Not My Baby

Not My Baby
15. Occasions

Less than a week had passed and it was during this time that Davendra did not appear before Viona and Arka again. The man disappeared as if nothing ever interfered with Viona's life.

Now Viona is no longer afraid that Dave will come to take Arka away from her, as it seems that the man canceled his intention to take Arka and of course Viona is grateful for it.

At the Viona parlor helping to take care of the children, here the task of cooking food is his duty now. He no longer works at the Restaurant, his resignation letter had also been sent three days ago. At first the manager asked and he was very sorry for Viona's hasty decision, but finally the middle-aged man agreed.

Viona's friends are also unwilling for the woman to leave but how else? They could only accept that decision.

"Viona!"

The woman who was washing their old dishes all breakfast was looking at the door, there Bela nuns who also work here to help the mother of the orphanage take care of the children. The girl is one of the children raised by the mother of the orphanage because the girl helped in this orphanage.

"Someone's looking for you." He approached Viona.

"Who?"

"Come away, you better get there! Let me finish this." Viona nodded as Bela took over her duties, the woman then came out to meet her guest.

At first Viona did not recognize the man who was sitting on the sofa, but when the mother of the parlour told her to approach slowly Viona knew who the man was.

"Here comes Mr. Viona."

Viona's body froze, even her hands were cold so nervous.

"Son, this sir is our permanent benefactor, I don't know if you know him?"

Likewise, who would have thought that Davendra was a permanent donor at the home where Aruna grew up? The man should have known Aruna grew up here if Dave was really looking for Aruna and Arka.

"Mom, can you leave us both?" Pinta Viona to the mother of the parlour, the unrest in the eyes of the young woman was clearly visible in the vision of the mother of the parlour but the middle-aged woman was reluctant to ask.

Glancing a glance at Davendra then the mother of the parlour went from there. The middle-aged woman decided to join the other children behind the house.

"You think I just let you go?" A thin grin was clearly visible on the corner of the handsome man's lips, only that Viona did not see him as she kept her head down.

Her fingers clad in sweat as the size of corn kernels dropped past her temple, illustrating how nervous Viona was at the moment.

"S-i...

"Did my threat sound like a joke in your ear?"

Viona shook her fearful gaze colliding with Davendra's sharp eyes.

"I beg you sir, do not take Arka from me" Tears that for a week almost never come out back pouring.

"Your chances are up, there's no tolerance for insubordination like yours."

Dave gasped when Viona suddenly rested under his feet, the little hand holding his leg with pleading eyes.

"I beg! Let Arka be with me."

"James! Take my son from Maria!"

Viona looked back and found that not only were the two of them in this room but James was also with them.

"No, Mr. James, please."

"I'm sorry Viona." There was nothing he could do, he had long since witnessed how Dave struggles to find Aruna, and it turns out that the girl brought Davendra's child of course the man will not let go of his son just like that.

Viona was overwhelmed in what other way did she have to prevent these two from taking her son?

"The demands!"

"I will sue you for taking Arka from me!" The woman woke up from her original position then stood staring at Davendra and James.

The courage that initially rose from the impulse to protect from within Viona disappeared just like that when a small ruffled sound came out of Davendra's lips. Viona's feelings are getting worse because of it.

The guy laughs?

Suddenly Dave moved from where he was sitting and walked quickly to Viona.

Viona's body looks very small faced with Davendra's large body that is so sturdy, even Viona is not able to move her legs to retreat backwards away from Davendra.

"You don't think about what you just said?" The man's warm breath gently swept across Viona's face that was still staring at him. "I don't even have to smear my finger just to take my son away from you" he continued.

"What do you mean?"

"Remove from your mind to sue me Viona .. You don't want this parlor to just disappear, do you?"

Viona quivered her tears down more and more, it turned out that right her decision to hide here was wrong.

"James! bring Arka here."

"Good!"

"No! Can't!" Viona ran up to James but unfortunately Davendra held her body with her sturdy arm.

The woman's punches were placed on Dave's arm, which was wrapped around his stomach, but the man didn't budge at all. There was a faint sound of baby crying coming from behind, and Viona was sure it was Arka's voice.

"Sir what are you doing?" Maria, the mother of the parlour followed James from behind. Davendra's man suddenly came back there and then took the Ark he was carrying.

The old woman's gaze was fixed on Viona who was thrashing in Davendra's hands.

"Mother! take Arka from her mom!"

James approached Viona and Davendra with Arka crying in her arms, both small hands swaying at Viona. The toddler knew that in front of her was the mother.

But unfortunately the small body was first taken by Davendra.

"Give him to me!"

"Let's go."

"Wait-wait!"

Viona squashed at Davendra's feet suddenly, Maria who saw it ran a little towards her daughter.

"It's a son." Ask Viona to stand up.

"I beg Mister! let me be with Arka! no need to be her mom let me take care of her until she's a little bigger." Viona's cry broke out, confused what else she had to do to keep Arka around her. Arka is his world after Aruna's departure, then what should he do if Arka also goes from his life?

The mother of the home came crying who would have thought that Arka was the son of Davendra?

Dave sighed he glanced at Viona who was still holding her legs very tightly.

"All right."

Viona looked up at Davendra full of twinkle.

"Come to my house tomorrow morning, it's my last chance."
