I take care of them too" Rosalina replied proudly.

Kenzo smiled faintly looking at the look of pride from Rosalina after she was frightened at the time when asked by him.

"Later I will definitely give you a bonus for taking care of me who is sick," said Kenzo as he reached for a glass filled with water on his nightstand.

Deftly Rosalina took the glass and gave it to Kenzo along with the medicine.
