39. Old papa came home

Viona laid her body on the bed comfortably. This day in tired of playing with Arka who is increasingly active, not to mention she also has to clean the house and also cook dinner for her husband.

"I'd rather you go to bed than wait all night." Sometimes Dave would be late at the office all night, and when he came home his wife was always waiting for him to fall asleep on the sofa in the living room.

"Now go take a shower, after that we have dinner."

Dave snorted, "You haven't eaten yet?" the man straightened up as soon as his wife missed dinner again.

Viona shook her head, she was too tired to take the rice on the plate.

"Honey, I told you not to miss dinner, right?"

"Sorry today I'm too tired" replied Viona.

Dave sighed as if the right decision was calling Gee back to work at his house.

"Then I take a shower, don't go to bed before dinner." Dave warned his wife not to sleep while she was taking a bath.

The woman nodded in understanding, seeing that Dave breathed a sigh of relief then went to the bathroom to clean himself up.

A few minutes after cleaning himself Dave out of the bathroom with a towel hanging around his neck, the man could only sigh deeply when he saw Viona falling asleep on her stomach.

"I told you not to sleep first" the man murmured.

Because of Viona's seemingly uncomfortable position, Dave turned his wife's position to be as usual so that her sleep was not disturbed.

Viona was surprised when she headed to the kitchen the aroma of cooking was already smelled so fragrant, and it turned out that Gee was there struggling with kitchen utensils.

"Gee? Why are you here so early in the morning?" Viona walked over to the chef who used to be very meritorious in her life.

The middle-aged woman laughed, "who told you to get tired to make your husband worry."

Viona shook her head, who would have thought that Dave would directly contact Gee's mistress the next day?

"Is there anything I can help you with?" viona asked when she saw that almost the entire cuisine had been handled by the middle-aged woman herself.

"Just your son and husband, son, let the kitchen be my responsibility."

Viona opened the door slowly from the outside, when entering it turns out Dave is still asleep in bed.

"Dave, let's get up." Viona wiggles her husband's blanket-clad body, not usually Dave wakes up late like this. Her husband must be so exhausted.

"Let's take a shower, after that breakfast."

Viona then leaves Dave for Arka's room. The handsome toddler was awake but she was still rolling around in her baby box.

A few minutes later after bathing and replacing Arka clothes they went out to the kitchen, it turns out that at the dining table there was Dave who first arrived there.

"Come," Dave takes Arka from Viona's sling. Before his wife walked away he landed a brief kiss on her cheek.

Viona sits next to Dave, in fact she wants to help Gee prepare food but it doesn't so because the middle-aged woman snickered sharply as she approached.

"Papa's son slept well last night?"

Arka nodded, "old father went home." The toddler was upset that last night he couldn't play with his father.

"Father's at work," Dave kissed Arka's whole face. The boy whines when Arka wants to cry and Dave stops the action.

"Some days you always come home late, is everything okay?" Viona is also anxious if Dave always comes home late like this.

"The company is working on a project big enough now, to make sure our project runs smoothly I should always monitor the performance of our employees in the office." It was clear to Viona.

Davendra is indeed running a shopping building project in a fairly strategic area, but there are obstacles that cause this project to be temporarily delayed.

The plan is they want to build a building on the land belonging to one of the famous collectors, but their plan had to be delayed because the land was not only their company that glanced but there were business rivals as well who wanted the land.
